China Suggests Greta Thunberg is an Ignorant Political Puppet

Guest essay by Eric Worrall

h/t Observa; In response to Greta attacking China’s colossal CO2 emissions, China has responded by suggesting Greta is “short of sufficient academic knowledge study, and lack of sound self-judgment capability”.

China’s response;

Thunberg may lack enough knowledge to correctly understand climate change

China’s annual greenhouse gas emissions in 2019 exceeded those of all developed countries combined, for the first time since national emissions have been measured, according to a new report from the US-based Rhodium Group. When retweeting the news on Twitter on Friday, Swedish teenage climate activist Greta Thunberg commented, “Yes, China is still categorized as a developing nation by WTO, they manufacture a lot of our products and so on. But that’s of course no excuse for ruining future and present living conditions. We can’t solve the climate crisis unless China drastically changes course.” It’s noticeable that Thunberg has not publicly voiced her opinion over Japan’s decision on dumping contaminated water from the Fukushima nuclear power plant into the sea.

The report by the Rhodium Group, which emphasizes that China’s annual emissions exceeded those of all developed countries combined, is prejudiced. Its aim is to impose more responsibility on China. Plus the report seems to have ignored a simple fact that the combined population of the US and the EU, which are mostly developed countries, is still less than that of China.

Thunberg, who at age 15 started skipping school on Fridays for her climate protests, is merely 18 years old this year. She is short of sufficient academic knowledge study, and lack of sound self-judgment capability. Girl like her is prone to be affected or even manipulated by some political forces.

Li said, in a bid to achieve their political intents, some Western political forces manipulate teenagers, treating Thunberg as a political puppet. This practice is unethical and despicable.

I’m shocked at Greta’s attack on China. I thought Xi Jinping’s China is now one of the good guys, thanks to China’s recent commitment to achieve net zero long after all their competitors suffer total economic collapse.

Within the framework of the Big Lie about CO2, Thunberg is correct about China. And China’s response is incredibly hypocritical. Imagine, a red-fascist state who LIES about everything accusing someone of being a puppet, and her attack on them being politically motivated. China pretends to be going along with the Alarmist scam. Thunberg merely outed them on that.

What I would be intrigued about and it happened in Hawaii not so long ago but is happening in Iceland now where you have rivers of lava probably well over 1,000c. It is still retaining that heat even though flowing through snow and ice. It has got to be doing more than humans can ever do even fifty lane highways in China which would do more than Co2.
I really think that the inmates are now running the asylum.

Lava is a red herring. It doesn’t contribute much of anything in terms of the overall energy budget of Earth. Neither do cars for that matter, or cities. Man’s CO2 might contribute some small amount of warming, but it is too small to measure or differentiate among the climate “noise”, and certainly too small to affect climate in any significant way.

They wouldn’t have a clue as to what is happening under the oceans. Recently they discovered I think it was 90 under the West Antarctic shelf.
Without any data don’t tell me it is a red herring. As for cities we wouldn’t have the UHE effect without them.
You can’t tell me that with China building such massive highways where water can’t enter the ground and the surface absorbs so much heat as against a forest that it is not way worse than Co2 would ever be.
You are just running off the mouth saying lava is a red herring.

Man’s CO2 doesn’t contribute any warming, as it’s not an actual source of energy. At best it contributes to the slowing of cooling. but as you rightly point out:

it is too small to measure or differentiate among the climate “noise”, and certainly too small to affect climate in any significant way.

Lu Xue is correct that Greta Thunberg is an easily-manipulated, ignorant puppet.

But when will China honestly tell us the true origin of the Wuhan Flu, and whether it was deliberately created as a biological weapon? I’m not holding my breath!

If it was created as a biological weapon then it’s a pi$$ poor one.
My guess is it was studied in a lab after being harvested from the horseshoe bats, and their shoddy lab protocols let it get out. If you’re going to study stuff like that then step one is to seal the labs damned securely.

But it is very hard to know what something in a lab will do when released to the wild. How many guinea pigs did they have and how long did they have. They may have been under a time limit for release. I myself aren’t convinced by coincidences.

Well we are pretty sure it didn’t come from the wet market but can we be sure the Chinese didn’t release it on purpose as they stopped all internal flights from Wuhan but still allowed international flights to the likes of Italy. They play the game like it is chess so think several moves ahead.

Somebody inside the lab may have released it on purpose rather than accidentally (12 monkeys scenario) but if the Chinese wanted to release a weaponised virus then Hong Kong might have suited them better. Just don’t quite buy that scenario in that location.

Hong Kong might have been too obvious. As I said they play life like a chess game. I don’t think there was anything accidental about it. The timing was too good.

Never thought I’d say it, but in this case I agree with China on this one.

Funny thing is, in this case they are BOTH right.

China has Broken Clocked this one.

A person with average, or even below average, intelligence but 20 years of experience is much more useful within their field than a highly intelligent noob.

Yes the intelligent one can work out a solution from first principles (aka – reinvent the wheel), but the experienced one can much more quickly just say “It’s a wheel. Here’s the link to our supplier”.

Being a child genius doesn’t automatically mean you are better than an adult. It means you are able to better process and manipulate information relative to people of that age. If you haven’t been exposed to the information in the first place (aka EXPERIENCE) then you may not be useful.

Greta however has shown very little evidence that she is smarter than other children of her generation and has made a career out of openly avoiding learning.

I would trust her on opinions on what it is like to be a guest on a multi million dollar racing yacht sailing across the Atlantic and on how best to get other people to manage your Twit account, but very little else.

Will someone tell Greta Thunberg that the Key UN Principle is “Common but Differentiated Responsibilities and Respective Capabilities”?
And the history of this dates from at least the Villach Conference in Austria in 1985.
In short,it was agreed there that when there is a conflict between economic development and environmental responsibilities the former prevail for developing countries.
As Greta recognises,China,India and the 165 developing countries,as Annex11 nations, control the future of carbon dioxide emissions worldwide,(with some 65% of human induced emissions)and as a result there is no intention on their part to prioritise CO2 reductions no matter how many aspirational INDCs they list.
RIP Paris Accord.

I never thought I would agree with anything said by the Chinese government. But they have sure Summarised Greta accurately. If only our governments had been saying that as they should have been a long time ago.

Greta has crossed the line. She will have to be reeled in and instructed that it is only Western nations, and especially the US, that is the target of her outrage, not China.
She’s young. She will be taught, much like those in Hong Kong have been taught to love mother China.

So what if China’s share of CO2 output is increasing and now is greater than all developed countries combined.
California is going to cut back on emissions and fight climate change and will make a huge difference in this battle, no matter how much more CO2 and pollutants China emits. California’s less than 1% of CO2 output in the world and the changes demanded by the Democrats will certainly offset any of China’s gains

Phil O'Sophical

That China is correct about St Greta’s ignorance and unfitness to comment, is a given. But her written output is almost certainly ghost written by her handlers. And you notice that like any self-respecting Leftie, China’s response does not address ‘her’ actual claims; it just says: well, others do bad things too and some, if lumped together, are worse, so how dare you (to coin a phrase.)

As with other countries, all China has to do is suddenly start finding defects in imports from Sweden. That will take care of the matter quickly.
