Greta is incensed that rich countries are prioritising taking care of their own people, instead of sharing their Covid-19 vaccines with poor countries.

- “Of course I would love to attend the Glasgow COP26. But not unless everyone can take part on the same terms,” Thunberg tweeted Friday.
- Thurberg said inequality was already at the heart of the climate crisis, adding that if people could not be vaccinated and travel to the summit to be equally represented, that would be “undemocratic.”
LONDON — Teenage climate activist Greta Thunberg has said she will not attend the high-profile United Nations climate change summit if current vaccination trends continue.
Thunberg tweeted Friday morning in response to a BBC report which said she had “no plans” to attend the summit, known as COP26, which is due to take place in Glasgow, Scotland in November.
“Of course I would love to attend the Glasgow COP26. But not unless everyone can take part on the same terms,” Thunberg tweeted.
She argued that many countries were vaccinating “healthy young people” against Covid-19 at the expense of higher risk groups and front-line workers in other countries.
Thurberg said inequality was already at the heart of the climate crisis, adding that if people could not be vaccinated and travel to the summit to be equally represented, that would be “undemocratic.”
“Vaccine nationalism won’t solve the pandemic,” Thunberg said, arguing that “global problems need global solutions.”

Greta has no consideration for the millions of working class people in rich countries, whose taxes paid for the vaccines she wants to redistribute.
Of course, if poor countries were rich, they could buy their own vaccines. So what is stopping poor countries from becoming rich?
The best economic analysis of global poverty I have read is P J O’Rourke’s economic treatise “Eat the Rich”. The evidence O’Rourke presents suggests the reason poor countries are poor is they are run by kleptocrats.
You might think some of the politicians who run the US are bad, and there are worrying trends, but the picture O’Rourke painted of the poorest nations was of rulers who never give the green shoots even the slightest chance to grow. In the worst places in the world, as soon as the local thugs in charge notice an accumulation of wealth, they swoop in and steal it, shooting anyone and breaking anything which gets in their way, leaving nothing behind but wreckage and carnage. People in poor countries rapidly learn the hard way that there is no point attracting attention by trying to improve their own lives, because they won’t be allowed to keep the fruits of their labour. Anyone with ambition in such places emigrates or joins the thugs. Or both.
Asia learned how to become rich because for a short time after the abrupt collapse of the Empire of Japan, the organs of government sanctioned theft were in disarray. When British government employee Sir John Cowperthwaite travelled to Hong Kong in the aftermath of WW2, after the Hong Kong people had been left to fend for themselves for a few months, he was so entranced by the beauty of watching poor people sort their own lives out, he dedicated the rest of his career to preventing the British government from intervening in the Hong Kong economy. Cowperthwaite’s policy of strict non-intervention gave birth to the Asian Miracle – an accumulation of wealth so rapid that even today, Hong Kong is richer per capita than Britain.
People in the most insanely deprived circumstances can rapidly accumulate wealth if they get the thieves off their backs. A few years ago I read the heartwarming story of Mesfin Getahun, an Ethiopian living in Kakuma refugee camp in Kenya, who in just a few years made 10s of thousands of dollars; not by preying on his fellows, but by helping to supply their basic needs. At the time Mesfin wanted to emigrate to the USA. I hope he made it; I think he would be an asset for any nation which accepts him.
If Greta wants to help poor people buy vaccines, instead of cheerleading UN sanctioned theft, she should be urging the people of poor countries to go all George Washington on the tyrant thieves who are keeping them poor. Use the money accumulated in the offshore bank accounts of kleptocrats to pay for the health needs of poor countries. Let people in rich countries who have worked hard for their money keep what they have earned – including the right to receive a vaccine which they helped pay for through their taxes.
Maybe if Greta had gone to school a bit more she would know all this.
The Industrial Revolution and all the wealth created from it was NOT the product of Royal Decree or Act of Parliament or any ‘Central Planning’. It was also not the product of colonialism, the patriarchy or slavery. Nearly all empires prior to the British Empire followed a tyrannical model and used similar methods of gaining wealth which usually meant controlling land for food and having sufficient men and horses and having slaves. Man power and horse power were essential. These empires did not become as fantastically wealthy as Great Britain did in such a short time.
Following the restoration of the monarchy, Charles II tried to close down the London Coffee houses as he considered people freely associating without consideration of class or gender seditious. He failed and these institutes allowed the free flow of capital to wherever an investor deemed profitable. Capitalism was one thread. The other two equally or perhaps more important threads were the agricultural revolution followed by the Industrial (engineering and science) revolution, all driven by largely ‘uneducated’ freely associating individuals. Colonialism opened up markets or rather trade routes for some commodities like tea, sugar, spices and cotton, but these are largely luxuries and you need wealth first. Newcomen’s atmospheric engine and then Trevithick’s high pressure steam engines is where the modern world and abundant wealth originates. With the steam engine Great Britain was able to mimic a country of much larger amounts of man and horse power but also expanded this power exponentially as the largely ‘uneducated’ made improvements on improvements. With this wealth it was possible to improve working and living conditions but also spend considerable time and resources eliminating slavery, Thanks to the burning of coal in the new steam engines the Whale was saved from extinction and the large forests of Europe were saved from clear felling and wealth and life expectancy started to improve for all, not just those at the top. Engine power is still measured in horse power.
Greta Thunberg (a non-UK teenager with no qualifications in any profession)
“This ongoing irresponsible behaviour will no doubt be remembered in history as one of the greatest failures of humankind. You lied to us. You gave us false hope. You told us that the future was something to look forward to.
The UK, was very special due to its “mind-blowing historical carbon debt, (a reference to the country’s record as the birthplace of industrialisation). But this was also, because its claims of world-leading progress on cutting emissions are partly the result of “creative accounting” and are belied by the government’s plans for more high-emissions projects.
The UK’s active current support of new exploitation of fossil fuels, like for example the UK shale gas fracking industry, the expansion of its North Sea oil and gas fields, the expansion of airports, as well as the planning permission for a brand new coalmine, is beyond absurd,”
Response from Michael Gove (a UK representative of UK citizens):
“Your voice – still, calm and clear – is like the voice of our conscience, When I listened to you, I felt great admiration, but also responsibility and guilt. I am of your parents’ generation, and I recognise that we haven’t done nearly enough to address climate change and the broader environmental crisis that we helped to create.”
But Who wants to be in Glasgow in november ???
Is that a promise?
Has the Greta-monster copyrighted “How dare you!” yet?
i will try to struggle on without the presence of St. Greta and her abusive handlers…
If Greta was better educated, she might understand that capitalism is the only true democracy, where people vote for or against things of their own self interests with their own dollars.
I truly love the way people think the “vaccines” that are not vaccines are the best thing in the world. They are all Gene Therapy and J&J and AstraZeneca are the most efficient at altering your DNA. Why on Earth would anyone want Gene Therapy for a 99.8% survival rate flu-type virus? This is insane.
But, standing on her virtue box, Greta thinks, almost demands that everybody be gene-altered to be fair and equal.
She has fallen for the bait and the scam and thinks she has the moral high ground, when, in fact, she is acting as a shill for the globalists pushing this scamdemic.
“She… “, ” Greta …”She … “Greta …” ….
There is no Greta saying anything. She’s an abused manikin reading off a script.
And by the way, i hope all the delegates find some excuse to not attend. Arrests perhaps ? My country’s Government (Canada) has an established habit of sending more guests, and bureaucrats to these fake CO2 climate change conferences than any other country except the host nation. At taxpayer expense of course. And, on a combination of dozens of private, and commercial jet planes. Burning more fossil fuels in one round trip, than than my family could use in thirty generations to stay warm. And, spending their time mainly munching jumbo shrimp, swilling expensive champagne, and congratulating each other on their progress at destroying western economies.
I wonder how many authentic climate authorities will be boycotting this important scientific conference about climate………….because of a beef that they have with COVID vaccine distribution.
Answer: zero

