Watch: Morano on Fox & Friends presents the top 4 ‘climate hypocrites’ of 2023 – And the winner is…

From CLIMATE DEPOT

By Marc Morano

Expert shares the year’s worst climate hypocrites, from King Charles to John Kerry – ‘Climate Depot’ publisher Marc Morano ranks the worst climate hypocrites of 2023 on ‘Fox & Friends Weekend.’

Fox News Channel – Fox and Friends – Broadcast December 30, 2023

Transcript:

Rachel Campos-Duffy: Mirror mirror on the wall. Which climate activist was the most hypocritical of them all. Marc Morano, we love him,  he has all the names and he joins us next.

2023 was a year full of climate activists, celebrities, and billionaires, telling you to cut down on carbon emissions while they live life in luxury. So who tops the list of biggest climate Hypocrites this year? Well our next guest can name a few. Climate Depot publisher Marc Morano joins us now in a very snazzy red suit.

Marc Morano: I’m ready to celebrate.  I take award ceremonies very seriously.

Rachel Campos-Duffy: I love it. So who tops this Oscar?

Marc Morano: Why don’t we start at the bottom, and then we’ll work our way up. We start with King Charles. King Charles
flew to the COP 28 UN climate Summit in a private jet, and he recently founded the Terra Carta, which is the Earth Charter seeking nature rights,  which is trying to grant nature,  trees, lakes, rivers, equal rights to humans.  At the same time, King Charles, formerly Prince Charles, is issuing climate tipping points and here’s the thing Rachel he has servants reportedly iron his shoelaces, and he travels with a portable toilet. So I think he’s probably the last person on planet Earth who should be lecturing us
about climate change. See:  King Charles takes private jet to travel to 2023 UN climate summit & See: Climate activist Prince Charles has his shoelaces ironed every morning, travels with own toilet seat

Rachel Campos-Duffy:  It’s so funny because the thing about all these people is they’re all really weird. They’re weirdos. So continue, who’s next on the list?

Marc Morano: The UN cop 28 the Climate Summit itself. It had the largest carbon footprint in the history of climate summits. I’ve been to 18 out of the last 20 of these climate summits all over the world, this one in Dubai had almost over 100,000 participants filled the runways with private jets  — the UK had three different high government officials arrive in three separate private jets. But that wasn’t all, Rachel. As CNN was telling us we needed ‘carbon passports’ to travel — us the unwashed masses –the UN climate was also planning on restricting our meat eating as John Kerry announced he wanted to go after agriculture. But at the UN climate summit,  they were serving wagyu beef, Philly cheese steaks, they had lavish restaurants serving meat. There were no insects on the menu and there was no Bill Gates lab-grown meat either.See: Private Jets Flock To Dubai For COP 28: Event Set To Have Biggest Carbon Footprint In History & UN climate summit serving burgers, BBQ as it calls for US to stop eating meat – Offerings include ‘juicy beef,’ ‘slabs of succulent meat,’ smoked wagyu burgers & Philly cheesesteaks

Next on the list is before we get to the final winner here is none other than Bill Gates himself. Bill Gates has literally had the world’s largest carbon footprint for years. He’s pushed for longer COVID lockdown during the same weeks he was bidding for bidding on the world’s largest private jet transport company, and Bill Gates has a $43 million Oceanfront home and he’s got a $30,000 a month electricity bill again. This guy has no business lecturing anyone on climate change. See: Watch: Climate activist Bill Gates on BBC defends his private jet flying – ‘I’m part of the solution’ & he buys carbon offsets & CBS News: Bill Gates says flying on a private jet doesn’t make him “part of the problem” because he invests billions into fighting climate change & Bill Gates Owns Multiple Jets He Calls His ‘Guilty Pleasure’

Which leads us to the winner here if you want to do a drum roll.

Rachel Campos-Duffy: I will do it.

