In an attempt to get some control over the acute energy crisis now sweeping across Germany, the government implemented not long ago some measures to reduce gas and electricity consumption.
Energy consumption restrictions
For example, shops and businesses are not allowed to leave doors and windows open. After 10 pm, illuminated advertising must be turned off. At night, monuments and other sights can no longer be illuminated. Public buildings like city halls etc. will not heat their hallways anymore and the temperature in the offices is not allowed to exceed 19 degrees Celsius.

And if you own a private pool, you are not allowed to heat it with gas or electricity anymore. To make sure this energy transgression never happens. the Quartiersmanagement Grunewald (Grunewald Neighborhood Management), “an Antifa squad”, has recently devoted itself to heating inspections, reports German bankruptcy monitoring site Pleiteticker.de here. “They are voluntarily turning themselves into the long arm of the state and want to check whether the federal government’s energy-saving regulations are actually being adhered to.”
Collectivizing swimming pools, saunas
Under the motto “Heat to the public good” the group wants to patrol the villa district in the upscale district of Grunewald and check whether the pools of the residents are being illegally heated.
On Twitter, the radical Antifa group writes: “If we find a hot pool in the villa district, it will be immediately collectivized in the sense of public pool parties.” But not only pools, also “sighted saunas will be directly socialized.” They add that they will also be accompanied by punk rock bands.

And if they see any good-looking women, they will be “collectivized” also.

These control freaks will alienate more and more people with their judge and jury eco fascist ideology.
Oh, look, Germany is going through another crisis and the jack boots and brown shirts are being reactivated. This should go well.
Many years ago now, a friend of mine from Bavaria once told me that the Germans never threw away their jackboots, they just put them in the back of the cupboard. She was being entirely serious at the time and now I keep being reminded of her words.
Be sure and hunt down the American tourist energy wasters and their thermostat settings in the rental units.
Not sure about Germany, but in the USA a victimized property owner has a right to escalate through a sequence of Civil Law scenarios, and converting into Criminal Law, like Confrontational Trespass. Depending on the level of Citizens Arrest requirement in each state, for instance Gross Misdemeanor versus lower level of Felony, the use of sufficient force to effect the arrest is permitted. Yes, I had personal experience with an Earth First person and it did not end well for him (thrown into a cactus plant). Remember the First Rule of a Gun Fight: Have a Gun.
Some capsaisin oil floating on top of the pool should liven thing up at the party. Some poison ivy or oak on the rocks of the sauna could also discourage such behaviour.

I would just drop a 240 volt wire in the pool with the Antifa for them to enjoy. It would be real fun as my pool is a salt pool. Crazy conductivity😱. Might even make a fire show with the result of the induced electrolysis.

As a gesture of goodwill, each of these fine people should be given their own allotment of 150 megajoules of heat energy. Ideally all at once.

There is what these people say (save the whales!) and what they want (the cool stuff successful people own).
Many of the Left cannot or will not accept that life isn’t actually remotely fair and that some people will achieve greater success than others. Yes some have a silver spoon but regularly you find that the successful people who rise above the normal are the ones who are willing to put in the hard work in the first place.
Many of the Left still do not accept that success and hard work are directly linked and instead demand equality, something that in itself totally ignores that equality is something society has steadfastly refused to do since the first proto humans realised that if you are better than the others then you get more of your peers offering to pick lice out of your hair.
Being better gives advantages. Fair? Not remotely, but that is also the point. Society does not want to be equal, they want to be better.
The Left is about jealousy of those who have more success and their aim is – in the name of ‘fairness’ – gain control of everything to enforce rules that will ensure no one is ever more successful than them ever again.
And to be fair you need rules. To have rules you need enforcement. If you are enforcing rules you are suppressing freedom.
Fairness and Freedom are opposites. Deal with it.
Like Direct Taxation and Freedom are opposites. In the US Form 1040 tells you exactly what you are. A number. And numbers have no human rights.
To think that after WW1 an Australian soldier and engineer took home engineering details of Germany’s brown coal fired power stations and the Victoria Government backed his plan to build power stations and an electricity grid.
There are heated pools here in Canberra in winter. Many of them are actually used for treating recovering surgical patients (like my husband’s knee replacement) or people with disabilities. Perhaps if an antifa group here was to get active and the heating to the pools tuned off, then a long boathook to keep the grubs in the pool until they are VERY cold may be a useful accessory.
I was on the swim team in High School and briefly in college.
The difference between a heated pool and unheated pools during the winter is severe.
Having to get out of the water shivering and teeth chattering to go take a hot shower is not unusual.
Colds and other noxious infections become common and more severe.
Out HS swim coach banned people with so much as a runny nose from entering the water. A severe cold ruins weeks of training; think miles of swimming effort.
I think a couple of tubs of indelible green dye are called for here. After all, they claim to want everyone one to be green, so they should set an example.
The surface around pools can get wet and slippery. It would be a shame if 15 or 20 of them slipped and fell into a pool and drowned before help could arrive and remove the cinder blocks they had tried to steal.
