Biden on Tornadoes: ‘they don’t call them that anymore’

Biden twisted inside out as he claims people don’t say ‘tornado’ anymore

Biden visited New York and New Jersey to observe the damage caused in recent days by Hurricane Ida. He discussed the impact of the storm, as well as other devastating weather incidents around the nation and how they relate to climate change.

“We’ve got to make sure that we don’t leave any community behind, and it’s all across the country,” Biden said at a press conference in New Jersey.

Biden began to describe damage from tornadoes to communities in the middle of the country.

“The members of Congress know, from their colleagues in Congress that, uh, you know, the, looks like a tornado, they don’t call them that anymore, that hit the crops and wetlands in the middle of the country, in Iowa and Nevada. It’s just across the board.”

I think CD is just funning us. On the other hand, Biden will very likely say something very like this in the next 3-1/2 years. 10,000 monkeys typing away, and all…

While Biden didn’t say that he said similar (and worse) mangled comments such as:

“kinds of things that have to be done, um, you know, there’s a, ah, during World War, Two, uh, you know, what Roosevelt came up with a thing, uh, you know, that was, uh, totally different than a, than the, the ah, he called it, ah, you know, the World War II, he had the war, the the War Production Board.”

“You know, the r-rapidly rising, ah, ahm, in with, ah, with ah, I don’t know, with ah – ”

“We hold these truths to be self-full evident, all men and women created, by the, go, you know the, you know the thing.”

“Visit vaccines dot GUM, dot gov, vaccines dot GUM”

and many, many more.

The poor old fart… can we try some empathy please?

He must surely Shirley have, or have had, some sort of ‘spark’ about him or he wouldn’t have got as far up the political dung-heap as he has got.
He doesn’t drink and is patently not overweight so that’s all looking good

All I’m gonna suggest is that since becoming POTUS, legions of well intentioned doctors, health advisers and assorted other quacks will have descended upon him – to maintain his health..

In these Modern Times, The Very First Thing they’d have done is put him on a low salt diet regime. He will be being starved of the most important neurotransmitter that there ever was.
(in some crazily misguided and fantastical effort to control his blood pressure)

That’s all you need to know – that’s where his marbles went.
In fact where they still are, in the salt cellar in the Presidential Cookhouse with nobody allowed near

Take care y’all that you don’t go the same route (first becoming POTUS is optional)

The spark about him is his corruptibility. He’s always been a lying slimeball.

His daughter wrote about him taking inappropriate showers with her and his niece when they were little. Perhaps he thought is was fine because they were over 18 (months).

I don’t think that’s correct for politics – the less spark of originality or enthusiasm you have to change things, the further you go. Those with ‘sparks’ have to be watched and stopped before they can actually do something.

Peta, I understand your empathy, but he’s borderline dementia. Period.

If it were just atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries), that would be different. That blocks recent memories but doesn’t affect retained memories. My grandmother had that. She was the sweetest person you ever met. She knew who you were and could remember what you said and did when you were 10 years old, but couldn’t remember what you said 5 minutes ago.

This is public display of sheer power greed by the Democrats and it is inexcusable. They did themselves no favors by putting this borderline demented soul on public display. I hope their buyer’s remorse eats holes in their ridiculous souls (if they have any).

And you'[re absolutely right about salt: electrolytes mean a lot if you’re going to keep your marbles in your own pocket.

Mostly, Biden’s utterances these days are just word salad. His claim that “they don’t call them tornadoes anymore” is bizarrely absurd.

John F Hultquist
September 8, 2021 2:09 pm

When Joe speaks there should be “a server of record” [recall the idea of a newspaper of record] where one could search-up the words in context. Why?
Because when the words are 3rd or 4th hand (WUWT<<Yahoo! News <<Washington Examiner<< ???] and unintelligible, my first thought is April 1st or National Liers Day.
It is unbelieavable that the president of the USA has a boggled mind.

Did the use of the word “tornado” make the racist or sexist-list or something? I still call them tornadoes, so maybe I missed the last update to politically correct words.

