As one of the little people i can only tug a humble forelock to this fine patrician who fights such a fine battle for the planet. What a hypocritical monster!

Icelandair flies directly to Keflavik International from JFK and Newark. JetBlue also has nonstop service from Logan, in case the Heinz-Kerrys still maintain a residence in Boston.

The hypocrites used to own a charter flight company, and still have at least one long-range private plane.

Will Kerry throw his, or someone elses, private jet over the White House fence?

MarkW, I doubt it will be Kerry to throw a jet over the White House fence because his back is so sore from carrying around all of the hypocrisy.

Funny. The modern “indulgence” is a “carbon credit”. You can sin as much as you want as long you offset it with enough indulgences carbon credits. Because God wants people to be self-indulgent rather than self-disciplined.

So, any time we want to fly anywhere…

All we have to say is that we are doing it to fight climate change.

OK…. I can do that, without getting offset about it.

Unfortunately obviously biased – note Sustainable Development in list on their About page.

Small tribal communities could certainly use less costly energy production, instead of diesel fueled electricity generators and furnaces. Does anyone know of small nuclear sources, such as thermo-electric generation from radioactive decay?

Very small ones exist, including in space craft. Radioisotope thermoelectric generator – Wikipedia.

Apparently the method has very low efficiency, but it seems to me that is not a big barrier as the nuclear source is of low cost. ??

Generating steam to drive a turbine may be much more efficient but that has moving parts.

Billions spent on environmentally induced asthma.

Bullshit, CO2 doesn’t cause asthma.

TonyL
Reply to  Steve Case
February 4, 2021 2:01 am

But it does!
Back in the Obama administration, an administration droid asserted that it does. Now understand that in those days, the God King Obama could do no wrong. So that ever since it is well known that carbon dioxide now causes asthma. This is now Given Wisdom.
Now consider the sprawling bureaucracy of the US federal public health system, including the FDA (Food and Drug Administration), EPA (Environmental Protection Agency), HHS (Health and Human Services), and even CDC (Center for Disease Control).
Not one person has stood up and said that carbon dioxide does *not* cause asthma. Not one. In all these years.
Stop. Think about that.

I have suffered from asthma for most of my fairly long life. I get it if I make the mistake of going into a house where there is a cat. So apparently, it is only CO2 from cats that causes asthma.

Actually , CO2 is a bronchial dilator.

That is why some forms of asthma attack can be alleviated by breathing into a paper bag.

Breathing methods such as the Buteko method, have been shown to increase the CO2 level in the lungs, thus easing bronchial restriction which is one of the major problems associated with asthma.

ResourceGuy
Reply to  Steve Case

It’s indirect.

CO2 causes EPA agenda science to advance and EPA causes asthma to become a go-to talking point no matter what other medical science there is on asthma. Therefore EPACO2 causes asthma. It’s a synthetic molecule that is highly toxic to public policy and real science.

It wasn’t hard to figure out what a scumsucker Kerry was back when it came out that he was putting in for a Purple Heart for such trivial injuries as splinters and ingrown toenails! His behavior was disgraceful and an insult to every recipient who suffered genuine injuries, like loss of limbs, eyesight, and the like. And yet, he got a pass on that too and remains in government!

Welcome to reality. At a certain level above the brainwashed chanting masses, environmentalism is a very lucrative crowd-funded business.

Therefore normal that those involved in it take advantage of amenities available to those heavily busy in doing lucrative business.

Take it’s funding away, educate the crowds, and Mr. Kerry will travel by Greyhound night bus.
