h/t Breitbart; The governor of inclusive California only wants ideas and feedback from people who agree with him.
This response was triggered by a series of tweets from President Trump, criticising California’s management of wildfires.
I suspect we have all the information we need to understand why California is such a mess. Politicians who only want to hear from those who agree with them don’t learn by their mistakes.
Even Reuters thinks Governor Newsom needs to look beyond blaming climate change, to address California’s wildfires.
This is not the first time California’s utterly inadequate forest management has been criticised. Late last year Governor Jerry Brown quietly made efforts to ease logging restrictions and improve forest management, while publicly maintaining the fiction that the forest fires had nothing to do with his administration’s regulatory incompetence.
Based on this year’s wildfire disaster, I’m guessing that more efforts to ease restrictions and encourage competent forest management are required.

Trump is going to crush the Democrats in the next12 months, like nothing that has ever been seen before. Climate change is going to be the least of their problems. That’s it right there: climate change literally is the least of all the problems faced by humanity right now. Forget trying to figure out the answers: the key to the problem is asking the right questions. When you get the Q right, everything else is taken care of.
You don’t see close to the level of burn in other states… – very true where I am, here in the Middling West. Very true. If the DNR did not do prescribed, controlled burns to eliminate invasive plants and get rid of junk like buckthorn (invasive plant), we’d be living in a tangle worse than any jungle ever dreamed of.
Newsom is a braindead twit. If he gets recalled, he deserves it, but unless the majority of voters are people who lost everything in this latest go-round of wildfires, it’s likely his pandering to the Cagwers and warmunistas and street bums will continue ad nauseum.
Just as God punished wickedness the with the flood.
Just as Noah built the Arc to save the world.
Just as Don Quixote saw evil everywhere.
Just as he tilted at windmills.
Gavin sees the evil of the climate crisis
And builds windmills while shouting “the end is near!”
What is the meaning of the word “believe” in this context?
I believe that some 120,000 years ago the climate was about 12 degrees F. warmer than it is today. I believe that about 20,000 years ago the area where Chicago is presently located was covered by a mile thick layer of glacial ice. I believe that as recently as 12,000 years ago mammoths were flash frozen in Siberia with green plant matter still in their stomachs. I don’t deny that from 1408 to 1814, the River Thames froze so solidly that in 26 years a frost fair was held on the river.
I don’t deny that Anasazi settled in the Mesa Verde region of the American Southwest about 1,600 years ago to practice subsistence farming. The climate in the region slowly became much more dry. By the end of the 13th century, the population collapsed. I don’t deny any of this.
I accept and believe this indicates the climate is changing and always will be changing. Does this somehow disqualify me from voicing my opinion on the matter like concluding that the wildfire debacle in California is was far more caused by poor forest and water management policies over decades and poor power line clearing practices than it was caused by an change in climate.
What is the CO2 “footprint” of forest fires? Burning fossil fuel or living trees both emit CO2.
Burning trees is carbon neutral don’t you know, just ask Drax
The Governor doesn’t believe dry tinder on forest floors leads to increased fires. He is excused from the conversation and any other conversation that involves logical arguments.
Californians believe you can control wildfires and reduce sea levels by installing wind turbines and solar panels. They’re nuts.
Who is really in charge in California and what are their plans that disasters are happening in many areas of the state from high taxes, misuse of water, non management of forests to misery in the street to suing and overregulating the power companies and the attack on farming. And the lawlessness of government in crime and immigration.
Whatever the plans are more important than the people. And who in public service or employ can be that arrogant.
You don’t believe in climate change. You are excused from this conversation
the governor doesn’t believe in reality, so should be excused from any position that requires making decisions of any kind.
Perhaps the governor of CA can solve a mystery. How can climate change or global warming ignite a fire?
Who doesn’t support the President when he suggests that no more federal money should be given to California?
And when will those car and fuel standards be revoked so we can afford new cars again?
You think there are more than two genders. You are excused from the Human race.
A couple of quotations can provide some perspective.
Much needed:
“Most men only care for science so far as they obtain a living from it, but they will worship error when it affords them a living.”
–Goethe.
And then there are the control freaks:
“The people want someone to frighten them and make them shudderingly submissive.”
–Adolf Hitler
Trump :
“I was with the President of Finland and he said we have — much different — we are a forest nation. He called it a forest nation,” Trump said. “And they spend a lot of time on raking and cleaning and doing things, and they don’t have any problem. And when it is, it’s a very small problem. So I know everybody’s looking at that to that end.”

Sycophants wanted to help fill the numbers needed to consensus the utopia into our delusions.
Let Gavin and the Sierra Club continue to manipulate the people of California unobstructed and finger point when things don’t work out. Send more moving vans though. There’s an acute shortage for the exodus.
Climate Believers hate humanity, and therefore are excused from the human race.
They’re transhumane, notably Pro-Choice, selective, opportunistic.
Translation:
How dare you!
You think California’s environ-mental policies that prevents clearing dead brush from beneath power lines and people’s personal property creates a fire hazard! You think forbidding cutting dead trees out of the forest so spotted owls won’t be forced to nest in Kmart signs might have something to do with forest fires!
How dare you!
The science is settled.
How dare you imply Man might have something to do with the fires!
CO2 causes fires! It doesn’t put them out! It makes them worse!!!!
(I think I’ll ban CO2 fire extinguishers. That should help.)
Sod climate change – Donald Trump is excused from any and all conversations on anything as he is as thick as two short planks, woefully and wilfully ignorant on any subject apart from the genius and utter brilliance of Donald Trump, and is the United States Gross National Product.
Muricans – this is how the rest of the world now sees you: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lyHSjv9gxlE
#OneTermTrump – 442 days and counting.
Who cares about what the rest of world thinks about freedom?
I’d prefer we preserve what’s left of what 1776 was all about.
You disagree?
You’re free to do so.
See you at the voting booth.
(Desperate “Kangaroo courts” before Ginsberg is no longer on the SCOTUS are not a voting booth.)
Better not see him at the voting booth, it’s clear from his post that he is not an American citizen, as such his being at the voting booth would be a violation of US voting laws.
As for what the rest of the world think? Who flipping cares. They don’t have our interests at heart, only their own, so why the heck should we care what they think. Just like they need not care what we think of them.
