Kerry is perfectly correct. The COVID manufactured “crisis” is just an extension of the AGW “crisis”. Neither have anything to do with science an are all about destruction of society and life as we know it.
The destruction of our basic freedoms is the logical next step from non-existent “existential crisis”.

Left out of these panicky proposals:
1. There’s no proof that reducing CO2 will have any measurable effect on climate. Climate change is much more complex than that. Alarmists’ implicit assumption is that CO2 is the control knob for climate, but the chance that’s true is slim to none.
2. Left out of these drastic action/existential threat jeremiads is the fact that China passed the U.S. in CO2 emissions 20 years ago. China also produces & consumes about half the steel and concrete in the entire world. Both materials have high “carbon footprints” and are essential to modern life. All the hand-wringing over “infrastructure” is meaningless without steel and concrete. China knows that. Americans apparently do not — another grave failure of U.S. education.
3. Even if the U.S. does reduce CO2, China, India and Africa will not. That’s about 4 billion people who aren’t alarmed vs. 330 million who are alarmed, or pretend to be.
4. In short, the Kerry/Gore shtick about climate is ludicrous and counterproductive. Lefties are always worried about “what the neighbors will think” — AKA ‘How other countries regard the United States.” Aren’t they worried that the rest of the world will notice how stupid we are, and what blockheads we choose for leaders?

It’s time to begin an all out assault on Global Warming and Climate Change. What is needed is to provide technical and scientific information to members of the Congressional members so they can attempt to do their best to attack the basics behind the MYTHS. Of course this will be difficult as they will often state that ‘97% of scientist believe in CO2 as a contributor to global warming’. In fact, as pointed out in the book (Inconvenient Truths) this is not true. I think your P.S. is likely correct, Joel, however neither Israel nor Saudi Arabia are inclined to sit around when the threat from Iran is so clear. The recent reports of meetings between leaders of the two countries lends some credence to the idea that, at the minimum, Israel and Saudi Arabia may follow the idea that “the enemy of my enemy is my friend”. We need to wait to see where the flames are exactly located. Stay safe.
A Biden administration will do whatever it can to undermine all Trump accomplishments, including his mid east peace efforts, otherwise, they must give Trump credit for a job well done and that would undermine their strategy of hate and loathing. Izaak, I hate to break it to you but “by over 6 million votes” is a meaningless number because it’s not popular votes that elect presidents in the US, it’s the electoral college, and the EC result hasn’t been certified yet. While it looks likely Biden will prevail (God help us all) it’s not a done deal until the election results have been certified (Will be happening over the course of the next couple of weeks, barring any legal delays that might or might come out of the lawsuits) and the EC electors have cast their votes (happens in Dec) and those votes counted up in the House (Occurs in Jan).
As to “evidence of fraud” there’s plenty of that to be found, if you don’t cover your eyes and plug your ears. The dead vote has been know about for so long it’s become a cliché, Lots of “glitches” that all magically go the same direction. Election rules changed not by the legislatures (the only body allowed to make such changes), Safeguards that were lowered (and in some cases dropped altogether) in the name of the pandemic, make fraud easier to accomplish and harder to detect, it won’t be easy to separate the fraudulent votes from the legal ones.
Whether there’s sufficient amount of it that can be proven and that would affect the outcome of the election is for the courts to decide. Ultimately, it’ll be up to the Trump team to make their case in a court of law. Until they have their day in court, you don’t know what evidence they will present and pretending otherwise just shows us all that you are as stupid as you appear in most of your posts. The odds are certainly stacked against President Trump but we let Gore & Bush have their day in court in 2000 (remember that one? Gore didn’t conceded – or rather he did but than quickly withdrew it – and the lawsuits continued until mid-Dec. when the Supreme Court final ruled on the issue), no reason not to let Trump have his in 2020, what are you afraid of? that the courts will find that there really was fraud going on?

For something that is so obvious such as massive fraud one has to ask is where are the arrests? Barr apparently told the FBI to look into voting irregularities and yet nothing has happened. If there is evidence of fraud then Trump’s lawyers need to produce it in court and that they have failed to do and when questioned claim they don’t have evidence of it.
And the article you mention just says that 2020 was an unusual year. Which should not come as a surprise to anyone and doesn’t demonstrate fraud in any way.
It would be nice if you left-wingers could make an attempt to acknowledge inconvenient facts and stop clinging to your narratives. For my part, I have tried to do that. I acknowledged that mail-in ballots might have enabled the Dems to perfectly harvest their potential voters without fraud. But if so, why is this concentrated in just a few large cities, conveniently in swing states? If you were an honest person, you’d acknowledge that something is wrong there.
The reason that there are no arrests is because the evidence was destroyed during the crime. Are there video recordings of the counting process? No. Is there proper chain of custody evidence for ballots? No. Is there any way to associate the voter registration data with the ballots that have been separated from their outer envelopes? No.
While we can’t expect arrests for crimes where the evidence has been successfully destroyed, it is still very feasible to demonstrate that the results are so far out of the norm that the probability of it being legitimate is miniscule. We can “know” without being able to “prove”.
The only remedy for these crimes is to invalidate the vote in the jurisdictions where the fraud occurred. That is almost certainly not going to happen, because overwhelming statistical evidence is not proof. So it looks like your boys have gotten away with it.

