Rock hard stupidity.
As he keeps on saying: “The evidence is there”, in his speech…
Who needs an interview with that sock puppet? He could just send in recording saying the same things because there is obvious a vacuum between his ears and he has no ability to do anything but spout the party line over and over and over.
With the use of Zoom could she interview Nick Stokes?
That guy is so pitiful.
i watched the interview twice. best 14 minutes i have ever spent. hey u.s. news media, pay attention.
what is really notable here is that the interview/slap-down lasted over 6 minutes. this allowed enough time for the guy to spew all the lies, propaganda and talking points at once. and ms. brewer called him out on every single one. this expanded interview format is key to educating the general public not only with climate but many other topics.
here in the u.s. an interview like this will last about 90 sec. with out challenge, then straight to commercial break. in fact, the format is the same whether the subject is a denier or believer.
real meaningful amounts of time, in prime time are needed to expose the truth. as great of a job wuwt does, its value is not realized by the masses simply because we are not in their faces. not dissing this site, everything has limits.
it isn’t only the exposure of of science, truth, facts and data that will educate the masses, it is the format.
it only takes a moment to believe a lie, it takes time to learn the truth.
LOL. Poor Luke got quite a shellacking from Julia. One wonders if they really believe the nonsense they spout. He sounded rather robotic.
Luke Murphy has evidently not carefully read the IPCC reports as well as the “political“ summary, noticed the differences and asked which is more likely to be correct. I would have told him to go and do his homework and then to come back to discuss the questions.
The IPPR is the Institute for Public Policy and Research. Luke seems not to know very much about climate.
WOW, who is she. What a dynamo.
Julia works for a national radio station with a growing following.
She’s a proper journalist who gives everyone a hard time no matter what their beliefs are.
I have a parrot that at least makes up his own words. (unlike him)
She was useless. She obviously doesn’t understand much about climate, nor about extremes. She’s regularly on TV in the UK. Sometimes she says sensible things but she was way out of her depth on climate change here. To be fair, he wasn’t much better!
Extremes? Another overworked adjective from the climate change doom mongers. It seems that every time we get a spell of hot weather or prolonged rain here in the UK, it’s ‘extreme’ weather. Utter drivel.
This guy is an alleged policy “expert,” but has no understanding of the facts that he claims form the basis for his policy positions. He is arguing from a vacuum, and she kneecapped him.
My goodness the force is strong in that one. Nothing but talking points. Consensus and bs statements. Maddening
Even Julia was having trouble keeping up with the deluge of lies. It must be very difficult and frustrating to try and interview someone who lies every sentence or two (I guess we could ask those who have interviewed people like Obama and Brandon).
My cousins across the ‘Ditch’ (the Tasman Sea) would call this bloke a “Drongo!” “Dumber than dirt!” When it comes to drinking too much of the Kool Aid, this bloke’s a guzzler!! The interviewer was absolutely priceless with both her reactions, and her on point comments. More power to Julia Hartley-Brewer. The world needs lots more of people like her, and an awfully lot less of those of the ilk of, ‘he who shall not be named.’
‘Flooding in Yorkshire, coastal erosion in Norfolk, heatwaves’?
This is all perfectly normal here in England – if in doubt. read the book by Robin Stirling ‘The Weather of Britain’:

and look here:

I live in the UK, I’m 74 years old and have lived here for all of those years. To suggest that the climate here has changed is laughable.
Luke Murphy really should start doing some reading and question the climate change nonsense instead of parroting the party line.
Am I concerned about ‘climate change’? Not in the slightest!
He’s the same as all the talking heads that sprout up for these talk fests every few years. Talks a lot but doesn’t actually say anything.
As the old saying goes.
All sound and fury signifying nothing.
