The United Auto Workers (UAW) is going after President Joe Biden’s so-called “green energy” agenda for its wage-cutting outcomes while showering billions in American taxpayer money on the three largest automakers in the nation: Ford, General Motors (GM), and Stellantis.
As part of Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act, passed last year, automakers are set to enjoy a massive windfall via tax credits for electric vehicles (EVs) made in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
UAW President Shawn Fain, as well as the union’s members in Lordstown, Ohio, are sounding the alarm on severe cuts to auto workers’ wages as a result of the Biden administration’s push to steer automakers towards EVs, enticing them with federal subsidies.
…
OUR DEFINING MOMENT.
A new industry is being born. New standards are being set.
It's not just about Lordstown.
Everywhere, our message is the same: Our country deserves good, safe, living-wage union jobs.
The video released by the United Auto Workers focuses on the impact on Lordstown, of an internal combustion vehicle plant closure followed by a new green factory, which pays a lot less than the old jobs.
The video also seems to claim the new green automobile jobs are dangerous – “there have been fires”.
I sure hope those workers got themselves checked out for exposure to Lithium after dousing any battery fires. Lithium exposure can cause acute and long term health issues, up to and including dementia like brain injuries.
UAW President Shawn Fain also criticised Biden’s subsidies for billionaires, which don’t seem to be “trickling down” to members.
This is a real challenge to Biden’s administration, for one of his allies to come out and criticise him like this.
Shawn Fain is not criticising the principle of Biden’s green transition. But he’d definitely like a lot more of that just transition Biden keeps promising to flow to his members.
Every industry that currently makes physical goods is usually roughly at parity with their international competitors.
However, making THINGS requires energy. As soon as the Green politicians get their claws into your national energy policy apparatus, energy prices are going to go up sharply.
Now your industries are NOT at parity with their international competitors.
Germany is learning this lesson hard. The U.S. blue collar workers are also learning this lesson hard.
The politicians, union leaders, and CEOs that receive green subsidies are profiting by teaching the useful idiots this lesson.
Once lost, these jobs are very difficult to recover.
“The U.S. blue collar workers are also learning this lesson hard.”
Of course they’ve been stiffed for decades as corporations moved their industries to Mexico and China and other nations. Meanwhile, the universities loved having millions of Chinese students paying the full price- mostly studying science and engineering, then going back to China to build advanced industries and now a very powerful military. Both political parties let this happen- which is why I like neither.
Corporations are not “stiffing” workers by moving to other countries.
If those corporations had not moved, they would have gone out of business, and those jobs still would have been lost.
Blame the politicians who are creating an environment in which US based companies can no longer compete on the world market.

What’s particularly ironic about the whole EV push is that they’re not selling worth a damn even with massive government subsidies. Last year they accounted for only 14% of new auto sales globally, but take away those incentives and watch those sales plummet. So the producers are also benefiting from the subsidies while cutting wages to boot, a real win-win situation.
I can anecdotally and happily relay that fact. My wife is looking to purchase a car. We go to a dealership and the salesperson has her test drive a hybrid. We do and besides the safety feature of growling in electric mode the entire time, it was a nice pleasant vehicle. The salesperson asks my wife afterwards if she is interested. My wife immediately answers no and added I don’t want that thing burning down my house. I was so pleased that I told her that she can add any option that she wants.
Yes, as explained to us by the salesperson. My wife and I both thought it was annoying as it did not change pitch only volume. It was raining and my wife is a very cautious driver so the car did not leave electric mode.
According to the IEA China accounted for 60% of all EVs sold in 2022 with Europe (15%) and the US (8%) being the other major markets. Outside these areas sales were low with only 80,000 sold in India, Thailand and Indonesia. In Thailand EV share was just over 3% and in India and Indonesia about 1.5%.
Even in China the industry is having a torrid time with their largest producer, Nio, making huge losses and having to cut prices to shift cars as well as ending its free 6 battery swap out scheme. The Chinese Government recently had to extend tax breaks to 2027 at a cost of £56.9bn ($68.2bn)
BEVs are currently a subsidy mining example of rent seeking. Proles are not really ever considered. Workers are an exhibit, not essential to the rent seeking enterprise.
Actually producing and selling battery electric vehicles was not the goal. I would believe someone made beaucoup money off Lordstown, just not the stockholders or workers.

Henry Ford in the early 1900’s knew that to sell product you had to have well paid workers. He paid his workers well and helped create the auto industry that we know today. Of course he did not have Government subsidies to help him. Any lesson here?
Henry Ford also hated drunk workers who didn’t show up on Mondays. So he bankrolled prohibition. Prohibition bankrolled organized crime which corrupted government and unions. Be careful what you wish for.
