Climate Depot’s Marc Morano: “Congratulations to President Trump and Sen. J.D. Vance. Finally, US leadership has returned to fight the international climate agenda. The U.S. will finally have a president back in the Oval Office who will be pro-science, pro-environment, and fight the demented net zero climate agenda, the Green New Deal, and the UN climate treaty process.
President Trump will also be able to face off against the ridiculous, unsustainable, and unscientific claims that emanate from our most esteemed institutions. America will once again be a beacon of scientific realism regarding climate change and energy policy. Bravo!”

Trump has vowed to increase U.S. production of fossil fuels by easing the permitting process for drilling on federal land and would encourage new natural gas pipelines. He has said he would reauthorize oil drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge in Alaska.
Whether the oil industry follows through and raises production at a time when oil and gas prices are relatively low remains to be seen.
He has said he will again pull the United States out of the Paris Climate Accords, a framework for reducing global greenhouse gas emissions, and would support increased nuclear energy production.
He would also roll back Democratic President Joe Biden’s electric-vehicle mandates and other policies aimed at reducing auto emissions.
He has argued that the U.S. needs to be able to boost energy production to be competitive in developing artificial intelligence systems, which consume large amounts of power.

The U.S. presidential election has massive consequences for the climate change agenda. CFACT will be on the ground again this year following the UN’s every effort to squelch your freedom and continue the dark path of net-zero rationing of energy, food, freedom of movement, and free speech. The CFACT team traveling to Azerbaijan will be led by veteran UN experts Craig Rucker — who has attended 26, and Marc Morano, who will be attending his 20th out of the past 29 international UN summits.
Azerbaijan is the third petro-state in a row to host the COP summit, with Egypt, and Dubai the previous two years. This year’s summit is being dubbed the “finance COP” because climate and green energy lobbyists are descending on the event to try to funnel even more U.S. taxpayer money into their pockets.
CFACT’s Marc Morano, who runs Climate Depot, commented:
“With Donald Trump winning the US presidential election, the United Nations COP29 will turn into a giant wake, with the United Nations facing defeat of their anti-human climate agenda. The entire climate agenda is facing utter and complete collapse due to its unrealistic mandates and targets. Failure across the board is occurring, from emission targets to anemic electric vehicle sales to pushback by farmers fighting back against agricultural climate restrictions. A Trump victory will help push the United Nations and its net zero agenda into the dustbin of history. I will be on the ground with other team members to report daily on what’s happening post-election at one of the most consequential UN climate summits.”
| American Energy Alliance’s Statement on President Trump’s Victory |
WASHINGTON DC (11/06/2024) – According to AP News, President Donald J. Trump has been declared the winner of the 2024 presidential election. A major theme of President Trump’s campaign was his intention to promote policies that make energy and electricity more affordable for everyday Americans. The American Energy Alliance endorsed candidate Trump.American Energy Alliance President Thomas Pyle issued the following statement on President Donald J. Trump’s victory in the 2024 presidential election:“Congratulations to President Donald J. Trump on his election victory. Throughout his campaign, President Trump expressed his unabashed support for American energy. He promised to embrace domestic oil and gas production, lower energy and electricity prices, and undo the inflationary Biden-Harris Green New Deal policies, especially the wasteful taxpayer funded subsidies in the so-called Inflation Reduction Act. That’s because President Trump understands that affordable and reliable energy is critical to our economic well-being and our national security. “We look forward to working with President Trump to unleash our energy potential, preserve the right for Americans to choose the types of cars and trucks that best suit our needs, and unwind the Biden-Harris administration’s regulatory onslaught on American energy producers.” |
For possibly the first time, I hope Bernie is right.
What a sellout, he was beating Genocide Joe and then withdrew. I wonder how much he or his family got paid. Effn grifter.
It would have been a true farce if Kamala had won. She only carried 18 states while Trump carried 32
Actually, she got 19 states (California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, Washington) plus Washington DC, which has 3 Electoral votes.
Trump got 31 states and won the popular vote, which really ticks them off.
Got to love those 1 percenter socialists.
Aren’t socialist leaders usually part of the 1%ers!? Just look at Maduro and Chavez in Venezuela; Castro, and his brother and daughter in Cuba; and his son, Justin of Canada!
