The brave, hard-hitting journalists over at CNN are hosting a town hall Thursday evening on Coronavirus: Facts and Fears. Our First Amendment warriors are only bringing viewers the best of experts, such as former CDC Director Richard Besser, former HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, and … teenage climate activist Greta Thunberg.
You literally cannot make this stuff up. This would be a masterful parody. It could have been one of the Babylon Bee’s finest works. Yet no, this is actually the reality of CNN in 2020.

The same liberal journalists who have scolded people for so much as questioning the wisdom of the federal government’s top coronavirus experts, such as Dr. Anthony Fauci and Dr. Deborah Birx, are now literally telling people to get their scientific analysis from Greta Thunberg.

This is CNN: Because when I’m in need of factual, scientific and actionable information regarding a global pandemic, I want to hear it from a teenage high school dropout.

She can’t finish school but she is an expert in anything she lays her eyes on. I once read the creation myth of the Sung dynasty in North Korea. It’s written there that as a small child Kim Jong Il astounded his professors and they begged to be educated by his brilliant mind. He instantly became the best expert worldwide in anything that struck his fancy and grown academics just marveled at the brilliance of a small child. In Sweden they have Johan Gieseche, Anders Tegnell and some others great scientists who could give a very interesting and factual insight on this epidemic, as far as it can be from fear and idioty.
So CNN invited Greta.
Well, this could be dangerous. Greta is mighty good at giving impassioned speeches from scripts but, if she is sitting on a panel and has to answer real questions in real time, she could fumble. Remember how Ronald Reagans’ handlers were careful never to put him in a situation where he would have to respond to unexpected questions? Same thing might apply here.
My guess is that Greta Thunberg is just about the most sheltered teenager on the planet Earth. No one can get near here who is not devoted to propping up her sense of herself as a noble savior and a savant. When I was seventeen, anybody who wanted to tell me I was a fool was so allowed, which is why I became (marginally) less foolish as I got older.
Incidentally, should anyone here wish to tell me I’m an idiot, fire away. I am now wise enough with age to understand that you might be right.

A Greta Thunberg song for better singers than myself:- The tune is to Dayenu, that very catchy Jewish Passover song. Apologies to any Jews who might take offence. If you are that prissy/sissy, stop reading now and grow up. Jewish readers can sing it to themselves since we were deprived of Passover this year.