Marc Morano: The winner is John Kerry, and John Kerry gets this award easily for the end of 2023. We have to give the number one climate hypocrite award to John Kerry because he stood before Congress at a hearing and was grilled by a Congressman where he repeatedly said ‘I don’t own a private jet,  I’ve never owned a private jet.’ And it wasn’t until about 45 minutes later that a congressman grilled him and said wait a minute, your wife owned private jets for decades and then finally sold them when the negative media came out, and John Kerry was forced to say, ‘Yes my wife owns one. Yes, I’ve flown in HER private jets.’

Key video clips of Kerry at 2023 hearing:

🚨🚨Climate goon, John Kerry gets caught lying about his private jet👇😂

“One of the most persistent LIES that I hear is that WE own a PRIVATE JET, I don’t own a private jet and I’ve never owned a private jet”

“You just testified under oath that you never owned a private jet? I… pic.twitter.com/HoH0rjuLQG

— Kevin – WE THE PEOPLE❤️ – DAD🦁 🐉 🔥 (@bambkb) July 15, 2023

Morano: If that’s not lying to Congress, I’m not sure what is. So John Kerry gets the award. Let’s celebrate that.

One last final note, and this is an actual positive award to Abigail Disney, the Disney heiress. We’ve got to give her props. She has come out and stopped flying private jets. She is one of the wealthiest heiresses in the world, heir to the Disney fortune. She now wants to ban private jets for the 1% wealthiest people in the world and I say she’s got it right. We need to support Abigail Disney the Disney heiress, because any of these climate rules they come up with should apply to the John Kerrys and the Bill Gates, and King Charles types first. Let’s experiment on them with travel bans, restrictions on meat eating, insect-eating, And only then should we consider these restrictions for the rest of us. Let’s support what the Disney heiress is doing.

Rachel Campos-Duffy: Sadly, all of these bans will do nothing to solve the so-called climate problem. All this is doing is
impoverishing Americans, impoverishing the Third World, causing more hunger, and famines. It’s funny because they’re hypocrites, and it’s so obvious. It’s sad because it has real-world consequences on on people’s families and lives.

Marc,  I love how you always bring this to our attention. Wishing you a Happy New Year and thanks for joining us with your awesome list.

Morano: Thank you, Rachel appreciate it.  Happy New Year.

Somewhat on topic:
King Charles III ? Let us not forget that King Charles III was issued the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch during his coronation.

Sorry! Had to do it.

Thanks Monty Python,

Doesn’t Buffett also own a major train company that just happened to get the contract (lucky duck) to haul all the crude from the Canadian Oil sands that would have been sent down the XL pipeline that Biden cancelled the first day after he was installed (installed like a toilet is installed)?

And that train burns oil. ZERO CO2 = 100% Electric Railroads.

Homework: convert the amount of oil consumed by ALL rail transportation to BTUs and then convert those BTUs into Terawatts. Use that number to determine the total number of New Electric Locomotives, Wind-turbines/Solar panels and the absolutely necessary Storage facilities [Batteries, Solar Panels, Pumped Storage] Then, the new Transmission lines, Overhead rail service lines for the thousands of miles of track and the rail yards, etc., etc., …..

Having worked for four years on the RR, I estimate that we can not achieve 100% Electric Railroad track (160,141 mi (257,722 km) by 2050 or even 2100, and even that alone will bankrupt RR companies and triple the price of anything you buy that is shipped by Rail – Approximately 1/2 of the things you buy and of course, is used in making and constructing Solar Panels and Wind Turbines and hauling the material needed for the expansion of the Power Grid. Just one of the transformers necessary at a Substation will need a Rail Flatcar to haul it and more than a thousand will be needed for this project alone.

!00% Renewable / Zero CO2 emission by 2050 even 2100 is Both Physically and Economically IMPOSSIBLE in our great, Great, GREAT Grandchildren’s lifetime.

Berkshire owns 100% of many companies and some on the list will surprise you

List of assets owned by Berkshire Hathaway – Wikipedia

What railroad stocks are owned by Berkshire Hathaway?

The BNSF Railway Company is the principal operating subsidiary of parent company Burlington Northern Santa Fe, LLC. Headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas, the railroad’s parent company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, Inc., of Omaha, Nebraska.