The US buys Chinese goods. China buys Russian oil. Russia use the oil money to make war in Ukraine. US gives arms to Ukraine.
Somehow everyone makes money off this except the US taxpayer..
US buys Chinese goods with printed money. US taxpayer works to make arms making enough money to buy all of these Chinese goods. Some US taxpayers even make blood money on stock market with military stock.
As money is just an equivalent of human labor, anybody who works, should be somehow compensated. The question is whether US taxpayer or anybody else in the chain is compensated fairly or not. I suspect, that considering that US prints a lot of the money, US taxpayer is probably compensated OK.
Nope. Why do you think all of that effort to raise minimum wage happened? Why do we keep hearing about underserved communities, economic zones, etc.
The point is, the US taxpayer is probably compensated, yes, but not “OK.”
Your “nope” implies that US taxpayer works hard and deserves to be compensated better. I am not so sure about generalizing this. If US is a democracy, US taxpayer should be held responsible for society investment decisions. The perils of US taxpayer have multiple mostly self inflicted causes, including the green scam. Majority of the society problems can be attributed to poor investment decisions.
The efforts to raise minimum wage reflect inflation. Inflation is the result of spending on less productive, unproductive or outright destructive activities instead of more productive alternatives. More money in circulation with less goods produced equals inflation. This goes back to investment decisions, who makes them in whose interest.

Trump Was Right About the Deep State!
.
Remember when he said Drain-the-Swamp. It’s a deep swamp!!!
This is why the Deep State manipulated you to hate him. He is a threat, not to Democracy, but to them!!
You must know some details to be informed:
.
THE GOVERNOR OF MICHIGAN USED TO WORK FOR GEORGE SOROS.
CALIF GOV. GAVIN NEWSOM IS NANCY PELOSI’S NEPHEW
ADAM SHIFF’S SISTER IS MARRIED TO ONE OF GEORGE SOROS’ SONS.

.
THIS IS WHAT YOU CALL A “STACKED DECK”. IF YOU HAD A HUNCH THE CORPORATE NEWS MENU WAS SOMEWHAT RIGGED AND YOU COULDN’T PUT YOUR FINGER ON IT, THIS MIGHT HELP YOU SOLVE THE PUZZLE.
.
Now you know why no one is investigated. They all have their hands in the cookie jar!
You might remember James Comey who investigated the Clinton email scandal and the Clinton Foundation, and made the final decision to not recommend prosecution by the DOJ.
It turns out that the Clinton Foundation was audited by the law firm DLA Piper, a powerhouse in DC
One of the executives there was in charge of the Clinton Foundation audit.
Who was it? Peter Comey, James Comey’s brother.
Peter Comey held an executive position with the Washington law firm that did the audit of the Clinton foundation in 2015.
Peter Comey was officially DLA Piper “Senior Director of Real Estate for The Americas in 2015 when the Clinton Foundation scandals first broke, and Hillary was preparing her Presidential campaign.
Not only was DLA Piper, the firm where Comey’s brother worked, involved in the audit of the Clinton Foundation, but according to the foundation’s donor records, DLA Piper has given between $50 – 100k to the Foundation.
.
It gets even cozier.
DLA Piper executive Douglas Emhoff, who impregnated the nanny, during a prior marriage, is taking an extended leave of absence from the firm to campaign for Harris.
Who is Douglas Emhoff? He is the husband of Kamala Harris. Just a coincidence?
You can’t make this stuff up!
And it only gets worse. This infamous “Family Tree” will make your head spin… THE SWAMP IS DEEP!!
.
Dominion (Voting Machine Supplier) serves 40% of the US market. It is embedded in 30 states
The state of Texas rejected the machines.
Admiral Peter Neffenger is on Biden’s transition team.
Neffenger was the President of the board of Smartmatic (another Voting Machine Supplier), which entered into an agreement with Dominion in 2009
Smartmatic counted votes in Venezuela
Smartmatic is connected to the Philippine Voter Fraud
Smartmatic is run by Lord Mark Malloch Brown, who works for George Soros (he and Brown are life-long friends)
Brown chairs the Boards of a number of non-profits, including the Open Society Foundation and the Centre for Global Development.
Open Society Foundation is owned by George Soros
Smartmatic partnered with DLA Piper Global.
