We’ve been working with the GETTR team to enable automatic posting for web sites, such as ours.
They have been wonderful and supportive and, as of yesterday, automatic posting is now enabled.
There is no way to know if GETTR will be successful or not, but as the clamor for media and social media censorship continues, they are trying to provide alternatives.
We would appreciate sign ups and follows on this relatively new platform. I wish to extend an open hand to all our detractors to also come over and follow there, so, with luck, the new free speech platforms will not evolve into boring echo chambers.

Like and share the posts on the new platform. Since we’ve been limited and shadow banned on Facebook and Twitter for years, it will be interesting to see if we can generate real organic growth.

A few minutes ago I posted that I couldn’t find a means of following WUWT on GETTR. I have now disovered the cause of the problem: the follow button had been eaten by my ad blocker.
Oh well my info might help a noob anyway
the only true free speech platform because they own their own servers is gab.com but gettr.com a vast improvement over legacy social media but they operate on the giant techcos infrastructure.
congrats to wuwt for joining the revolution and consider a relationship with gab.com as well.
video sharing sites rumble, bitchute and odysee to name a few are alternaives to youtube.

Anyone that hosts an APP will be subject to constraint by the app platforms – so Google and Apple can boot you whenever (remember when that happened to Parler?).
A platform that has a web interface is pretty much the only way around that.
I had been debating joining GETTR. This flipped me into the “do it” camp.
Following WUWT and Willis on there.
Just in passing, Gab is ok too. You have to give it a few days to identify the obnoxious people you never want to hear from, block them, then it’s pretty good.
I have signed up with Gettr and followed WUWT.
BTW, I have also started looking at Rumble any time I need video content instead of instinctively going to Youtube. I also exclude Youtube in searches “(-Youtube)”. Obviously they don’t have the same amount of content, but give it time.
This isn’t even a political thing. It’s pro-free-speech and anti-CCP. We have to do our part, no matter how small.

I don’t have a cell phone. No Twitter ever. About 5 years ago I did have a Facebook account for about a month.
But a lot of people do both. (I do look at YouTube but not for Climate or Politics. Sports, movie clips, do it yourself type stuff, etc.)
If WUWT gets on other platforms where a search just first returns the website without a “warning” or “Hotdumper” or “TheSmog”, that’s good.
If you’re banned censored on Twitt and Fakebook, why bother keeping their links on your site?
