Nolte: Greta Thunberg Says We Will ‘Put World Leaders Against the Wall’

Time’s “Scold of the Year,” Greta Thunberg, told a crowd in Italy that “we will make sure we put world leaders against the wall” if they do not do what she tells them to do.
On her way home, the 16-year-old Swedish eco-activist and chronic truant stopped to address a Fridays for Future gathering in Turin, Italy, at which she went the full-Fidel Castro.
“Unfortunately, we probably already know the outcome. World leaders are still trying to run away from their responsibilities but we have to make sure they cannot do that. We will make sure that we put them against the wall and they will have to do their job to protect our futures,” she said, according to the Daily Mail.
“Against the wall” is fairly common jargon in revolutions, especially youthful revolutions, and the accepted translation means executions — lots and lots of executions, specifically firing squads, where the old leaders are permanently removed by fresh-faced revolutionaries.
During the speech, and while wearing what looks like a plastic — and, therefore, a petroleum-based — yellow rain slicker, Greta shouted her usual spiel about how The Children should be in charge of everything because The Children will have to live in a future that will not exist unless we return to the Dark Ages of wind and solar power, unless we accept socialism.

The Hitchhiker’s Travel Guide describes the Marketing Department of the Sirius Cybernetics Corporation as:

It does appear that “up against the wall” has a different meaning in Swedish:

English translation:

I’m not sure that’s any less insane.
Greta Thunberg is a spoiled brat. Her parents have turned her into this obnoxious teen troll. She can’t answer complicated questions, not because she has some sort of neurological disorder, but rather because she doesn’t HAVE any answers. She is all rhetoric with no substance, all show and no “go”. She’s a school dropout, remember? When some ignorant, uneducated teen gets away with public tantrums – and she’s had several of them – it’s a front for something else.
I’m waiting to see what happens next. She made a veiled threat. Who is supposed to execute it for her?
Finn please ask your your ex-colleague what he makes of Greta’s excessively dilated pupils in her “How dare you speech”. It may because of stress but certain drugs cause pupil dilation.

I’m not really bothered by her saying this (she’s a teenager & I’ll ignore it). However, she was prb’ly scripted to say this by her adult handlers.
In Scandinavian languages it usually means to corner somebody in a discussion in the sense that the person runs out of arguments or excuses. i.e. there is no longer an escape or a way to dodge the question. I am pretty sure that the execution connotations were unintended.

I still don’t understand why anybody is paying attention to this 16 year old ignoramus. Einstein was correct: human stupidity is infinite.
Her handlers are communists. And to have Communism you need to have a revolution. And to have a revolution you need to agitate. That is what’s most likely happening here.
Greta just says what her handlers tell her to say. She has only a general science education and has yet to enter tenth grade so she if 4 years away from finishing high school let alone start college.
A Freudian slip at best but judging from a best-off from Greta so far, I would not be surprised. She thinks there are too many people on Earth anyhow so she might have a way to start tackling this. I am not concerned but I am not really surprised either.

Have heard “had my back put against the wall” many times in litigation. It means the same thing as being “backed into a corner” means.