.
Guess who owns Dominion? Blum Capital Partners LP
Guess who is on the board for the company? Richard Blum who is Dianne Feinstein’s husband.
.
Nancy Pelosi’s husband, Paul Pelosi, is a major investor. It is rumored the two are worth $250 million
An aide to Nancy Pelosi, Nadeam Elshami, was hired by Dominion Voting Systems.
Dominion Voting Systems is listed as a $25,000 -$50,000 donor to the Clinton Foundation in 2014, by The Washington Post
Georgia Governor Kemp used Dominion Voting Systems after Texas and Florida rejected them
Dominion has a lobbyist named Jared Thomas
Jared Thomas was Governor Brian Kemp’s Chief of Staff/Press Secretary from 2012 to 2015.
.
You must remember the Feinstein, Kavanaugh, Soros connections to understand this next information
Debra Katz (Christine Ford’s lawyer, who accused Kavanaugh of rape) worked for George-Soros at the Open Society Foundation.
Debra Katz also worked at Project on Government Oversight (POGO).
POGO is funded by Soros’s Open Society Foundation.
POGO is the co-signer of the letter Diane Feinstein presented against Kavanaugh’s nomination.
.
Kamala Harris did not prosecute One West Bank for their fraud, when she had the authority, after all, Soros Owned One West Bank
Now you know why controllable/puppet Harris became controllable/puppet Biden’s running mate in 2020
.
The execrable Anne Applebaum, New York Times Journalist, married to Radoslaw Sikorski, Poland’s hawkish foreign minister and major globalist neocon. The pair see Russia as the Evil Empire, to be divided into 7 manageable pieces.
Madeline Albright, may have said, “Siberia holds too many resources for just one country”.
.
Victoria Nuland, former Assistant Secretary of State, spent $5 billion from 1991 to 2014, to prepare the Kiev coup d’etat in 2014, married to Robert Kagan, editor-at-large Washington Post, which did not endorse Harris, resulting in Kagan resigning from WaPo. The LA Times also did not endorse Harris
Many leaders of labor unions, whose members are overwhelmingly for Trump, did not endorse Harris
.
Oh, what a tangled web of lies they wove
As far as I can see, America “gives” Ukraine bags of U$ which get used in America to (a) build more weapons and (b) fund the democrats. And don’t forget that America blew up Russia’s gas pipeline thus destroying its trade with Germany. The only way the US taxpayer and the about-to-die Ukrainians get out of this is through Donald Trump.
In a strange turn of events, FEMA has cut a disaster check valued at $750 to the failed Harris campaign.
She better cash that check before FEMA goes BK!
Yes!!
Not only Trump, but the Senate AND likely the house. A regular Hat Trick.
Without a majority in either House or Senate the likelihood of any Impeachment proceedings being raised is practically Net Zero
I agree with Harris on the unrestricted abortion question. Changing the abortion laws to allow abortion up to 20 years after conception would solve a lot of the problems with teenagers. It isn’t like they are a viable lifeform.
Poor Harris! We haven’t seen a woman beaten this badly by a man since the Paris Olympic boxing!!
I suspect there were quite a few real women who listened to her and thought ‘Oh God no we’ll never live it down if she’s the first’ and ticked Trump.
A Program for a Greater America with a Much Smaller Federal Government
https://www.windtaskforce.org/profiles/blogs/a-program-for-a-greater-america
Two women tried to become President, and Trump trumped them, despite Corporate Media vilification, and DOJ-instigated lawfare, and two assassination attempts..
You just cannot make this up.
We are witnesses to some weird history.
The Extend of the 2020 Election Fraud, in Numbers
.
The table shows ballots counted in Presidential Elections
Look at the 2020 ballot counting “anomaly”
In 2020, it appears, more than 10 million ballots were brought in from all over the place, before and after polls closed, to overcome the massive Trump-lead on Election night, to get Biden-in-the basement over the hump.
In 2016, Democrats were caught flatfooted, because they thought a politically naive Trump was a joke, who would easily be defeated by Hillary, so no additional cheating was thought necessary.
Much to their surprise and dismay Hillary LOST. She still is not “over it”

Trump Winning in 2024; Democrats in a Frenzied Meltdown
.