Answer: 1
Would they consider cancelling the conference if she does not show up with a written speech?
Naive sociology 101 notion that Asia blossomed economically because they were ridded of thugs/kleptocrats that were on their backs! They were handed an economy by America and it was embellished by Europe jumping on the train.
Sociology was terminally hijacked more than half a dozen decades ago by kleptocrat/thug marxbrothers. Gee, let’s not give any credit to the economic engine of the world – America. Even now with both hands tied behind their backs by Dem kleptocrat thugs, they stand up above the competition. I know the numbers argument will be brandished but giving 1.5B people 1000 each bucks doesn’t a bristling GDP make. Freedom, fair play free enterprise supporting governance, that’s the rub, although half of America now finds kleptokrat thuggery attractive.
It would seem that the ‘Climate Messiah” has switched causes.
But still has the same goal.
(Or her puppeteers still do.)
The goal never changed. the “climate cause” was never the goal in the first place, just a means to reach the goal.
If she doesn’t show the downside is …. ?
….[thinking… thinking…] ……. OK. I got nuttin’.
Good article.
Too bad she has not learned about self reliance and responsibility however she would have gone to the school that teaches that over socialism. And perhaps a little history.
Some if not most of the poor countries went to great lengths, including armed revolt, to remove colonial powers from their soil. The same powers that installed modern infrastructure of roads, bridges, electrical and sewage and buildings. And improved the economies with mining, agriculture and commerce.
According to Greta it is OK to want the benefits of the modern world and not want the people of the modern world.
This little twirp must think she is really important.
As we say in Germany:
Greta ay stay where the pepper is growing 😀
I would suggest an alternate plan with a protest march at a Chinese coal mine and power plant. Just remember to tell security at the airport or seaport dock that you are not carrying any frozen imported seafood where the CCP claims COVID19 came from.
Stupid Mouthpiece can’t even think for herself
This girl has wheeled way more social muscle than is warranted. She is a product of the media hype and as long as they seek her opinion, I guess she will treated as a prophet, knowing what is best for all of us.
What difference does it make whether she’s there or not? When you examine the records of past climate conferences, you find they never accomplish much beyond vague promises to do this, that or whatever to save the planet. Then after a few years pass you find most of the signatories fall short of their targets anyway; and since there are no penalties for this, the whole business proves to be nothing more than another gabfest most of which is funded by taxpayers. Besides, since the pandemic is probably unlikely to be under control by November, the meeting are likely to be postponed again, and who cares?

They call her Thunberg because 10% of her Thun is above the waterline.
Well, some will be ecstatic about her absence, but organizers will miss their PR Brat.
