Creepy Children’s Climate Video: What if Humans Disappeared?

Guest essay by Eric Worrall

h/t Dr. Willie Soon, The Gateway Pundit; Be very careful what your kids watch. The first few minutes of the following educational children’s video seems harmless enough. But then it slowly morphs into radical green propaganda for children, inferring climate entrepreneurs Bill Gates and Elon Musk are as important as superheroes, the benefits of green communism, and how wonderful it would be for all the cute animals if humans disappeared (though they would miss the free food).

If you want to skip forward after watching the first few seconds, Bill Gates appears at 3.29, Elon Musk at 4:49. “What if humans disappeared?” 8:49. Solar panels 9:55, 11:07 Psychic powers, 14:27 Green Communism. Barf bag recommended.

The YouTube channel about page claims We try our level best to create highly creative and refreshing videos of Science. AumSum seems to be a very popular children’s educational channel, YouTube states all the videos on the channel have been viewed a total of 596,149,611 times since the channel was created in 2014. There is more information about the channel on a fan site.

Why watch such a video in its entirety? Because if you only watched the first few minutes, you would have no idea how polarised the rest of the video is. Going by the channel views, millions of parents trust AumSum, they sit their kids down in front of an AumSum every week, likely thinking the kids are watching harmless, thought provoking educational cartoons.

The main takeaway for me – always watch children’s educational videos right to the end, before you expose your kids to them, or sit down and watch with your kids with your finger poised over the pause button. Because otherwise you have no idea what kind of ideas the the educational videos your kids are watching might attempt to plant in their impressionable little minds.

The video is nonsensical in that regard — as though all their wealth would disappear with them. Sorry, no. All their wealth would continue to exist, their foundations would continue to exist, their publicly-held companies would continue to exist. Ridiculous.

The Australian Broadcasting Corporation is woke on steroids compared with that.

It should help Musk maintain his position at the top of the pile. It appears he is ranked above Superman in the pecking order of super heroes.

Here’s how this would go:

Any post about Biden being an absolutely fabulous human being with the utmost integrity and blah blah blah …… 100

Any post about normal Americans wanting prosperity, kids and even a lawn ….. 0 for those deplorable, white supremacist trash, climate-denying Trumpsters

This just proves how diseased the minds of the Left have become. Sowing the seeds of self hate is NOT educational. It’s child abuse, leading to early high rates of child suicide, despair and drug usage not to mention gender dysphoria (because connected with such indoctrination is the idea that male privilege has caused “climate change”)

February 14, 2021 8:47 pm

I understand that the video is nonsense, but… There are far worse things out there that can influence a child or adult. The media, the teacher, friends and authority play a big part in peoples lives and you have little influence in changing that. Actually, you can change things for your child by chaining them in a closet for a number of years. From what I’ve heard that is not a good thing. Just be grateful they don’t grow up to be a prostitute, gangsta, drug addict or some gender fluid entity. If you can’t short-circuit some of the stuff they are exposed to then you’re an idiot that should have kept your privates private.

It has certainly been known since the Greeks, particularly Athens, the art of indoctrinating young children, but it was perfected to a science by Ignatius Loyola in the 1530s when he founded the Jesuit Order (a teaching order).

Give me a child till he is seven years old,’ said St Ignatius Loyola, ‘ and I will show you the man. ‘

In the 16th century Loyola had few visual and teaching aids but managed to reprogram his charges away from their parental training with comparative ease. Think what he could have done with films, cartoons and nearly non stop control from infancy and children with only limited contact with often only one parent (and sadly, even more often the more accommodating female parent). I agree with your assessment that only hands on parenting probably with both a father and a mother could offset such well planned indoctrination. However such couples are few and far between … many probably believing this film is great.

