New York City Mayor Eric Adams and Chief Climate Officer and New York City Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) Commissioner Rohit T. Aggarwala today released the city’s first integrated greenhouse gas inventory, which incorporates emissions from the production and consumption of food. Those emissions represent 20 percent of New York City’s overall emissions — the third largest source, behind buildings (35 percent) and transportation (21 percent).
Just like cars and individual liberty, the food will have to go. New Yorkers will look back nostalgically for the days when Mayor Bloomberg merely wanted to cut salt and ban soda. They’re coming for your meat, fish and eggs.
In response to the new inventory, Mayor Adams and Mayor’s Office of Food Policy (MOFP) Executive Director Kate MacKenzie also announced that the city will reduce absolute carbon emissions from food purchases across its city agencies by 33 percent by 2030.
Greenfield hits the nail on the head.
Just wait until they do an inventory of carbon emissions based on population and announce that they’re cutting the population by 33% by 2030. If you don’t think it’s coming, look to the history of the Left.
“New York City is leading the world when it comes to combating climate change, because we’re using every option on the menu in our fight — and that includes changing our menus, too,” said Mayor Adams. “This new emissions report shows us that plant-powered food isn’t just good for our physical and mental health, but good for the planet as well. We’ve already made great strides in reducing our food emissions by leading with plant-based meals in our public hospitals and introducing Plant-Powered Fridays in our public schools. Now, we know we need to go further. That’s why today, we’re committing to reducing the city’s food-based emissions at agencies by 33 percent by 2030 and challenging our private sector partners to join us by cutting their food emissions by 25 percent in the same time period.”

Tucker said he hated Trump “passionately” and that his presidency had been a disaster. Then he would go on TV and tell the faithful how great he was. That is dishonesty in its purest form.
He also said .“Our viewers are good people and they believe [the election fraud claims],” But all the time he didn’t, but still peddled it knowing it was damaging US democracy to its core.

If you haven’t worked it out yet Tom, the bottom line is Fox knew they were caught so had to come clean. It was better to settle paying 3/4 of a billion, than have all their dirty lined aired publicly. But this is just the first. Now we have Smartmatic asking for quite a bit more. And Rudi and Lindel and Powel. Messy….
Where was Dominion mentioned in the examples above?
General “it was stolen” statements aren’t relevant to one particalar vendor, no matter how widely used that vendor’s equipment.
There were some rather creative stories doing the rounds, but none of the above are specific to Dominion.
Specific enough for Murdoch to hand over nearly a Billion dollars.
That may well be the case, but not those ones.
OK here’s a few quote that directly or indirectly imply Dominion and Smartmatic are committing voter fraud.

Lou Dobbs last one is obviously not endorsing what you said. And the hosts are agreeing with them in in many cases and clearly are not disputing or even questioning what they are saying. i.e peddling and pushing the lie on their shows.

Why does New York City have a Chief Climate Officer? Why does it have an Office of Food Policy? Government staffs such nonsense to employ people who are otherwise unemployable, but who provide moral support to the Mayor. The mere existence of these offices, and lord knows how many others, tells a person all we need to know about our exponentiating public debt and why government so poorly meets the peoples’ needs.
That such fools as create and staff these offices would quickly get around to atrocities goes without saying.
We here knew this, we’ve always know this is where this was heading. The trouble will be there will be millions or billions starve before enough people push back. It’s the way it always goes.
They are getting close to speaking the obvious aloud; that they want to drastically reduce the population of those pesky peasants.

When humans went from meat eating to eating grain they lost inches of height and years of life expectancy. Also, if the entire state of NY removed all past and future CO2 emissions from the atmosphere it would have no impact whatsoever on the climate.

The NYC premise is a canard. The emphasis on more plant based food implies that beef and dairy ruminents producing methane is bad. Methane is a GHG in the laboratory in dry air. It has almost no effect in the real world because it’s absorption bands are completely covered by water vapor absorption bands, and water vapor is MUCH more abundant.
Shows the mayor and the Commissioner and the Executive Director have no clue what they are doing.

I wonder what the carbon profile is for human emissions after consuming humus or calorie equivalent chicken breast. Or a pint of IPA high in dextrin. Fermentation creates lots of carbon dioxide and the energy used to mash and boil wort also produces lots of carbon waste and the human hydrocarbon emissions from high dextrin beer is a really horrid thing. So they better ban alcohol and especially high dextrin IPA. LOL.
New York City does have some fancy restaurants. Thanks to Hizzoner Eric Adams, they will probably move to Long Island, northeastern New Jersey, or southwestern Connecticut.
