John Kerry reaches new highs of beclowning himself with temperature

I’m pretty sure he’ll blame his blathering on the heat. You have to wonder if privately, many leading climate alarmists are saying quietly “shut up John you are blowing our argument“.

(CNSNews.com) – Secretary of State John Kerry told an audience in Mexico on Wednesday that temperatures in Europe and in Vietnam were “unprecedented” and broke “every record that’s ever been seen.” However, although it was hot that day, he was off the mark.

Speaking at an environmentally-friendly technology event in Mexico City, Kerry said he had just caught a CNN weather report in his hotel and “saw the temperatures around the world right now.”

“Thirty-four degrees centigrade [Celsius] in Vietnam today, in May. Twenty-nine, thirty, thirty-two, thirty-three in places all around Europe,” he said. “Unprecedented. Breaks every record that’s ever been seen.”

“What we are seeing around the world is what scientists have predicted,” Kerry continued. “They’re not telling us that we may see global climate change. We are seeing it, and we’re seeing the impacts now.”

Wednesday was a hot day in Vietnam, with temperatures rising at their highest to 36 degrees celsius (96.8°F) at Tan Son Nhut international airport in Ho Chi Minh City. But according to Vietnam’s foreign ministry, the highest temperature recorded in May is 39°C (102.2°F) in Ho Chi Minh City, and 42°C (107.6°F) in Hanoi. The Hanoi record was registered in 1926.

The hottest places in Europe in the heat of the day on Wednesday, according to weatheronline.co.uk included parts of Russia, Germany, central Italy and southern Turkey, all in the 29-32°C (84-89°F) range.

The highest temperature ever recorded in European Russia was 44°C (111.2°F) in 2010; in Germany was 40.2°C (104.4°F) in 1983 and 2003; in Italy was 48.5°C (119.3°F) in 1999; and in Turkey was 48.8°C (119.8°F) in 1993.

He goes on to cite the usual talking points, er tipping points. Meanwhile, real problems in the world exist and are getting worse. When one of those blows up while he’s off someplace preaching about non-existent all-time record highs, he’ll likely go down as the most incompetent Secretary of State ever.

Its a lot easier to complain about climate change than address real problems…….After all, he is actually doing something about nothing as opposed to doing nothing about something.

Kerry spoke for record temperatures before he spoke against them.

I don’t think he has ever sounded educated or intelligent, although he did grow up speaking French.
He has always been two-faced.

And to think in 2004, while running for the presidency, Kerry sounded like an educated, intelligent man.
You must have confused him with Jim Carey.

Tommorow he’ll remind us how he kicked Putin’s ass right out of Crimea, closed Gitmo and successfully negotiated a peace treaty between Israel and their prisoners in the occupied territories.
What a guy.

I am relishing the thought that Kerry is suffering the classic symptoms of ketchup poisoning.

And he’ll get the Arabs to apologize for wanting to drive the Jews into the sea. In ’48 and all subsequent years. Just for balance.

John Kerry can “see” climate change the same way Debbie Stabenow could “feel it when I’m flying”. No doubt, Believers can also “smell” and “hear” climate change, and some even sense it intuitively, via ESP.
Woe betide we unfortunates who demand actual evidence and facts in the face of sheer emotionalism.

Well, there are a couple possible explanations for this.
First, he might have “sounded like an educated intelligent man” to you then. Since then you have gained more wisdom than has he.
Second, Kerry now having achieved his pinnacle of political power no longer needs to sound like an educated intelligent man, but can be his true self.
In either case, upon exit from office, he is destined to leave the world and this country in a worse place than it was when he entered.
It strike me that we could use a constitutional amendment. The Senate currently has the advise and consent duty to confirm those appointed to executive and judicial offices. The amendment should be to make that confirmation probationary, subject to a second vote of unreserved confirmation after 12 months. 9 times out of 10 it will be an near automatic vote to reconfirm. On that 1 time out of 10, it will be our insurance policy protecting us from The Peter Principle.

Dear Secretary Kerry,
Thank you for your valiant leadership in Vietnam, your principled defense of our country’s actions in that conflict, your decades of keeping the Jr. Senator’s seat from Massachusetts warm, your bungled and hilariously failed Presidential campaign (during a time when we really needed a laugh), your managing to make Joe Biden look smart (no mean feat), and now, finally, your clarion call for the world to rise up and take carbonaction in the name of fighting to preserve our very existence! I for one am very impressed. Keep it up sir. Let no one dissuade you!

Shhhh…even his best friends don’t know about it…just ask him

And who is he, really?
A close associate hints: There’s a secret compartment in Kerry’s briefcase. He carries the black attaché everywhere. Asked about it on several occasions, Kerry brushed it aside. Finally, trapped in an interview, he exhaled and clicked open his case.
“Who told you?” he demanded as he reached inside. “My friends don’t know about this.”
The hat was a little mildewy. The green camouflage was fading, the seams fraying.
“My good luck hat,” Kerry said, happy to see it. “Given to me by a CIA guy as we went in for a special mission in Cambodia.”
Kerry put on the hat, pulling the brim over his forehead. His blue button-down shirt and tie clashed with the camouflage. He pointed his finger and raised his thumb, creating an imaginary gun. He looked silly, yet suddenly his campaign message was clear: Citizen-soldier. Linking patriotism to public service. It wasn’t complex after all; it was Kerry.
He smiled and aimed his finger: “Pow.”

Politicians want to be politicians and to become one they must promise something. All the old reasons are time wearied. Preventing Climate change is the new promise (lie). If only people would see that.
Politics will destroy our civilisation, not climate change (if it ever existed).

And to think in 2004, while running for the presidency, Kerry sounded like an educated, intelligent man. Somewhere between then and 2012, he must have a had brain transplant. I wonder where Dr. Frankestein found the brain that he put in the head of this new climate change monster?

“Hmmm, this one looks good: Abby Normal”.