Reply to  Rory Forbes
February 15, 2021 12:29 am

It is a mistake to think people like Loyola had no mass media. I remember as a child we could make one dirty cartoon, or reams of jokes, from a waxpaper copy printer (lithographs?) circulate the entire neighbourhood in two days, …and everyone remembered every detail. Loyola had woodcuts and town criers and priests repeating words and normalising ideas from the hights of divine appointment. And nobody threw away anything as important as a printed page in 1980, just think how they looked after hand-written copies in the year 1180! Loyola and co sure had mass media, believe me.
Even the Protocols of Zion explicitly describes the use of mass media as a tool to disseminate Bolshevik propaganda as Truth.

Aw shucks … you’ve found me out.

Childish. Very childish. This is the kind of discussion you have with teenagers who dont understand how the world works.

February 15, 2021 12:47 am

Repetition is the key. It will help little to watch one or two videos with your kids and a pause button. Every movie, every news report, every advertisement, every fashion page, every toy comes with a reminder that we humans are worthless consumers of scarce resources.
People think magic does not exist, while the satanic incantations roll over them in a never-ending stream. Then we wonder why our sons have become afraid of their own totties, and our pre-teen daughters practice pole dancing and strip teasing, swinging their cute little baby-fat asses to the beat of the latest pop song glorifying prostitution as a “viable career choice”.
For a fee, an Inyanga in Africa will put a death-curse on anyone you wish, and it very often works, even on “civilised” folk. There is one rule, though: If the target does not know about the curse, it does not work. Our children are being told how cursed they are, over and over and over…

What if human disappeared- indoor animals would mostly die, domesticated animals would run wild – cats and dogs would annihihlate all small mammals, sheep, goats would ravage undergrowth in temperate areas, pests would go crazy more malaria, more weeds… the climate would mostly doing what it does.

My first thought was “Gee! I and my sister used to play games like that before we started at school”.

Then, as it went on and on, I thought “How boring!”

In the end, once the whole thing was over, I thought I can imagine the kids latching on to the idea of “What if [fill inis space] disappeared?” and get carried away in the succeeding smart suggestions.

I thought I could make much more convincing childish propaganda.

Many parents use the electronic babysitter (pick a device, any device….) with no idea of what their little darlings are being exposed to. They are far too busy chasing the holy dollar and keeping up with the Joneses. Maintaining their lifestyle is too important to allow children to interfere, they only exist to be used as fashion accessories.

Sigh. Yet another example of how out of touch this website is. Why? Oh, because in the last 10-20 years cable TV has produced whole series of this “after humans” content and at the time they were popular. More are in the works, so what this site is saying is that it’s been completely out of touch with modern culture for more than 10 years. I knew there was a reason I’ve asked others to remove this from their blogroll or aggregator. And some have, and more will.
Sorry but when you’re this out of touch you have no place in the conversation. You’re a stumbling block that we keep having to remember is there otherwise it really screws us up with its dumbness.
Please, go dark. Catch up. Then join us, the spectators, because that’s where you belong. Not in the spotlight, but here among real people– the average, normal people who have at least some clue what’s been going on over the last decade.

You live up to your backwards name.

The difference between the “after humans” series and this propaganda, is the the former doesn’t paint humans as an evil blight on the planet, and make children feel guilty for being alive. At least not the ones I watched.

You’re not much of a spectator.

Many of the animated children’s movies are activist green propaganda.

Animals are depicted as equal or better than humans in intellect, wisdom and emotions.
Several films make anthropomorphic stars out of animals key to supplying meats to humans, e.g. Ferdinand – beef and steers, maliciously portraying bull fights.
Charlotte’s Web, anthropomorphically shows farm animals as equal/better than humans.

There are upsides to communism, at least as they’ve portrayed it: Funny how they show people “with real passion” leaving their boring jobs becoming singers, musicians, and artists.

Without money, people would have to barter, like for food. I don’t see world with a glut of “people following their passion” being able to barter for a lot of food.

The upside is that our current oversupply of social justice warriors would be lost to starvation almost immediately.
