As the Chinese Coronavirus crisis sucks oxygen from XR’s climate campaign, a leaked internal document suggests Extinction Rebellion is considering increasingly desperate measures, including having protestors kill themselves in public, to try to regain public attention.

Extinction Rebellion (XR) activists, increasingly overshadowed by the coronavirus, have been discussing new and ever more desperate ways to grab attention for their next big publicity stunt.
Mooted tactics include: committing suicide in public (perhaps at the UN’s next climate summit in Glasgow later this year); hunger strike to the death; painting parliament green; spraying traffic lights black; blocking every station, airport, and motorway in Britain; and “scare the fuck out of people”.
These are among the actions proposed on a leaked XR discussion document titled ‘Vital Additions to Action Strategy.’ They appear in a list under the heading ‘Top Ideas from the Sessions.’
The radical ideas seem to be a response to concerns within XR that the public have grown slightly bored with or even irritated by their antics.

There is no evidence of any XR member having actually volunteered to commit suicide or go on hunger strike in order to save the planet. And the document concedes that “highly sacrificial actions” have been vetoed up until now because of “strong pushback from the movement”.

A copy of the leaked XR document which mentions suicide is available here. The document discusses concerns about a fall in new members, and ideas for getting more media attention through acts of extreme sacrifice.
Let us hope Extinction Rebellion dump this idea in the circular filing cabinet where it belongs, and don’t attempt to identify and groom someone mentally unwell enough in their ranks to actually go through with something so horrible.

XR wont be sending out death squads they dont need to do, heres why, the world economy was already heading for recession, the USA fed just announced 700 billion QE package ,they also have taken away the rule banks need to hold reserves, this is serious stuff!

Something big is going down right now in front of us ,its effecting every thing XR have been crying for EG the demise of the airlines, the USA has abandoned all wide body aircraft for narrow body types with pilots having to be retrained, the markets so far are not buying into the USA QE programme.

We need to make a list of those in power who thought it was a good idea to let ER do these first little events and provocations, because “youths are going to be silly anyway” or something like that.

XR have already split into two factions, the newer is Extinction Dementia who seem to have forgotten exactly what they’re protesting about but could split into further factions after several incidents of glueing themselves to Polar Bears and endangered Bengal Tigers.
So, is there a betting line in Vegas on when this actually happens? Over/under 6 months?
Self immolation or a serious hunger strike will happen at some point. Many examples of people becoming so distraught or so sublimely convinced of their cause that this appears to be a good option. What they are advocating is essentially a suicide pact for society. As prophets some will want to take the lead. From this shore it seems that UK government has taken many of their ideas on board. It working.
They are criminally insane. It’s tragic that their lies have gone unchallenged and often reinforced by (what else can you call them?) evil politicians.
The organization should be banned as a terrorist group.

If they were to groom someone to commit suicide, I wonder how much their tactics would differ from Greta’s parents?
Do they do group Darwin awards then? With zero out of five of the most important predictions being correct man made climate change has to be high on the list of insane and implausible causes to die for.
I’ve been saying for years, the green movement, and progressivism in general, is an extinction mechanism.
There is a movie called the crazies about a military aircraft crash in the swamp that causes a virus that turns towns people into murderous zombies. The military moves in and quarantines the population and ends up shooting civilians in the street. The movie ends with a nuclear bomb sanitizing the area. Problem solved?
Of course it’s just a sci-fi movie but the comparison is similar. How short of a step is it from promoting suicide to murder? In the movie it was one step from helping to murder.
The movie however was about a real danger while the climate threat is not.