Does BNSF haul oil from Canada?

Its trains carry energy (such as oil and coal), agricultural and consumer products. Railroads such as BNSF owned by Buffett ( here ), however, are not the principle way oil is transported from Canada to the United States, which is by pipeline

.How is crude oil transported from Canada to US?

Crude oil from Canada, after being transported by pipelines in North Dakota and Montana, typically travels to various destinations, including refineries and distribution points, both within the United States and for export.

According to the Canada Energy Regulator, Canada exported approximately 145,881 barrels per day of crude oil by rail in October 2023

CER – Canadian Crude Oil Exports by Rail – Monthly Data (cer-rec.gc.ca)

The United States imported nearly 3.8 million barrels of crude oil from Canada every day in 2022.

The XL pipeline extension was only 8% completed under Trump so was going nowhere anyway.. If 8% took four years, the project would not have been close to being completed if Trump had won a second term.

Gill Gates lives in a 66,000-square-foot (6,100 m2) mansion.

Reply to  Joseph Zorzin
December 31, 2023 8:21 am

I ran some numbers…..

https://callmepower.com/faq/electricity-prices/electricity-prices-per-sq-ft

The average monthly cost of electricity per square foot ranges from about 4 cents in New Mexico to 13 cents in Hawaii, so using an average of 8 cents per square foot for Gates’ mansion, 66,000 sq ft X $0.08 = $5280/month X 12 months = $63,360…and that is if he ONLY uses the same amount as the AVERAGE American, which is unlikely. Parties, meetings, large gatherings, charging a fleet of EVs, etc. could easily double or triple or quadruple that number, and that is for just ONE MANSION…not including all his other mansions and properties.

Gates claims to have solar cells on his homes and and an efficient home in Medina, WA. That estate is Earth-sheltered, which means it’s built into the surroundings to regulate temperature efficiently and reduce its carbon footprint. Also, tall trees are planted all around the premises to safeguard the residence against heat loss
How much is an average electric bill in Seattle?
The average residential electricity rate in Medina is 10.36¢/kWh.

Gates does have a $44 million California oceanside vacation home but his main residence is in Medina Washington and is worth $170 million. That’s where he lives most of the time

Bill Gates is single. He can only drive one electric vehicle at a time no matter how many he owns.

No one seems to know if he owns other homes or how many he owns. The $30,000 a month claim for electricity is a number pulled out of a hat.

Richard ignores the fact that Gates keeps all of his properties at the ready 24/7/365 with servants and maintenance personnel living there using electricity. That’s true of nearly all rich people, especially one of the richest in the world. They get to build bug houses.

How about the 100000 people who flew to Dubai on public and private jets?

Gates earned his money through capitalism even though he turned wacky later in life.

At least he paid to get to Dubai

Consider the HUGE number of US government employees who we taxpayers funded for their trip to Dubai

Morano usually exaggerates how bad leftists are in hyperbolic phrases on Fox News. I have complained that he rarely presents facts or data for Fox listeners to learn a convincing scientofic climate talking point or two

This time there were some numbers and they were wrong

He is an unreliable spokesman
Mr. Watts and most writers here could do so much better.

“Gates has a $43 million Oceanfront home and he’s got a $30,000 a month electricity bill again” MORANO

The Truth

‘Gate’s electric bill is not public information and It is NOT $30,000 a month.
It could be $30,000 a year

Gares does not live in a $43 million home. He paid about $63 million to construct it and it is estimated to be worth $130 million now

A strange fact about the homes is that Ii has 7 bedrooms and a whopping 18.75 bathrooms, according to public records. That’s not many bedrooms for a large 66,000 square foot home but is a lot of bathrooms for only 7
bedrooms.

I see Gore, Gates and Kerry as the Three Stooges of Climate Change

King Charles would be Shemp

I’d like to see Morano criticize the scientists who deserve to be targets such as Michael Man and James Hansen. They are the house of cards foundation under the Gores and Gates.