US and EU Corporate media lied about US Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, which is why many Democrats now find his victory so shocking
For anyone, whether in America or other countries, who finds Trump’s victory shocking, they should re-consider where they get their information. Was it from biased sources?
Almost all US and EU media pushed a completely false reality.
They used their Media resources to deceive Democrats, which will backfire in the end.
No bad deed goes unpunished, nor should it!
What you are describing is abortion up to the 63rd trimester. It should be seriously considered in cases of obvious mental damage and incapacitation; like JSO or Antifa membership, or recent college attendance!
Or registering as a Democrat? Maybe?
Humor – a difficult concept.
— LT. Saavik
Yeah, it’s funny, but it really isn’t.
‘He would also roll back Democratic President Joe Biden’s electric-vehicle mandates and other policies aimed at
reducingside shifting and offshoring auto emissions.’Fixed
Trump should do away with all subsidies on EV’s, windmills, solar and industrial battery.
Let them compete in the Market Place or fail, and go away.
Easier said than done.
Even worse, we are not even hearing this being consistently verbalized.
Without the colossal arrogance, incompetence, stupidity and total disregard of the people of the U.S. by the Democrat Party over the last 4 years this enormous achievement by President Trump could never have taken place. Thank you Democrat Party for your invaluable contribution to sanity finally being restored to the White House for the benefit of the American People.
One by one the parties that rule for themselves and not for their people are being removed from power. A few countries in Europe, New Zealand, Argentina, Britain, USA. There’s still a few to go.
Notably (imho), the UK although in the UK we have a choice between dumb and dumber.
Hopefully, Badenoch can change that.
Canada’s left-wing liberals have some life still left in them. All the papers are mourning the Trump victory here.
Hopefully the people can rise up against ridiculousness like carbon taxes and self-flagellating over exploiting our natural resources.
Don’t forget Canada. Trudeau is next! Can’t wait for that beat down.
Yeah, Trudeau is gone.
No joy for any progressives fleeing America for Canada. It will be a very brief stay — lol!
The arrogance of elites in their ego bubble seriously trying to foist sleepy on their deplorables until the classic from Trump in the debate- ‘I can’t understand what he’s saying and I don’t think he does either!’ Recall the desperation to get a substitute and the ducking for cover by anyone with a brain at the poison chalice leaving them stuck with their DEI hire and gigglepot word salads.
Sublime justice for the true anti democrats and with it went any last vestige of reputation for their lackey media and fawning bollockswood actors and crooners. What’s worse for them is they now have to face the new paradigm of Elon’s X and the Joe Rogans stripping their control over the messaging once and for all. Whatever else unfolds with Trump’s reign his heroic defiance against all the odds and everything they threw at him that will be his greatest lasting legacy. Cometh the hour cometh the man!
I have a number of Democrat friends and co-workers who are going to reregister as Independents due to this election and the past 4 years.
‘I can’t understand what he’s saying and I don’t think he does either!’
Almost. “I don’t know what he just said, and I don’t think he does either.”
“Net Zero, UN Climate Pacts, Green New Deal & Inflation Reduction Act Face Ruin”. Let us fervently hope so. Me, I’m not too sure. The “forces of evil” are not easily defeated.
I believe the Knight in Shining Armor tasked to defeat the “forces of evil” as been named.
Musk.
What monsters will the D.C. swamp raise from the deep now? Perhaps President Trump should hire his own security to protect him from the Secret Service, or maybe I read too many histories.
I agree. The most criminally corrupt Agency and Democrat Party leadership who know beyond any reasonable doubt that they should be prosecuted for their multiple crimes during at least the last eight years are likely contemplating “Plan B”.IMHO.
Like the fox in a henhouse, Elon’s going to be entering a target rich environment anytime he decides to visit Washington. The leadership, as you refer to them, should be running a bit scared.
Lots of work ahead to pull America back from the brink; Vance Gabbard 2028!!
Not a bad ticket. Gabbard has seen the light. Have you read her book?
Has she seen the light on “climate?” I thought that was her one flaw.
Haven’t read it, yet. I may have to add it to my winter reading list.
I have watched most of her videos and interviews; since junior high I’ve had a thing for “little surfer girls,” especially ones that call out warmongers like Hildebeast and Kamala!
