BORIS Johnson is now battling alone on the world stage to save the COP26 climate conference this year as other countries demand it be delayed.

Ministers are reluctant to put the international summit on Zoom instead, meaning a delay for a second year running looks more and more likely.

Government sources stressed they want an in-person and “inclusive” event to bring world leaders together to fight climate change.

But insiders admitted it’s up in the air thanks to rising Covid cases around the world.

A diplomatic source told The Sun: “Britain is increasingly isolated on this front.

“No one in Europe thinks it’s going to happen and the US are increasingly sceptical it can happen without a delay.”

President Biden is hosting a virtual climate summit for Earth Day next week which could pile on more pressure to put it off.

Britain has vaccinated over half the adult population so far, but other countries around the world are lagging behind and seeing another wave of the virus.

It came as climate warrior Greta Thunburg said this week she would boycott the Glasgow event and called for it to be delayed until global jab rates have risen.

But, it’s a climate emergency isn’t it? ………

April 15, 2021 4:02 pm

This climate game is about to lead to war.
This BBC article shows that the “west” is now arrogantly barking orders at China, for instance, to close down all 1000 of its coal power stations which they imbecilically claim is more expensive than intermittents. Yes in a rigged autocratic command economy like the USA or U.K. but not in a free market like China.

https://www.bbc.com/news/science-environment-56761344

The time has come for countries like China and Russia to respond to the west with its imperialistic climate demands by telling them to put the climate agenda where solar panels do not work. To abandon completely the whole idiotic circus of feeble minded catastrophist nonsense.

Then the gloves will come off and the herd muttering and jowl-flapping will turn in the direction of “climate terrorism” and “holding the world hostage” and “the children”. Climate as “causus belli”.

Then will come world war 3. Every environmentalists’ dream come true. Finally a role for the nuclear ☢️ industry who won’t be left out any more. Good times!

Even the majority of idiotic global Leftist leaders are starting to have second thoughts about wasting $10’s of trillions on the stupid CAGW hoax on top of the $10’s of trillions already spent and economic losses incurred from the COVID crisis—the worst economic upheaval since the Great Depression.

Boris Johnson is supposed to be a “conservative”… Not so much…

It is amazing how successful Leftists have been at distorting the English language.

The 7 tenets of the IPCC

  • CO2 is a well-mixed gas in the atmosphere
  • CO2 increases temperature
  • Temperatures will increase by between 1.5 and 5.0 Deg C
  • Storms will become more frequent and more severe
  • Drought will occur more frequently and be more severe
  • Floods will occur more frequently and be more severe
  • Sea levels will rise by meters

The facts show
:

  • There is no empirical evidence CO2 is a well mixed gas in the atmosphere in Glasgow
  • There is no empirical evidence CO2 increases temperature (the correlation is negative, as such the opposite occurs) in Glasgow
  • There is no empirical evidence temperatures have increased in Glasgow
  • There is no empirical evidence of more frequent or severe storms in Glasgow
  • There is no empirical evidence of more frequent or severe droughts in Glasgow
  • There is no empirical evidence of more frequent of severe floods in Glasgow
  • There is no empirical evidence of sea level rise in single or multiple meters it would take 526 years to reach 1m near Glasgow

It is going to be a bit embarrassing for the IPCC to spout their 7 principles when none of them apply to the place they will be holding their conference.

Is it?

well his whole party seems to have gone green…

Here in the UK it is local election time and what do I find as number two headline election promise from local Tory candidates?

‘more LED street lighting, more EV charging points and more solar panels on council property’. Came two promises above fixing the potholes! (a massive local issue)

This in a area which has never had anything but a Tory MP and you could fit the entire Labour vote in a single church hall…

Think you may be a little behind the times – thanks to Keir Starmer you could probably fit the Labour vote into a council flat. Labour really missed a trick by sidelining Emily Thornberry.

A second consecutive year with no IPCC COP meeting would be the best damn thing to come from Covid-19.

Boris Johnson actually growing a spine and getting coal and natural gas back into the electrical generation game is too much to hope for. Greta, an angry, autistic, spoiled Swedish teen ignoramus and her father have him whipped.

The reason the congenital liar and ignorant buffoon that we have as Prime Minister in the UK – and only because the alternative choice in the election was much worse!!! – wants COP26 to go ahead is because he wants to preen and pose and feed his vanity at the event.

Or because the UK as a whole is definitely heading in a green direction?

Figures from March 14th show that, in the UK alone, the current overall pipeline for renewables and energy storage projects stands at 86GW of viable projects, according to Cornwall Insight.

The energy analyst said 40.6GW of the pipeline for England, Wales, and Scotland held a development status of ‘scoping’, with such sites having had a grid connection confirmed with National Grid’s register, but having not yet submitted a planning application.

Around 13GW of the pipeline is currently classified as ‘application submitted’, while sites deemed to be ‘awaiting construction’ stand at a total of 24.5GW, and those under construction total 7.8GW, according to Cornwall Insight.

“We are currently seeing increased activity in sites classified as scoping, with recent developments in the offshore leasing rounds being undertaken by the Crown Estate and Crown Estate Scotland,” explained Cornwall Insight analyst Lucy Dolton. “As such, Cornwall Insight’s Renewables Pipeline Tracker now accounts for these sites in its analysis, helping us assess the potential trends from the next Scotwind Leasing round and future Contracts for Difference (CfD) Allocation Rounds.”

We need to do more than just suspend Cop26, we need end the funding for the IPCC and tear up the Paris Accord.
