Federal Health Minister Karl Lauterbach Accused of Making Up “Tens of Thousands of Heat Deaths”

From the NoTricksZone

By P Gosselin

Germany’s federal health minister makes up 300,000 fictional heat deaths, accused of spreading fear through the public.

Now that the Corona pandemic has been exposed as being for the most part as a large-scale vaccine swindle and government overreach, Germany’s federal minister of health Karl Lauterbach, SPD Socialists, has now shifted his focus on to a new scare story: summer heat deaths.

The solution: more government control.

Recently Lauterbach introduced his National Heat Protection Plan, claiming that there are between 5,000 and 20,000 heat-related deaths each and every summer. Especially older, chronically ill people, pregnant women, newborns and small children are at risk, according to Lauterbach. Lockdowns in some form or another may be needed when the weather is hot.

Lauterbach feels that the alleged summer heat death numbers 5,000 to 20,000 are more than enough to justify the implementation of a drastic nationwide heat protection plan. However, it turns out Lauterbach has wildly exaggerated the numbers by nearly 10,000 a year!

The newly created Nius.de here reports on Lauterbach’s gross exaggeration, and presents the true figures going back to 1990 (blue bars):

Chart: Nius.de

Lauterbach claims 5,000 to 20,000 (orange) die from heat in Germany annually, but the blue colored bars tell the reality.

Wildly exaggerated

Nius.de calls Lauterbach’s figures “completely made up”, and adds: “In 25 of the past 31 years there have been fewer than 5000 heat deaths, and in 17 of those years fewer than 2000. So Lauterbach is inventing tens of thousands of heat deaths.”

The mean of Lauterbach’s 5000 to 20,000 is 12,500. But the real mean from 1992 to 2022 is about 2500, which would mean Lauterbach made up some 300,000 fictional heat deaths for the period. That’s more than 100 deaths per summer day!

From or with heat

When NIUS asked the Federal Ministry of Health multiple times on which data basis Lauterbach made his claims, they never got an answer.

Perhaps Lauterbach now counts heat deaths like Corona deaths: If a patient dies from or during a heat wave, than the cause of death is heat.

Nius.de adds: “The figure of up to 20,000 heat deaths would indeed be disturbing – if it were not highly unserious. But that doesn’t move the minister at all. Following France’s example, he wants to be allowed to cancel events when it is very hot.”

Do note that the UK is finding that solar panels do not like sunny days, as they overheat and lose efficiency. The US just had a large solar panel farm completely destroyed by hail. Sturdy structures, they are not. Then, there is keeping them clean because even dust can lower their efficiency. Oh, wait, they also age and drop in efficiency quite a lot i 5 to 10 years, even leaking toxic metals into the ground. Yeah, what was we waiting for?

A friend, an engineer, who lives a few miles from me had solar panels installed over a decade ago (overall, the electric company pays him). He has kept track of their output, and has seen maybe 1-2 % degradation in that time. So, there are well-made solar panels, and there are the rest.

They will probably just recategorize “cold deaths” as “deaths due to climate change”, then lump them all together. Now, due to the greens sabotaging the electrical grid, causing many more cold deaths, they will have a larger headline figure of “climate change” deaths to use for their propaganda. I wish I was being sarcastic.

They could have had one or more other conditions, but adding COVID “done the mostly older/decrepit people in”.

The medical complex, aided and abetted by the scare-mongering government and lapdog media, made tens of $billions, classifying people as having/dying of COVID, because there were drugs to be sold, and money to be made, and papers and ads to be sold, and national regimentation methods being implemented and refined

I know someone who died WITH covid. In a traffic accident. It was still counted as a covid death.

No they don’t, you’re doing ‘auto-suggestion‘ or ‘recovered memories

i.e Hideous brainwashing techniques used by liars, cheats, scoundrels propagandists and now, to epic extent: Governments.

We all know ‘someone who died’ but what really actually killed them is often a mystery mixture of myriad possibilities.
People die
Climate changes
With with it or die

There are plenty folks out the who looked at Covid Vaccines and found no actual biologic material in them but what they all had in them was Aluminium..

Read the attached and weep – for the people that died of Aluminium poisoning whether you knew them or not.
See the symptoms = a lot of them= exactly what ‘Covid’ did to people
See those sorts of deaths still ongoing, esp in the UK’s present ‘excess death rate’ – at a 50 year high.