Henry Ford was an excellent marketing man, that particular claim was an excellent example.
Ford paid his workers well for two reasons, the productivity improvements made possible by his assembly lines, made it possible.
Secondly, his factories were not pleasant places to work, so he needed high wages to get people to come and to stay.
Paying your workers more, so that they can afford the products they make is a recipe for bankruptcy, if the only people who can afford your products are your own workers, you will be out of business quite quickly.
He had immense worker churn rates, and it was time consuming and expensive to constantly need to hire and train new people.
That was why he first started paying workers what at the time were unheard of rates of pay for the type of work.
It was years later that it occurred to him that if his workers made enough money, they could buy a car themselves. It took some drastic price reductions to make that part happen.
He lowered the selling price by huge percentages.
And by that time, people were falling in love with driving cars anyhow, in the US at least.
Big country, everything is far away, and we had plenty of gasoline, which prior to the advent of IC engines and lots of people owning cars, was a waste product of oil refining. Gasoline used to be dumped, considered a useless nuisance.

You guys don’t give poor old Joe a break. He has worked and is responsible for getting the get the lowest unemployment rates in modern US history, but that’s not good enough. Now he has to have everyone paid like kings.
Joe Brandon is already broken… especially in mind…
He hasn’t done anything… except mumble and grunt and sniff the hair of young girls.
He is destroying the USA.
“The so-called U-6 unemployment rate, which also includes people who want to work, but have given up searching and those working part-time because they cannot find full-time employment, rose to 6.9 percent in June“
What a silly man you are. If you can’t back up what you say, you chief strategy is just to write nonsense … and hilariously the undiscerning crowd here cheer.
“You have just admitted CO2 don’t cause El Nino, and as El Nino is the only warming in the atmospheric data, CO2 cannot have caused the warming.” I think you need to do climate change 101. ENSO is neutral, it neither warms nor cools the planet long term. Now if you have any information or links to the contrary let’s see them. But you wont because well… you are wrong. And my point re Trump is he makes as many gaffs as Biden. In fact a lot worse.
As usual, Simon is all insult and no reality.
If Simon knew half as much as his mother assures him he does, he would know that 3 weeks is plenty of time for an El Nino to start impacting world temperatures.
We know from UAH that the only atmospheric warming in the last 45 years has come at 2 major El Ninos.
We also know that the climate worriers, like yourself, are praying desperately for another strong El Nino, which they hope will possibly cause a warming step, they can make into a linear trend.
They KNOW that a possible effect of a major El Nino is a step temperature response.
And just like you, they KNOW that CO2 is NOT involved.
It is all just a facade for the weak-minded AGW cultist to swallow and regurgitate.
Do you have a credible link that says ENSO is the cause of the long term warming? If not, can I tell you in support of your failing credibility that saying something over and over again does not make it true.
Do you have a credible link that shows enhanced atmospheric CO2 causes warming… not assumption driven models, not mantra… credible science (I doubt you even have a clue what that means.
You have zero credibility… and it keeps sinking further and further with each gormless comment you make.
The inflation rate has decreased but the prices have already been inflated. Nothing will go down as long as Biden’s handlers continue their war on fossil fuels.
I love how Simon drags in complete irrelevancies, than congratulates himself on his own brilliance.
The US has had the lowest inflation in the G7 for a long time.
Being the best of a bad lot is nothing to be proud of.
Being the lowest in the G7 does not prove that Biden hasn’t caused inflation.
He was too tired to go to the state dinner last night because he worked for a couple days in a row. Of course, most of that time he was on Air Force One, sleeping. Yes, he has reached that point in life where he needs a lot more sleep and a lot more rest. Just give him 4 more years and he will be comatose.
Oh, you think that is a legitimate charge against Mr. Luft?
Mr. Luft blows the whistle on the Biden Crime Family and next thing you know, the Biden administration is charging him with crimes. Coincidence?
Mr. Luft looks like a credible, damaging witness against the Bidens. That’s why they are going after him hard.
i don’t think the Biden Crime Family covered their tracks good enough. I think Biden is going to be hit with more and more of these revelations of corruption and criminal activity.
“Oh, you think that is a legitimate charge against Mr. Luft?”
Why would I not? If you think he is being set up then we will see when the evidence comes to light
“i don’t think the Biden Crime Family covered their tracks good enough.”
Well they seem to have done pretty well so far.
“I think Biden is going to be hit with more and more of these revelations of corruption and criminal activity.”
You mean fake charges that are easily batted off.
“You keep cheerleading for him though.”
