Not bad, less than a 2% reduction in fossil fuels for over 6 trillion USD of investment. (source data of cumulative investment: OWID and iea.org). Most likely the reduction is due to increase efficiency minus the drag from inefficient back-up to renewables.

Population is up over double, while maintaining essentially the same FF percentage so one can conclude that the extreme green view that population reduction is the only solution to CO2 emissions is correct.
I’m going to put a /s on that, but….

And on top of the trillions wasted on installing the bird and insect killing eyesores, there is a real likelihood that nuclear, especially the small modular reactors, will replace the windmills and solar panels. Under current technologies are even possible to recycle? So will likely be buried.