Oh you say, “Aluminium is everywhere and doesn’t poison anybody”

Fine yes maybe but all those sources of Ally are not water-soluble, or bioactive, and are NOT normally injected directly into your bloodstream – where the stuff becomes incalculably more toxic

Even before they were deficient in Vitamins A, B, C, D and E,
Also Copper, Iodine, available Iron, Zinc, Selenium, Cobalt, Lithium, Manganese and certainly not least, Magnesium. Probably nowadays also Sodium

While chowing down on ‘food’ laced with Glyphosate – which actively sucks those things right out of you. On top of it being a potent antibiotic
Also before epic consumption of sugar has wrecked most vestiges of their immune systems

You know ‘people who died‘, everybody does, but does even pause to think that 90%+ of them died of heavy metal poisoning, antibiotic abuse, a myriad of nutrient deficiencies.
And a diet that is actually ‘nutrient negative’ – because that is what ‘fibre’ and glyphosate do

iow: They died of starvation – most of it self inflicted and almost all of it by following Government Guidance

in a town of 400 majority of us are 60+ and most are 80s a few cases but zero deaths.
I DO know personally 3 who had severe adverse events from the jabs and related to friends another 2 with serious heart issues
One of the severe reactions died- a dear friend sadly missed.vaccine on tues ,in hospital with lung clots wed am died a few weeks later of complications.
Personally 4 of my friends, and my sister , who were vaccinated now suffer continual chest infections and sinus problems they never had prior.
I took ivermectin monthly for 2 yrs and only when I slacked off due to running low within 2mths I got covid. go figure

same for me with respect to ivermectin.

I took care of my daughter (twice … she got it once before the vaccine and once after) and did not get it (even though ‘I am not a horse’). I have not taken any of the ‘vaccines’.

I slacked off towards the end (couldn’t buy/find the paste, and simply used the topical; where I live the pills for people were not available) and delivered the Plaxlovid to my sick 81 year old mom (who had been vaccinated).

Just because something happens to you does not mean it happens to everyone.
The classic example is when the outcomes for children of single mothers is mentioned.
Single mothers always pipe up saying, well one of children is a doctor and another is a teacher, so you are wrong.
But, overall the stats are correct and individual experience is no indicator.
It also demonstrates the problem of using averages….

In the UK there are currently 228,277 deaths with Covid.
With a populatiom of about 70 million that means you would only need to have 300 acquaintances to know somone who died with Covid {Population / Deaths with Covid}.

I doubt anyone has 300 friends but 300 people you know? Seems plausible.

And if that still seems too high consider one step removed; you know someone who knew somone who died with Covid. That’s a certainty. Square root of 300 is about 17.5. You must know double that number of people.

In the USA (with its larger and more dispersed population) the figures are about 450 and 22.

By ignoring people’s real world experiences and conflating different issues you are doing the propagandists’ work for them.

As Covid was never isolated anywhere, it did not exist. The PCR test was patented as a Covid-19 test in 2015 (how can that be? but it was). It is clear this was a plan to weaponize the cold and flu season using a test that is really generic for coronaviruses (which includes cold and flu and panicking the public) and thus rename all of them Covid-19. This explains why “Covid” had so many different symptoms.

It was the misuse, abuse, and medical neglect, banning of effective pharmaceuticals, lockdowns, stress, ventilators, and non-application of antibiotics for pneumonia that killed many people, including those with comorbidities.

Then, they introduced the jabs based on unproven gene therapy and the spike protein which is known to be toxic (they also engineered it to be worse). The jabs could not do what they claimed, made people get sick more easily, sicker when infected, and die, more often. So, the jabs have killed even more, not to mention decreasing our immune systems (10–15% per jab) for future disease.Keep an eye on the next 4 to 5 years for continuing high excess deaths.

I meant “Knows” as in they had an acquaintance with someone who died with Covid. On reflection “knows someone who knew…” would have been better. The point I was trying to make was that Covid has been experienced by almost everybody,

And I deliberately used “with” not “of” as causation of deaths is quite contentious.

I stand by my point. By conflating two different issues you are doing the Green propagandists work for them.
People do know of deaths with Covid. People do know that insensitivity to that is rude and hurtful and wrong.