I think the speculations presented in this article are way overblown, especially with the unknowns is what Trump is inclined to do, in light of the huge resistance of the regulatory state, the positions of many people in the Congress and the Senate serving their donor’s interests, the huge green blob NGO contingent, and the various State positions which are correctly in the domain of the individual states.
It is up to skeptics like us to push this administration towards 1) election reform, to preserve free and fair elections; 2) nutritional and medical policy reform, where a increasingly healthy population can live on a diet high in nutrient dense foods like meat, fish, and poultry provided by small, local farms and ranches; and 3) energy policy reform, where we allow the free market determine how we transition into a future of plentiful RELIABLE energy technologies like CCGT and nuclear, while expanding our science and knowledge up out of the gravity well!
Occupy Mars, and mine the Asteroid Belt!
I have just read a BBC report on what they expect President Donald Trump #2 to do. It was written in very sober informative style, and was remarkably reassuring. For the BBC, it was actually a very good report too.
For BBC, yes, it was good. Too bad BBC does not uphold that standard in all reporting.
My thoughts too. He had 4 years to remove CO2 from EPA list of pollutants. Even less likely now with Musk on the team.
My expectations are that the Net Zero rhetoric will be toned down but not overturned, climate industrial complex will be allowed to exist and suck life out of real economy, just a slower pace, allowing the latter to exist, avoiding Sri Lanka like collapse. We will see more drilling and a nuclear for a bigger and healthier body for parasite to suck, but not systematic dismantling of the CCC Narrative.
Net Zero will not be happening not because any party or personality, but because of laws of nature and economics.
There is a lot of very interested power riding on the backs of those major subsidies. Getting rid of them would be a very good thing but doing so is far from a certainty. Then there are the large number (hundreds of thousands? more?) contracts already signed that will distort finances for many years to come.Trump’s presidency is just a blip on the trail in regard to long term actions.
Can the contracts be broken?
At higher grid penetration wind and solar accelerated diminishing returns are inevitable. Also, here in the U.S the 30% tax credits are supposed to end after10 years. The fraudsters have been allowed to “refurbish” after10 years which resets the tax credit clock for another10 years. So yes, there is ample opportunity to “renegotiate” contracts. But that’s a minor concern, what is critical is ending the further proliferation of this junk power that does nothing positive for the environment and only makes electricity more expensive.
Depends on the contracts of course. Very often government issued contracts do not have termination penalties for government initiated terminations.
Bankruptcies will help.
I think that most what Trump does is aimed at gaining situational advantage for his campaign, family, business, party, United States, etc. in the way he perceives this to be an advantage, but not aimed at exposing lies and upholding truth. When in order to gain these advantages he has to be more rational, closer to truth that his opponents, he is more successful. But, because he is not seeking truth per se, the changes he effects are inconsistent, transient, and are not institutionalized.
Now if we can just get rid of those idiotic Renewable subsidies!
Subsidies are likely the only things that are renewable
I’m relieved that he won.
But also concerned and worried that a single election can have such an impact on major policies, though I suppose that’s one of the points of elections. Time will tell how successful that pushback from the blob will be. I’m hopeful that he and his policies will at least slow the decline.
Here in WA state, USA, the rest of my fellow Washingtonians failed a number of election intelligence tests. We’re sliding downhill rapidly, like our neighbors to the South.
One element of Washington State’s aggressive climate action plan is a massive build-out of wind and solar generation capacity. The current plan quietly targets Montana and Wyoming as being the primary two locations for this massive build-out.
But there is this problem. The citizens of Montana and Wyoming aren’t yet aware that Washington State is planning to use their land for this massive build-out.
If the citizens of Montana and Wyoming decide they don’t want to become a renewable energy fiefdom for Washington State’s energy needs, then Bob Ferguson might just find it necessary to install all that new capacity inside the boundaries of his own state.
Under Washington State’s climate action law, Ferguson’s renewable energy siting commission has authority to overrule any local decision which rejects a solar farm or a wind farm. As far as I can see, the west-siders in our state would be fully on board with covering all of central and eastern Washington State with wind turbines and solar farms.
So happy I no longer live out that way.
I grew up in Wyoming but haven’t been back much since winning that free trip to Vietnam in the mid-60s. In August,I drove across the state twice (going-to and coming-from a wedding in Utah).