I cheerlead for the truth. And to date I have seen nothing that Joe Biden has done that leads me to believe he is a corrupt politician. I think he should stand down because like Trump, he is too old, and I think this era of US politics needs to finish. It has been far too toxic.
“I have seen nothing that Joe Biden has done that leads me to believe he is a corrupt politician.” WOW… you are truly blinded by leftist love, aren’t you.
Trump has more energy than the young people around him.
There is no comparison between Trump and Biden as far as physical health is concerned.
I don’t know if Joe is just mentally ill, or still immersed in insane leftwing thinking, but either way, his thought processes are seriously flawed.
Trump is the sane one. He gets good things done. I’ll go with Trump, rather than an insane, leftist demagogue, and criminal, like Joe Biden.
Yes, I said criminal.
Joe Biden knew from the very beginning, in 2016, when he was vice president, that the Russia/Trump collusion claims were not true, yet, at the very least, he sat back and allowed his “Justice” Department and the FBI and other federal agencies to attack Trump using these false allegations, thus undermining the U.S. Constitution and making Joe Biden a criminal along with Barack Obama and everyone involved in the Obama-Biden administration.
They are all criminals and all tried to undermine the U.S. Constitution and the voting process using the power of the federal government against innocent American citizens. And I personally think that Barack Obama and Joe Biden orchestrated this attack on their political opposition. I can’t prove it, but I can’t see their minions doing what they did without direction/permission from the Top.
Yeah about that..how is that counteroffensive going? Joe Even admitted that we’re running out of artillery shells (was he supposed to say that? Probably not)… and your hero Zelenskyy was left behind at the nato summit looking like the little brother nobody wants to play with.
Liar, I only used him as one example of the dozens of whistleblower that have come out to expose the Brandon crime family, and are now being persecuted for doing so.
The DOJ/FBI are the Gestapo of the marxo-democrats including and especially Brain-Dead Brandon.
Simon, go tell Shawn Fain and his members, on a visit to Lordstown, that they should be more appreciative for all Biden has done for them. But I recommend you bring a few big muscled bodyguards, to make sure you get out in one piece.
The fact of the matter is that blue collar work today is not as good as it once was- half a century ago. There was also NO unemployment in the Middle Ages as everyone but the aristocrats were serfs. And those serf jobs provided steady work! How wonderful.
“He has worked and is responsible for getting the get the lowest unemployment rates in modern US history”
Joe is just standing on the shoulders of his predecessor. Over 500,000 jobs were created during Trump’s last quarter in office, and the continued job growth is because of Trump policies and an inherently strong American economy.
Everything Joe has done harms the U.S. economy and causes fewer jobs to be created. Just think what the U.S. economy would be doing if Joe had left Trump’s policies in place: 1.4 percent inflation, growth rate about 6 percent, gasoline prices about two dollars a gallon.
Biden is taking the credit, but the economy is the way it is despite Biden, not because of Biden.
Notice that Simon can’t point to a single thing that Biden has done that has strengthened the US economy. Like most leftists he just assumes that anything good that has happened since his guy to office must have been because of his guy.
On the other hand he will declare that anything bad that happens is Trump’s fault.
Yes, I would love to hear what Simon thinks Biden did that was good for the U.S. economy. Biden’s first day in office, he killed the Keystone Pipeline.
Presidents can affect certain aspects of the economy for good or ill. Trump basically gave the market a “leg up” to develop with tax cuts and regulation cuts, and the economy responded with real vigor, until the Pandemic shutdowns took place.
Biden, on the other hand, did everything that would hamper the economy from growing causing inflation, and higher gasoline and energy prices.
Any good in the American economy did not come from Joe Biden.
“Notice that Simon can’t point to a single thing that Biden has done that has strengthened the US economy.”
Oh yes I can. Wanna hear? I bet you do….
He has created more than 12 million jobs—including more than 800,000 manufacturing jobs, so now the unemployment rate is at a 54-year low, including near record lows for Black workers.
Signed into law the CHIPS and Science Act and Inflation Reduction Act. The Biden administration’s economic agenda—most notably the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act and the CHIPS and Science Act—has helped spur private sector investments in a range of areas.
The Biden administration sought to expand the capacity of U.S. ports to ease COVID-19-related supply chain bottlenecks that have fueled inflationary pressures.
Lowering gas prices by tapping the Strategic Petroleum Reserve
Lowering prices on groceries by cracking down on anti-competitive behavior…
Well you asked.
Once again, Simon assumes that if happened after Biden took office, Biden must have been responsible.
BTW, there was no inflation reduction in the Inflation Reduction Act, once again assumes that if the DNC says something it MUST be true.
Tapping the strategic reserve didn’t even undo the damage he had already done with canceling pipelines and new regulations.