I remember when Barry O picked him for Veep, thinking “why would he pick an idiot like Biden, with all the charisma of a potato?” At the time I wrote it off as impeachment insurance, figuring there was no way Joe the Jerk could ever make it to the White House.

And here we are today, living in a John le Carre/Tom Clancy novel.

So what do they call them? “Baby Hurricanes”?
Gore and CAGW predicted they would an increase decades ago and they didn’t happen.
Maybe this will be their way of getting rid of yet another “pause” in the hyped predictions?
(Perhaps if The Storm Channel started naming them…)

JC on a crutch…! What in the blue-eyed world is going on there?

Tornado is one of several Spanish words (NOT Hispanic, S-P-A-N-I-S-H -> an actual language) for twister and/or windstorm.

Where in that empty vessel is this c–p coming from? If “they don’t call them tornadoes” any more, then what do “they” call them? Huh?

If it ain’t a TORNADO, then what is it? Is it an angry rabbit thumping the ground? A spoonful of sugar in your coffee?

I understand that there is loads of buyer’s remorse underway. Mice fleeing a sinking ship, perhaps?

My sister was in his district when he was in Congress. Voted for him every time, very defensive about his attempt to be President. I did not argue with her. I just muttered “You’ll be sorry” under my breath after I got off the phone with her. That was less than a year ago…. No, I will not twit her about her choice. Everybody makes mistakes.

But holy hoppping Hannah, someone needs to sew his mouth shut.

Fore decades, Bernie has declared himself a Communist/Socialist
He celebrated his honeymoon in the USSR, more than 30-years ago.
The Russian Commie pros played him like a fiddle. Made him feel important.
He lapped it up.

Bernie SAYS the $3.5 TRILLION boondoggle is a DOWN PAYMENT for:

1) Many decades of CLIMATE FIGHTING (tilting at wind mills), PLUS to
2) Install social justice in the US, as defined by Dem/Progs.

The real purpose is to create a vast array on NEW government programs, and to EXPAND existing ones, all run by Dem/Progs friends and family.

The Socialistic, do-goodie government programs would bribe the inhabitants of Dem/Prog-controlled cities to vote Dem/Prog, FOREVER.

Simultaneously OPENING THE BORDERS is just a part of the plan to shift US DEMOGRAPHICS towards Dem/Progs, FOREVER.

“Global warming fighting” has nothing to do with reducing the world temperature, because mankind’s very puny efforts would completely pale, compared to the daily energy input from the sun.

This is all about centralized command/control of all phases of our lives, while all others are mandated to toil and pay taxes to meet the increasingly nutty RE MANDATES of Dem/Progs

About half the world population is more or less exempt from the 2015 Paris agreements.

John Kerry flies his private jets worldwide, spewing CO2, while playing the role of climate TSAR; hypocrisy in spades.

Bernie refuses to fly, except first class, or on borrowed private planes, to collect his exorbitant speaking fees to fatten his tax-free foundation, just like the elite Clinton duo.

Life is getting better and better for elite Dem/Progs.

Did not Obama buy a $15 million spread in Martha’s Vineyard, which is IN ADDITION to his OTHER houses?

The $3.5 TRILLION boondoggle would hugely increase the role of Government in the US economy.

Senator Manchin has just stated he will NOT vote for anything greater than $1.5 TRILLION.
That was a mistake
He should have reduced the $1.5 TRILLION to ZERO

NOTE: General Michael Hayden wants to participate in ethic cleansing and demographics shifting.

The Bush-era NSA chief, stated on Twitter, “Its a good Idea to bring planes full of Afghanistans to the US, and fill the planes with unvaccinated Trump supporters for transport to Afghanistan, to then get more Afghanistans for transport to the US”.
Where I come from, that is ethical and moral TREASON.

That nutcase was in charge of the NSA, which is the spy agency that whistleblower Snowdon worked for.

From the article: ““We’ve got to make sure that we don’t leave any community behind, and it’s all across the country,” Biden said at a press conference in New Jersey.”

I recall Joe Biden saying not long ago that he would leave no Americans behind in Afghanistan, too. That was an empty promise. Don’t count on Joe Biden to do what he says he will do. He’s a proven liar.