Hardly got out of Cheyenne before entering “Windmill Land”. The bosum of the prarie that begins to swell there, is now in the obscene grope of scary ideas and lies told by really creepy people.
I visited a lot of old friends (really old) and talked with random people everywhere I went. Not one person had a decent thing to say about these monstrous contraptions now dominating the wild and empty spaces, so loved by Wyoming natives. Disclaimer: I avoided the UW campus in Laramie and “better” neighborhoods around Jackson.
There needs to be a nasty surcharge on all energy exported to states that refuse to use their own resources.
The stupid virus that has destroyed California’s economy has spread to the states of Oregon and Washington. As we know, “there ain’t no cure for stupid”. Get used to it. For further evidence see the results of this weeks election.
In no small part because your state’s population consists in no small part of many former residents of your “neighbors to the south.”
I remember hearing complaints about that back in the 90s when I lived out that way.
Same as here in Colorado.
I guess Trump will be starting “Operation Aurora” around January 21.
Tom Holman is “chomping at the bit” and is eager to get busy deporting criminal aliens back to where they came from.
When I lived in Oregon in the 1970s the watchword was “Don’t Californicate Oregon!” Real Oregonians lost that one big time and I refuse to visit Marxist Oregon.
According to Vivek Ramaswamy the president has the complete authority to reorganise or shut down federal agencies.
The chief test of the next Trump term will be how successful it is in shutting down the unconstitutional and unaccountable regulatory-administrative state IMO.
he might have some luck with the help of Musk
Sure, Musk will help to preserve the right of Americans to choose the types of cars and trucks that best suit their needs.
I saw an interesting fact during the presidential election. In Washington DC, the Democrats got 93 percent of the vote and Trump got about seven percent of the vote.
This is one of the major problems for American government. Democrats dominate the bureaucracies in Washington DC. This is why things are so screwed up. This is “The Swamp”.
Trump should get rid of the majority of these entrenched Democrats and seek to put a lot more Republicans in these jobs.
One of the first things he should do is eliminate replacement of all retirees, i.e. freeze government hiring. That should then give Elon time to analyze the problem.
To quote Albert Einstein, “When I have one week to solve a seemingly impossible problem, I spend six days defining the problem. Then, the solution becomes obvious.” I imagine Elon’s already up to day 3 or 4.
Simply move all of the Federal Agencies’ headquarters out of DC and spread them out evenly through the States. Small Congressional liaison offices should suffice. That should disabuse the Deep State from running America.
Schedule F to the rescue:
https://brownstone.org/articles/the-astonishing-implications-of-schedule-f/
Trump issued the Executive Order for this on October 21, 2020 – it would have become effective on January 20, 2021. In one of his first official actions, Biden reversed the order on January 21, 2021, i.e.,the first day after his inauguration. Now that Trump has experienced the swamp ‘up close and personal’, reinstatement of this EO should be one of his highest day one priorities.
Trump won’t be able to shut down the numerous agencies that should never been created, but this time around he will remove from each of those corrupted agencies every single one of those back stabbing criminals that prevented reform during his first term and replace them with non-political leadership from industry. This is going to be a new paradigm..
He will sooner be shot than allowed to do this.
“with non-political leadership from industry.”
No such thing.
“According to Vivek Ramaswamy the president has the complete authority to reorganise [sic] or shut down federal agencies.” Bullshit.
What authority does he or does he not have, then? The agencies fall under the Executive branch, right?
Story Tip..
DOT Rejects Maine’s Floating Wind Boondoggle, Casting Doubts On Offshore Wind’s Future – Climate Change Dispatch
Yes!
During her Phoenix, Arizona rally on 10/31/2024, Kamala Harris said this: “I have fought for many who have harmed other human beings.”
Ain’t it the truth–to quote the Cowardly Lion.
😂 🤣 😅 😆
See? Sometimes politicians tell the truth!
Blind luck.
What the rest of the world would like to see includes:
Russian bot!
All I need to conclude you are racist idiot! . . . but your item #1 would have been sufficient for the idiot part.
Trump has a plate full!
Germany’s Government fell with shock. Now they get UKraine which no way can it afford.
As for the Mafia , they came with Lucky Luciano and the OSS/CIA in WWII, and infested the country with Opium.