Seeking to expand port capacity doesn’t create jobs, actually expanding port capacity could do so, but that takes decades.
Wow, perfecting the world through yet more unneeded regulations.
“Everything Joe has done harms the U.S. economy and causes fewer jobs to be created.” So he has record employment and you are saying it is because of Trump? Hmmm how long ago was Trump the president? I mean yes you can have run on after an election. Obama left the economy heading in the right direction and Trump kept it heading that way. But are you saying Trumps successes were all Obamas doing? I bet you are not, so why not give Biden credit.
“So he has record employment and you are saying it is because of Trump?”
Yeah, pretty much.
I can’t give Biden any credit because all the things he has done have harmed the U.S. economy and set it back. He created huge amounts of inflation with his reckless spending and his efforts to kill the oil and gas industries.
Running up cost of everything leads to job cuts not job increases, and if you look at the statistics, last month suppoedly created 209,000 jobs, but after a little scrutiny it is seen that only about 99,000 jobs were created, and the trend is *down*. We may be heading into a recession thanks in no small part ot what Biden had done in the few short years he had been in office.
If Biden did anything to improve the ports handling of cargo, it’t about the only positive thing he has done. And I don’t know if that’s the case or not, I’m just taking your word for it.
Sorry, Simon, but Joe really is the worst president evah! He is destructive to the nation in so many ways. He and his radical Democrat Party. They are Poison for our Republic.
Obama took a great economy, ruined it, and by the time he left it was barely beginning to recover.
After Trump’s tax and regulation cuts, the economy exploded into new activity.
“Obama took a great economy, ruined it, and by the time he left it was barely beginning to recover.” If you really believe the words you wrote then you are even more deluded than I thought. Obama inherited a failing economy on every scale. The dow was plummeting (You can check here https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/%5EDJI/) and his first task was to turn the global financial crisis around which he did with a major stimulus package. If you want to rewrite history Mark you need to choose events that are not easily checked. Obamas performance in his first years with regard to the economy was one of his highlights. And when he left 8 years later, the economy was in a very healthy state.
Trump had a LOT of fixing to do of sloppy, irrational agenda driven idiocies…., and actually managed to get some done despite all the dumbocrat LIES and FABRICATIONS.
“Trump had a LOT of fixing to do of sloppy…..”
And he certainly wasted no time doing that with a few quick visits to Stormy (sloppy) while his wife was giving birth to their son. What a guy…. so much integrity.
So you don’t think Donnie was screwing Stormy. Well you better tell his lawyer Cohen coz he went to prison for it….
And I have have no respect for Hunter B. He is a drug addled low life, but rightly, we are not responsible for the sins of our sons. Now if you have anything on Joe let’s hear it.
I wonder if the union workers will ever figure out that their leadership’s, joined at the hips, relationship with the Democrat party has been a bad deal for them.
Joe inherited an excellent economy, and has succeeded in not completely destroying it.
As usual, you spout whatever propaganda the DNC tells you to spout.
Clearly you don’t look at the results as they come in. Unemployment record low. And….I hope you note that I was correct re the US inflation now lower than nearly every developed country including Japan and Canada.. https://tradingeconomics.com/country-list/inflation-rate
Gooooo Brandon.
It really is fascinating how Simon actually believes that pointing out that there are countries with more inflation than in the US proves that Biden didn’t cause the current increase in inflation rates.
He inherited a struggling economy and turned it into a much better one.
Biden inherited an economy that was already in the process of recovering from the COVID lockdowns, and proceeded to immediately hamstring it.
The fake Green utopian world we have been promised so often just never gets out of the starting blocks does it.
All the Green jobs, all the new technologies, all the environmental positives, where are they?
There is a whole propaganda industry built around ‘bigging’ up the coming Green changes.
The new technology is always being developed in some far away place, China is favourite of course as no one can challenge the story of a new breakthrough where China is involved. The hype around sodium ion batteries replacing the now universally accepted negatives that surround the lithium ion current tech option, being one more useless example. Or maybe hydrogen being the go to option to replace natural gas heating systems? Interestingly the pilot village in northern England that was being forced to adopt the trial of hydrogen, has now been abandoned. The people there didn’t want hydrogen and made it impossible for the trial to take place.
The ongoing destruction of natural habitats in wild places to accommodate wind turbines plus the increasing bird kill of those remote industrial scale mincing installation has at last been spotted by joe public.
Solar on industrial scale yet generating next to nothing in our 50+ northern latitudes, gets full press coverage for its potential, while it’s actually destroying our landscapes and closing down our farming industries. Solar, is worse than wind energy projects and that is some achievement right there.
The ongoing deindustrialisation of the West must be stopped.
