All of this chaos is music to the ears of those who don’t like the messiness of human freedom. The WEF’s vision is to crowd us all into urban areas. They want us to own nothing. Mussolini’s definition of Fascism: A national form of socialism. Look it up. So we have socialists who want to nationalize industry, nationalize laws away from states, control the economy directly. Hmmm, seems the ones who are accusing everyone else of fascism are the fascists.
If you read Marx, Engel’s, etc. they really describe three phases of progressing to Communism.
Fascism – govt control of business and capital
Socialism – govt ownership of business and capital
Communism – collective ownership of business and capital
Stalin, Mao, Castro, etc have always shortened the transition into Fascism and Socialism through revolutionary means rather than a gradual transition. The west is seeing today what happens with a gradual transition – and it isn’t any prettier than revolution.
The transition from Socialism to Communism has *never* happened anywhere. Not once. They put forth the trappings of collectivism but it’s always a facade like a movie set in a Hollywood western. Once Socialism sets in it is there to stay – the Bureaucratic Hegemony necessary for the Socialistic government never actually lets go of its power. Not in the Soviet Union, not in China, not in Cuba, not in Venezuela, not anywhere.
Of course collective ownership on any large scale is impossible, so it always gets stuck at government ownership.

I read The Hill daily and a bit back it went from fairly balanced to full woke and Democrat. It is now full progressive. Totally in the pocket of the far left and not trustworthy. So the call for nationalization is not unexpected.