Netanyahu just fired a competent Gallant, will likely try something extreme. Just watch Trump respond.
Don’t sugar coat it like that. Tell us how you REALLY feel.
20 … “Republic.” Correct we are not a liberal democracy, we are a “Constitutional Republic.”
“Stop funding the racist, genocidal State of Israel and respect the lives of those whose ancestors lived there long before 1948.”
Please explain how Israel is: Genocidal, racist, and doesn’t respect non-jewish lives?
I won’t hold my breath, because you can’t.
Morano is a low quality author most famous for hyperbole on Fox News appearances.
Morano is a simpleton who tackles complex subjects and completely misses the details that are important. I will list them in this comment.
For this subject, the many state climate and energy regulations are VERY important. They do not go away because Trump will be President. In Trump 1.0, he could not even end the false definition of CO2 as a pollutant.
Many states have adopted California’s car pollution regulations, including:
Advanced Clean Car II (ACC II)
Vermont was the first state to adopt ACC II in December 2022, followed by New York, Washington, and Oregon. In 2023, Colorado, Rhode Island, New Jersey, Maryland, Massachusetts, and New Mexico also adopted ACC II.
Advanced Clean Trucks (ACT)
Nine states have adopted the ACT rule, including Colorado, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Mexico, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
Low-Emission Vehicle (LEV) standards
Many states have adopted California’s LEV standards, including Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New Mexico, Nevada, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Washington.
Clean Air Act
States that don’t meet certain air quality standards can adopt California’s standards under the Clean Air Act.
At least 15 states have Net Zero target dates
At least 17 Clean Car States have adopted the CARB vehicle standards:
To eliminate the federal Clean Air Act in the Senate, a bill would need a simple majority of votes, meaning 51 votes are required, as legislation to repeal the Clean Air Act would likely be considered privileged and not subject to a filibuster, allowing it to pass with a simple majority vote
Eliminating the federal Clean Air Act would significantly affect state clean air acts, as the federal law sets the minimum standards for air quality, meaning states could not have weaker pollution regulations than those set at the federal level, but they could potentially create stricter regulations within their own states; however, without the federal framework, states would likely face challenges in coordinating efforts to address cross-state air pollution issues and could potentially see a weakening of overall air quality protections nationwide
It appears that the Senate will have 52 Republicans. In the past up to 5 Republicans favored clean air legislation. They will need Democrat votes to cancel the Clean Air Act.
On May 2, 2024, the House passed the Climate Action Now Act, with a bipartisan vote of 231 to 190. The first climate bill to receive a congressional vote in a decade, this legislation would keep the U.S. in the Paris Agreement and requires the Trump administration to submit a plan to meet the U.S. commitment to reduce carbon emissions below 2005 levels by 26 percent to 28 percent by 2032.
The Senate Majority leader refused to take up the Climate Action Now Act (H.R 9) in the Senate.
dickie-boi is a ZERO quality non-entity incapable of tackling anything above junior high grade understanding.
He has an intense jealousy of anyone who he knows is more intelligent than him or has more standing than him,
He just doesn’t realise that his childish comments about people like Marc Morano just make him look like a petty little child.
Trump 2.0 will have way more power.
I don’t understand the ad hominem comments directed towards Marc Moreno, when much of the rest of your post tends to support his statements. Not every forum (especially 3-minute news show segments) is suited to expansive discussion supporting the overarching points being made. The Climate Action Now Act was only supported by 3 House Republicans and as you implied, was already a dead letter before this election. I noted with interest the overlap between states that supported clean car/truck regs and the states that went for Kamala. I doubt that blue states will be able to impose their will on the rest of the nation with an all Republican federal government and conservative Supreme Court. As you pointed out, if/when the federal support underpinning these state rgulation vanishes, then they’re liable to die. Net Zero target dates are toothless symbolism, not worthy of discussion.
Shooting the messenger is never a good thing, but especially so when the message is likely true.
“I don’t understand the ad hominem comments directed towards Marc Moreno”
I have come to the conclusion it is jealousy..
Marc has several magnitudes more scientific knowledge and integrity than RG will ever have.
Not sure why so many minuses. Perhaps you could be less personal about Morano.
As far a I can tell, Trump never articulated a clear principled position on CO2 not being a pollutant.