The Jobs, as per what happened in the UK certainly with domestic solar panels and insulation fitting – the jobs went to Fly-by-Night cronies and other crooks.
They ripped off the consumers, milked the system then – vanished.
As people now find with crumbling houses, damp getting everywhere in their homes and shonky solar systems.
Their houses, health and finances are wrecked and any warranties offered/given are totally worthless.
THAT is what this shit is all about and as happened when Rome fell (due to extravagant military expenditure, legions of cronies and the use of slaves to destroy their farms), they and the whole Rest of the World disappeared into 1,000 years of Dark Age.
Candles will be more useful than popcorn
Here’s a lovely, int she sweet.
We have already:
Hump Day HairityFriday Funnies….so what about…..Train Wreck Tuesdays?(Am not sure which Time Zone she’s in but gets it off to an epic start – it’s Wednesday here)
😀
edit:
Just wow; How old is she considering she’s been a DJ for 25 years? ‘Bay Area‘ = explains everything.
Same happened with cavity wall insulation and then with cavity wall insulation remediation. But that will be nothing compared to the coming disaster that installing 600,000 heat pumps per year from 2028 in the UK is going to be.
When an 18 acre solar “farm” was built next to my ‘hood, the company hired 40 electricians to do most of the work. It took them a few months- then they were laid off. So, these highly skilled workers have become like lettuce pickers. Work a site for a while, then do nothing for a while, then get another temp job 100 miles away, etc. Nothing like working at a steady job in a factory.
I doubt such jobs would count as “good paying”. Unless they are unionized, then they probably would be “good paying”, at least until the money runs out or they are replaced with robots.
Biden Devotes $36 Billion to Save Union Workers’ Pensions
“The money comes from last year’s Covid-19 relief package and will avert cuts of up to 60 percent in pensions for 350,000 Teamster truck drivers, warehouse and construction workers and food processors.
By Peter Baker
Dec. 8, 2022”
Republicans complain all the time about the billions of dollars being spent in Ukraine, but I’ve never heard one of them complain about Biden paying off the Democrat Unions with $36 billion, even once.
That’s a pretty good “get out the vote” payment, wouldn’t you say?
Not one peep out of Republicans.

The new battery and EV factories are mostly in right to work states. This is part of a long ongoing trend away from UAW production of all vehicles, not specific to EVs.
Electrification is creating IBEW union jobs to install charging equipment and upgrade the power system, though.
The Democrats are working hard to get rid of right to work laws.
Unfortunately there are a lot of workers who have no memory of how bad it was when if you wanted to work, you had to join the union.

Pay them with subsidies. Pay them with subsidies not to work at all.
Jobs will probably be going away anyway when the energy supply to our industrial base is all based on intermittent supply sources forcing most manufacturing to China and India.
We deserve this for electing so many stupid politicians and paying for the world’s most expensive education system that is primarily focused on political indoctrination.

Are the unions about to come out of the trance induced by the promises from the left that the members will benefit greatly from the green energy jobs? Which, any normie knows was a crock of crap. Critical thinking is obviously not required to be a union leader. Never has been from what I could tell over the decades.
I’m sorry, but robots are building your cars now. “Learn to code” I think, was Biden’s suggestion. Apparently, those who voted for him ignored his advice.

Remember when Obama’s “Green Jobs Czar” Van Jones was asked what a “Green Job” was and he couldn’t define it?
Here, I’ll help: Most of the high-paying “Green Jobs” are bureaucratic in nature and produce little of value to the economy.
re: “Where are those Good Paying Green Jobs?”
This is like ‘pushing string’ uphill …
You made a typo – “string” should be [starts with ‘sh’ and ends with ‘it’].
Pushing diarrhoea uphill with your nose!
“UAW to Biden: Where are those Good Paying Green Jobs?”
Here reference the parable that ends with “You knew I was a snake when you picked me up.”

But a “useful idiot”.

I saw an article the other day claiming the EV’s are stacking up in storage parking lots.
That sounds like an expensive fire waiting to happen.
I shared a story tip on that recently. Axios reports “The nationwide supply of EVs in stock has swelled nearly 350% this year”
That might have been where I saw it. 🙂

Yes, as explained to us by the salesperson. My wife and I both thought it was annoying as it did not change pitch only volume. It was raining and my wife is a very cautious driver so the car did not leave electric mode.

What a silly man you are. If you can’t back up what you say, you chief strategy is just to write nonsense … and hilariously the undiscerning crowd here cheer.
Well that was yet another incoherent response from you. Pertaining to nought… saying nothing.
You have just admitted CO2 don’t cause El Nino, and as El Nino is the only warming in the atmospheric data, CO2 cannot have caused the warming.
