Here is the Washington Post article (Web | PDF) by the Capital Weather Gang’s Matthew Cappucci about a new study in Geophysical Research Letters.
Note the certainty of the headline (above) and opening paragraphs (below), including the certain attribution to “humans”, a synonym for manmade emissions of greenhouse gases.
Now compare that certainty with the last paragraph of the study’s analysis, especially the highlighted portion.
Note the incongruity… Cappucci’s false presentation of certainty vs. the study authors’ clear admission of uncertainty.
Unfortunately, Cappucci seems to be a committed climate propagandist working at a propaganda outfit committed to the climate hoax. Since our last clash, he blocked me on Twitter.
The WaPo masthead reads “Democrats Dies in Darkness”… especially when you leave the inconvenient truths buried in the paywalled study.
It is people like Mathew Cappucci that I no longer trust the mainstream media.

A couple of days ago, Joy Behar of the comedy show “The View”, urged reporters to do whatever it takes to raise doubts in the minds of Republican voters.
Silly me, I thought the job of reporters was to report the news. It wasn’t their job to help shape the narrative.
It is a reflection of the sad state of what used to be known as journalism.
It seems to me that if one is going to blame recent rainfall increases on warmer temperatures, one would have to show data that recent temperatures would also have increased. Given the recent pause in temperature increases, that would be quite a feat.
Rainfall is NOT increasing everywhere, although the official, (human-fiddled) global picture claims it is increasing.

My guess is that about half the cities in the world have decreasing rainfall, half increasing rainfall. What mechanism, like alleged CO2 global warming, allows such long term and obvious exceptions as Melbourne? Where in my graph is there a change in trend that folks could say is caused by CO2? I cannot see one. Geoff S

That was fast. Only a couple of days ago WUWT published our article about fiddled Australian temperature data. Today WUWT tells us a big CSIRO climate program is scrapped.