If he were serious about it, he would need to repeat this with the consistency and frequency of Carthago delenda est.
Hard to argue that Net Zero had a bipartisan support. IMO, there are enough rich people on both sides deeply invested in the scam, who are reluctant to attack climate-industrial complex.
“As far a I can tell, Trump never articulated a clear principled position on CO2 not being a pollutant”
I think you are correct. I think Trump avoided getting specific on the subject because he was thinking about winning a second term and did not want the attacks he would invariably get if he were to declare CO2 as being harmless.
Trump doesn’t have that worry this time around so he can say what he really thinks about it now. Trump might be a Luke-warmer for all I know. He thinks the Green New Deal and Net Zero are hoaxes but he could hold that position and still think CO2 causes some amount of warming. I would love to know what he really thinks about it.
I do not care if you have valid points.
I quite reading after the first two line.
Attacking the person is evil.
Let’s hope that Trump also pulls out of the WHO Pandemic Treaty.
Trump needs to work with Congress to make these changes through legislation rather than regulations.
No doubt Trump is all in on Drill Baby Drill. Beyond that, he has made few commitments.
From the above article:
Uhhhh . . . in case there are those who haven’t yet noticed, the Paris Climate Accords are currently totally meaningless with China, India, Russia and Indonesia blowing off their signed “commitments” under those Accords.
Basically, no country that signed the Paris Agreement on Climate Change (the “Accords”)—with the possible exceptions of the US, Great Britain and Germany—ever had any real intention of enacting what they agreed to do! It amounted to virtue signaling on a grand scale!
I suspect US real intentions were to ruin German economy.
German politicians do a pretty good job of ruining the German economy all by themselves.
Who in the US do you suspect of wanting Germany’s ruin?
When Europeans destroy themselves, the US role is to stay aside and help them.
US industry/markets benefit from less competition, from weak, more easily controllable Europe.
It is not that simple. If the European economies go down, where are the markets for US goods?
Symbiotic relationships only survive when both sides flourish.
It is not simple, but in real life often is reduced to “Bolivar can’t carry double”.
I totally agree that symbiotic relationships are in the best interest of all nations. Could somebody explain this to US regarding its relationships not only with Europe but also with China and Russia?
Why? The US economy benefits when the German economy is running smoothly.
Running smoothly, but only on American LNG, 5 times more expensive than the pipeline gas they were getting before you know who blown up the pipeline.
I don’t believe it was the US that drafted the Paris Climate Accords . . . and for sure, it was not the US that forced any nation to sign on to them.
The Paris Climate Accords are not a treaty.
Pulling out and defunding are not complex actions.
Add the WHO, the WEF, IPCC, and a bunch of UN alphabets and maybe the UN itself (unlikely).
Hah . . . think again.
According to the United Nations:
“The Paris Agreement is a legally binding international treaty on climate change. It was adopted by 196 Parties at the UN Climate Change Conference (COP21) in Paris, France, on 12 December 2015.”

According to Wikipedia:
“The Paris Agreement (also called the Paris Accords or Paris Climate Accords) is an international treaty on climate change that was signed in 2016.”

As Escobar writes, Trumpquake!
Off the Richer Scale.
Brace for aftershocks!
We did not, as I wrongly predicted, have burning cities, so nothing earth shattering should be expected.
Trump winning the popular vote established his election as legitimate which kind of takes the wind out of the Left’s sails.
The Left needs to feel cheated to go on the rampage but there is nothing like that here.
The Left was not cheated, just defeated.
The Left is starting to come back to their senses after this stunning defeat by Trump and are starting to make noises about resisting Trump.
The Left equates a Trump victory to an attack on the United States and the US Constitution. What it really is, is an attack/repudiation of the Radical Left.
The Radical Left think *they* are America, but they are not. They are just a small portion of America. They are a minority. A losing minority because they are delusional and screw everything they touch up. That’s why they are out and Trump is in.
The Left is starting to come back to their senses
I’m not seeing it.
‘Senses’ isn’t the right word.
I should have said the Left is back to their mean-spirited attacks on Trump and Republicans.
Senator Bernie Sanders declares on CNN: ‘If Trump wins, the struggle—the global struggle—against climate change is over’ … the Good News just keeps on coming!