Thanks for finally getting your facts straight.
And what seriously empty and pathetic attempt in your Trump link. Grasping, like a monkey at a banana.
It was obvious that he just cut the word “country” off a bit to get quickly to the next point.
You are as empty of all rational thought, as you are empty of all rational science.
“You have just admitted CO2 don’t cause El Nino, and as El Nino is the only warming in the atmospheric data, CO2 cannot have caused the warming.”
I think you need to do climate change 101. ENSO is neutral, it neither warms nor cools the planet long term. Now if you have any information or links to the contrary let’s see them. But you wont because well… you are wrong.
And my point re Trump is he makes as many gaffs as Biden. In fact a lot worse.
Poor Simon, Looking at actual data and comprehending it, is really hard for you, isn’t it !
Your point is utterly contrived and nonsense BS, as usual.!
Blah blah blah. No comeback just noise. ENSO is neutral. I’m right you are wrong.
Poor little boy.
You have never been right about anything to do with climate in your life !
We know from UAH that the only atmospheric warming in the last 45 years has come at 2 major El Ninos.
Warming is not caused by enhanced atmospheric CO2.
Get over it
ENSO is neutral? Not in the last 3 weeks.
Short term thinking has always been a strength of your Mark… Oh and making things up.
“Short term thinking”
Zero-term thinking is all Simon is capable of.
“it neither warms nor cools the planet long term”
Do you agree that UAH shows atmospheric warming only at the 2 major El Ninos?
… or do you DENY the data that is in front of your eyes.
Just because you don’t understand data, or ENSO, doesn’t make you right.. it makes you WRONG. !
Do you have a credible link that says ENSO is the cause of the long term warming? If not, can I tell you in support of your failing credibility that saying something over and over again does not make it true.
“ENSO is the cause of the long term warming?”
Look at the UAH data, dolt.
Only warming is from El Nino events.. period.
Do you have a credible link that shows enhanced atmospheric CO2 causes warming… not assumption driven models, not mantra… credible science (I doubt you even have a clue what that means.
You have zero credibility… and it keeps sinking further and further with each gormless comment you make.
And there he goes again.
When falling behind, Simon has to drag in his lies about Trump.
Here is your big chance Make it up Mark… What did I say today that was a lie?
Poor Simon, basically everything you say is bitter and twisted arrant nonsense.
You get your “news and views” from CNN for a start. !
Then head downwards from that gutter.
Everything.
But he did invent a new word to describe America.
His idiotic policies wrt oil, gas, petrol, electricity, are also causing high inflation, which is making the whole country effectively much poorer.
You may not have noticed living in your hole, but the US now has the lowest inflation rate of all G7 nations. Go Brandon…..
Oh wow… less than the Eurozone… cheer the achievement (lol) 😉 !
And no, wrong again, Japan and Canada both lower inflation rates..
to be fair;
https://tradingeconomics.com/country-list/inflation-rate
You obviously, once again, are not up to date. US inflation year on year is at 3%.
https://nz.finance.yahoo.com/news/june-cpi-inflation-data-july-13-2023-123148137.html
Wrong again Slimo…
May is the only month they are all up to the date with
USA was above Japan and Canada.
Only a moron like you would compare different months.
Are you going to relocate to the marxist states of American anytime soon?
Pray not.
Being the lowest in the G7 does not prove that Biden hasn’t caused inflation.
https://tradingeconomics.com/country-list/inflation-rate
Look at these figures and weep……
Even if true, doesn’t address the claim was that Biden has caused inflation in the US to increase.
Comparing different months is what an ignorant dolt. does.
US was above Japan and Canada in May, the last month all 3 are up to date with.
Poor old Joe indeed.
He’s clearly past the senility threshold that should disqualify any 80 year old from having to work a full-time decision-maker job.
He needs handlers and carers constantly.
“Dr.” Jill Biden and the Democrats who form his cabal of manipulators should be prosecuted for elder abuse.
He was too tired to go to the state dinner last night because he worked for a couple days in a row. Of course, most of that time he was on Air Force One, sleeping. Yes, he has reached that point in life where he needs a lot more sleep and a lot more rest. Just give him 4 more years and he will be comatose.
He needed his cheat sheet to know when to say “hello”, and this Simon clown regurgitates the marxist-democrat talking points.
Nice to see you Karlo. Hey I see your friend Mr Luft has been in a bit of trouble this week. He has been charged with arms trafficking, sanctions violations and acting as an unregistered agent for China, according to a federal indictment unsealed on Monday.
https://www.nytimes.com/2023/07/11/us/politics/gal-luft-hunter-biden-indictment-justice-department.html
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T94_dPHygIw
Maybe not the credible witness to bring Biden down you were hoping for?