The actual data says the average heat related deaths/year is 2,500. The alarmist scare monger spokesperson says it is averaged at 12,500.
That five fold uplift of reality is about on par with the imaginary uplift in global temperature expected to be achieved by 2100 by the Climate Alarmists.
The alarmists suggest 2.5 to 5.00 deg. C uplift by 2100. The scientific projections suggest between 0.5 deg. C to 1.0 deg. C.
The other point worth making is no one knows how much of the uplift is due to human inputs and how much is natural variation.
Enjoy life, we live in a very benign climate with life being made ever more comfortable by technology and modern innovations.

It’s a new trend in politics. Very practical to shove all the vaccine related excess deaths under the umbrella of heat deaths while promoting climate change policies.

July 10, 2023 1:03 am

Ignoring my doubts about ever confidently measuring “excess deaths” (however you define an excess death): there will be people on the verge of death whose end was sadly hastened by a day or two or maybe a month or two during a heatwave. No one wants to die and I certainly don’t want to die uncomfortable—maybe while I am too warm.

Excess deaths is a tricky concept statistically and morally. The minister may be as sincere as he is fearful, but he’s flirting with blackmail. “Give up your way of life or the sick baby gets it!!

No noble cause was ever well-served by that kind of talk.

We will never know how many will die earlier than they might have because the healthcare system couldn’t afford to look after them because we unilaterally de-industrialized or drove our largest tax-paying energy companies to other shores.

Very good point.

40,000 deaths from poor air quality in London was reported some years ago by a group of doctors. Within minutes it was all over the news.

Then the claim was examined and it turns out these were mostly people at the end of life and their life expectation was subjectively assessed to range from a few minutes to a couple of days by these activist doctors.

In Civilization in Transition Jung states that this proverb “is a sad yet eternal truism” and our wolf-like tendencies come most prominently into play at those times of history when mental illness becomes the norm, rather than the exception in a society, a situation which Jung termed a psychic epidemic.

“Indeed, it is becoming ever more obvious” he writes “that it is not famine, not earthquakes, not microbes, not cancer but man himself who is man’s greatest danger to man, for the simple reason that there is no adequate protection against psychic epidemics, which are infinitely more devastating than the worst of natural catastrophes.”

Do the other aides give him a hard time about his extra responsibilities … do they have a back up plan if the first guy gets sick and can’t be there to ensure a quick change is available. Do they have a list of excuses, in preferential order, to explain his ‘issues’ if they do occur? Looking at his image, I wouldn’t be surprised if he said, “How’s yer mother off for dripping?”

Ha, what would be his death numbers from cold, which kills more that eight times those from heat. We also have A/C for summer, but maybe he is assuming Germany will have no electricity or have blackouts.

What was the “Corona pandemic?”

COVID-19 comes from a Corona virus. Corona virus common colds are common in East Asia and the Pacific Rim. About one third of common colds on the USA Pacific coast come from a Corona virus.

It’s all made up, innit? It seems all the “facts” used in climate scare stories are actually estimates, projections, or model results instead of actual measurements.

All those heat deaths! I guess he better stop anybody from Germany going to this year’s climate COP 🙂

As with all alarmist grifters like this, Vince, Kerry etc, they should be invited to take part in a live televised debate with world renowned climate realists where we can see first hand how their science stacks up against the real science – it’s the sure fired way to expose their self serving misinformation, or a great opportunity to educate them if they really are ignorant of the true facts around climate change, renewables etc etc

“… when it is very hot.” So typically unscientific – what is “hot” in Germany is a pleasant summer’s day in Texas, or here in California. (Lived in Germany for 2.5 years – reported temperatures were never “hot”.)

Germany’s southern border is north of Seattle! How often do summer temperatures even reach the 90s F in Germany? Seattle had record 100+ F heat a couple years ago – but close to zero heat related deaths – and half the residences in Seattle do NOT have air conditioning. The claim that Germany has hundreds or even thousands of heat related deaths every year is TOTAL fiction!

His problem is that he has a lot of excess mortality to explain. Better to blame the weather than the recent medical experiment.

Are there excess deaths?
Likely not.

As germany hasn’t warmed appreciably if the graph above is true the deaths are due to energy poverty meaning people cannot afford the energy to keep cool.

There is always a logical explanation; if there are more heat deaths, green energy policy caused them.
