We’ve covered the climate grift in several recent episodes, but now it’s time for a deeper dive. This week, The Heartland Institute published a new paper titled The High Cost of Climate Scams: Assessing the Green Giveaways in the Inflation Reduction Act. This law was never meant to fight inflation—it was designed to funnel hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars into the pockets of politically connected “green” businesses and pop-up nonprofits. Did we say hundreds of billions? The real price tag is closer to $2 TRILLION.
The Heartland Institute’s Anthony Watts, Sterling Burnett, Linnea Lueken, and Jim Lakely will dig deeper into the greatest scam in history. We will also cover the Crazy Climate News of the Week, including Bill Nye lying about how wildfires in South Carolina “didn’t use to be a thing,” Michael Mann suffering another humiliating loss in court, and why God hates wind turbines.

High Cost of Climate Scams…
It’s another bad day to be Ed Miliband.
…
Despite Labour’s pledging £8.3 billion for GB Energy in its manifesto, now neither the Treasury nor DESNZ will guarantee the cash.

BP Scrap Major Hydrogen Plans For Teeside | NOT A LOT OF PEOPLE KNOW THAT
For US tax paying families, just one Fed agency, EPA, for one year wasted 20B tax dollars. Most of that money went to Democratic (Obama and Biden) staffers, donors or part leaders fronted organizations. Worse, many of these organizations appear to have been created just to collect their shares of this Inflation Reduction Act fund.
There are 84.2 million families in the United States, that’s over $237 per family, and I’ll repeat that’s only one Fed Agency for one year. The High Cost of Climate Scams is only just being identified and calculated.
The number used in the discussion was $1.8 Trillion wasted or disappeared in the IRA. That’s $21,400 per family.
Or “The number used in the discussion was…” 10 to 20T dollars for 10 years. Doing the math gets ridiculous. DOGE finding $1T/year gets less and less ridiculous.
I was wondering how long it would take. Thanks to Bill Nye, I no longer have to wait for the recent fires to be blamed on climate change.