Oh, you think that is a legitimate charge against Mr. Luft?
Mr. Luft blows the whistle on the Biden Crime Family and next thing you know, the Biden administration is charging him with crimes. Coincidence?
Mr. Luft looks like a credible, damaging witness against the Bidens. That’s why they are going after him hard.
i don’t think the Biden Crime Family covered their tracks good enough. I think Biden is going to be hit with more and more of these revelations of corruption and criminal activity.
You keep cheerleading for him though.
Hunter Biden and Simon are birds of a feather.
Another silly moronic comment.
Same corrupt, immoral mind. !
Is he your closest friend ?
Irony blow-out.
Another attempt to insult rather than deal with the facts.
We know that the Democrats are very good at inventing fantasy crimes against their opponents.
Or are you too blinded by Biden worship to see that fact. ?
Yep, the Democrats are certainly highly toxic… evil, depraved, immoral… is that why you support them.?
Avoid repercussions by sliming their accusers with false crimes, aided by the far-left media like CNN.
You have never cheer-led for truth in your life.
You wouldn’t what “truth” is. !
“Yep, the Democrats are certainly highly toxic… evil, depraved, immoral… is that why you support them.?”
I love it when you talk dirty…
“Yep, the Democrats are certainly highly toxic… evil, depraved, immoral”
So you accept that as fact.. ok !
Not only does he accept it, he celebrates it.
Holy ends justify any means.
“I have seen nothing that Joe Biden has done that leads me to believe he is a corrupt politician.”
WOW… you are truly blinded by leftist love, aren’t you.
Good old 10% Joe !
CNN Simon is not based.
It’s hard to see when one refuses to look.
Will the Biden family stoop to the same methods of getting rid of their accusers as the Clintons?
How desperate will they get. !
Another lie.
You have to remember that Simon, like most leftists, defines truth as whatever the party says it is today. He just loves Big Brother.
Joe Biden is corrupt and he is a criminal.
And he really looks like he is fading fast.
Don’t forget that CNN Simon came into WUWT to push the Russia collusion hoax as hard as possible.
In Simon’s world, everything Biden’s DOJ does is righteous, even if it isn’t just or legal.
It is quite frightening how you can’t see the irony of what you write.
I write the truth, you write lies.
You can’t deal with that.
Only in your fevered TDS addled brain is this person my “friend”, batterycarboi.
Got a link that indicates I asserted such, liar?

Great link.., thanks Simon… 🙂
The DOJ/FBI are essentially the weaponised protection arm of the Democrats.
Equivalent to KGB, SSS etc…
Of course the DOJ/FBI hid all the evidence, avoided investigating the Bidens…
Dr Gal is lucky to be still alive.
Hunter’s laptop… massive of evidence… ignored and not investigated.
Dr Gal charged… no evidence presented… all political prosecution and fabrication.
This guy has FAR more credibility than anyone in the Biden family or Democrats in general.
The utter corruption of the Clintons, Bidens, the DOJ/FBI has been exposed…
“Dr Gal is lucky to be still alive.”
Luft is lucky not to be in prison… but it’s coming. He is crook no more. I see why you respect him….
Biden says he is a crook, therefore he is a crook.
I didn’t realise Biden has commented. Too busy securing up Nato and by all accounts doing a great job.
Biden got Zelenskyy confused with Putin, while Zelenskyy was standing there right next to Biden.
And that wasn’t the only gaff. Biden is going downhill.
Biden did give a very animated speech before the group, which kind of surprised me. I suspect he was drugged.
Looks like Simon has once again limited his reading to DNC handouts.
You really are an idiot!
Incredible.
Wasting the USA economy to prop up NATO and his son’s buddies in Ukraine.
This will come back to haunt the US badly
Yeah about that..how is that counteroffensive going? Joe Even admitted that we’re running out of artillery shells (was he supposed to say that? Probably not)… and your hero Zelenskyy was left behind at the nato summit looking like the little brother nobody wants to play with.
CNN Simon says he is a crook, therefore he is a crook.
Still going with “charged means he’s guilty” Simon?
Only for Republicans.
You have not seen any evidence, just fabrication from the Demonrat controlled DOJ.
I suppose you still think the Steele Dossier was real, as well !.
You really are a gullible little mutt.
Liar, I only used him as one example of the dozens of whistleblower that have come out to expose the Brandon crime family, and are now being persecuted for doing so.
The DOJ/FBI are the Gestapo of the marxo-democrats including and especially Brain-Dead Brandon.
Brandon is deep into the anger phase of dementia.