knowing without being able to prove is never going to stand up in court. It is perhaps the definition of religion rather than science. It is worth noting that the results of the election matched the polls in 48 out of 50 states and the surprise of the election was that Trump did so well in Florida compared to the polls. So perhaps you should be looking at potential fraud in Florida for Trump rather than the other way around.
If there was fraud on the scale you suggested then there would be lots of evidence from the sheer size of it. Somebody would have had to get 100 000 ballots, illegally mark them distribute them to various polling centres, make sure that the voting register did not show the same person voted twice etc etc. Any conspiracy that big would have had leakers and somebody would have tipped off the FBI. Plus somehow they would have to have manipulated every poll since February which showed that Trump was losing.
What rubbish! Science is the advancement of hypotheses that can never be proven, only disproven. A hypothesis that predicts an outcome and is not disproven, advances to a theory which after many attempts at disproving may be referred to as a Law. But in science, (unlike in your climastrology religion), nothing can ever be proven. Knowing (provisionally) without proving is the definition of science. Believing without objective evidence is the definition of religion. Proof is for the realm of logic and math.
I’m not sure why I imagined that you would engage honestly. You misrepresent the article from the link I posted, which explains why a massive conspiracy is not required to achieve the fix. It requires a few criminals in four cities to create fraudulent voter registrations and then submit fraudulent ballots for them. They don’t need to know that a fake person didn’t already vote.
There is evidence in the form of eyewitness affidavits and statistical anomalies. I agree that the evidence is not likely to be sufficient to prevail in a court of law. Not because it is not evidence, but because it is not sufficient evidence to “prove beyond a reasonable doubt” (a legal term of art), or because it is not considered admissible evidence for one reason or another. Just as polygraph tests are not admissible evidence in a court case, even though government agencies routinely rely on them to make decisions about people’s veracity, it is most likely not admissible evidence to point to statistical anomalies as a form of evidence in a court case. That doesn’t mean that it is not scientific evidence that should persuade a reasonable person that there was foul play.
But we would be talking about reasonable people.

Currently Biden won the popular vote by over 6 million which is about 4 percent of the votes cast. Given that result why are you surprised that he won the battleground states by a narrow margin? The chances of someone losing the popular vote and winning the electoral college is about 4 percent based on historical averages so given that Biden won the popular vote by a large margin you should expect him to have won in the electoral college as well. There is no statistical anomalies in Biden’s vote. Most media outlets were warning before the election that Trump was likely to get most of votes on election day but that Biden would get significantly more of the postal votes and thus would only emerge as the winner several days after the election which is in fact what happened.
Fraudulent voter registrations are easy to check. All you have to do is knock on the door and ask who lives there. Or check with other governments departments about valid addresses. There would be a clear paper trail of thousands of people who are registered but who don’t exist. In many states and countries anyone can walk up and inspect the voter rolls. So where is the evidence of false registrations?

Izaak Walton, if you are a US citizen, which I’m not, then you don’t understand the method by which a US President is elected. At this time, 25 November, no result has been announced, and will not be announced until the Electoral Colleges meet and declare the winner by democratic votes on December 14, 2020. Only then, will Trump be required to vacate the White House and until then he has the democratic right to challenge the legality of all disputed voted. And well he may lose!

Trump has every right to challenge the legality of the election results. However so far his legal team are failing and appear comically inept, from having a press conference next to a sex shop to having dye run down one’s face. And their cases keep getting thrown out of court. Trump is also apparently using the legal challenges as a means to pay off his election debts since the fine print of the emails sent round asking for money states that over 50% will go towards paying off campaign debts. In Milwaukee a Trump lawyer is trying to disqualify a number of ballots including his own claiming they were cast illegally.
And finally even if the remaining lawsuits are decided in Trump’s favour it still will not change the result. So Trump needs to find some competent lawyers if he wants to get anywhere with his legal challenges. His current ones are failing him and making him look ridiculous.

If Biden takes Office, then the Chicoms will no longer feel political pressure to threaten to attack Taiwan. Biden isn’t going to be signing any defense agreements with Taiwan, and he won’t be selling Taiwan any advanced weaponry, and he won’t be challenging the Chicom claims to the South China Sea, including Taiwan, and he won’t be promoting Taiwan as being separate from China, so the Chicoms can relax.
Taiwan is not a threat to China so the Chicoms have no urgent need to attack Taiwan. They do have an urgent need to prevent Taiwan from gaining independance in the minds of the world, and this causes their threatening attitudes. But if Taiwan is alone, and Biden will make it so, then the Chicoms can take their time incorporating Taiwan into China.
Besides, Taiwan could do considerable damage to the Chinese military if a war were to break out. China doesn’t need that. Taiwan isn’t going anywhere and it looks like favorable winds are blowing in China’s direction. China can afford to sit back and relax and let events unfold now that pressure from Trump is gone.
Trump is one of the few leaders who understands “The Big Picture”. Without someone who understands the Big Picture at the helm, we drift aimlessly, and more likely than not, into a lot of avoidable trouble. No Democrat I know understands the Big Picture.

John Kerry is a bit confused. He thinks the cost of climate inaction “will equal or exceed the current expenditure.” The reality is it that it will be the cost of climate ACTION that will exceed the current expenditure. A more astute analysis would have used the disproportionate pandemic responses (which have had little effect on the outcomes, by the way), as a cautionary tale against taking similarly ill thought out disproportionate action which will cost dearly and have even less impact on “climate change” than the covid responses have had on the pandemic. And that is really saying something.