Simon, go tell Shawn Fain and his members, on a visit to Lordstown, that they should be more appreciative for all Biden has done for them. But I recommend you bring a few big muscled bodyguards, to make sure you get out in one piece.
Biden has spent all the money sending to his family’s chums in Ukraine.
Nothing left for the needs of people in the USA !
They obviously DON’T MATTER to Brandon.
Simon, do you by kool-aid by the case?
“Simon, do you by kool-aid by the case?”
He gets Hunter’s blood sent to him so he can take it intravenously diluted with his Klimate Kool Aids.. !
Poor simon.. he is well on his way to being as demented as Joe is.
“Everything Joe has done harms the U.S. economy and causes fewer jobs to be created.”
So he has record employment and you are saying it is because of Trump?
“Obama took a great economy, ruined it, and by the time he left it was barely beginning to recover.”
If you really believe the words you wrote then you are even more deluded than I thought.
Yahoo as a citation.. LOL !
Come on, you know you can stoop even lower !
Biden, the absolute opposite of integrity.
Again, you just “believe any SLIME that your gutter press invents. !
But when evidence is real, such as a laptop.. totally ignored.
You idolise the demented,
You idolise drug-addicts.
You idolise blatant liars and blatant corruption.
It is who you are.
And CNN Simon pulls up in his toy car to “blame Trump” while reciting Brandon regime talking points verbatim.
Clown.
Moron…. Oh that feels better.
Are there any left-wind conspiracies that you don’t propagate?
Take it up with the UAW, Simon. They’re the ones complaining.
“Joe inherited an excellent economy, and has succeeded in not completely destroying it.”
That’s a good way to put it! 🙂
“and has succeeded in not completely destroying it.””
YET !… But is working hard at it !
Only an ignorant clown compares different months.
US was above both Japan and Canada in May.
And now look at the mortgage rates.
Hope all those in the US like paying 7%+
More than TWICE what it was just 2 years ago.
Well done Dementia Jo.. !
Average long-term US mortgage rate surges to nearly 7% (boston.com)
And Trump inherited a booming economy too. No mention of that.
He inherited a struggling economy and turned it into a much better one.
Biden inherited an economy that was already in the process of recovering from the COVID lockdowns, and proceeded to immediately hamstring it.
Wrong as always.
Under Trump, the US was energy independent, that’s despite having to battle all the lies and fabrication of the lying scum Democrats
The demented one that you lick the boots of, has destroyed all that !
Nice trolling bro. But you know deep down what a train wreck this administration is
Those “good paying green jobs” are dependent on experience 🙂
Dylan Thomas “”A job is death without dignity” and by that he didn’t mean real work, for he was a very hard working man”.
(IIRC quote from Brendhan Behan’s “Ireland”)
….and what you can wring out of the taxpayer with experience-
Scientists develop ‘putty’ to repair Great Barrier Reef | Watch (msn.com)
“Good paying green jobs” are dependent on subsidies.
Those were lies. Just like everything that spews from Biden’s mouth.
Subsidies and tax breaks are the problem not the solution. End them and this charade will solve itself.
Quit yer bellyachin and just get on with it and adapt!
How to make net zero happen: ‘Get on with it and adapt’ (msn.com)
I’m not sure I’d want to sit in an EV packed with sodium any more than I would one packed with lithium!
Sodium ion batteries are not powerful enough to power SUVs and as the latter comprise over 50% of all EV models lithium ion still rules.
Lithium is atomic weight 6.9, while sodium is atomic weight 22.9.
I wonder how much heavier a sodium ion battery would be?
“The “good paying green jobs”
When an 18 acre solar “farm” was built next to my ‘hood, the company hired 40 electricians to do most of the work. It took them a few months- then they were laid off. So, these highly skilled workers have become like lettuce pickers. Work a site for a while, then do nothing for a while, then get another temp job 100 miles away, etc. Nothing like working at a steady job in a factory.
Maybe the steady work is in washing panels once a week.
I doubt such jobs would count as “good paying”. Unless they are unionized, then they probably would be “good paying”, at least until the money runs out or they are replaced with robots.
Joe Biden has paid off the Unions handsomely:
https://www.nytimes.com/2022/12/08/us/politics/biden-union-pensions.html
The only people who have ever benefited from the unions have been those who run them and the politicians who protect them.
Every benefit that has ever been claimed for the unions was already in progress before the first unions formed,
Democrats lying to another group in order to get their votes.
Surprise, surprise, surprise.
In other words, he has no problem with subsidies in general, he just wants more of those subsidies to be spent on his people.
Little of value?
They destroy value.
True. Every person they add to their headcount is literally a double-to-triple-whammy to the economy.
How do you tell when Biden is lying ? His lips are moving.
