Royal Hypocrite: Climate Warrior Prince Harry Flew in a Private Jet, then Waited for the Car

Essay by Eric Worrall

Prince Harry spent half an hour in the jet on the ground, with the engines idling, waiting for the Polo gear he left behind to be delivered in a black Range Rover.

Not very eco-friendly! Prince Harry sits in idling $9 million private jet for 30 minutes while he waits for staff to arrive in gas-guzzling Range Rover to deliver his forgotten polo kit

  • Prince Harry was spotted arriving at a Santa Barbara airport in an electric Audi SUV, before boarding the $9 million Bombardier Challenger 600 on Wednesday
  • He was  about to jet off for an annual polo event at the Aspen Valley Polo Club to join his long-time friend polo star Nacho Figueras
  • Argentinian Figueras, who has played polo alongside Harry many times, attended his wedding to Meghan Markle and he was the first of the royal’s friends to meet his son Archie in 2019
  • The jet belongs to multi-millionaire US businessman Marc Ganzi, who is a close friend of the Royal Family and a polo enthusiast

Prince Harry was spotted arriving for a flight on a private jet to set off for a one-day polo match – before the aircraft sat idling on the tarmac for at least 30 minutes as it waited for his staff to arrive in a gas-guzzling SUV to drop off his polo kit.

The Duke of Sussex boarded the $9 million Bombardier Challenger 600 at a Santa Barbara airport around 11am on Wednesday to head to the event in Aspen to compete in a round robin tournament.

Harry, who regularly preaches his views about the ‘climate crisis’ hitting the world, arrived at the airport close to his $14million Montecito home in an electric Audi SUV.

But he then sat in the idling private jet for 30 minutes before the royal’s staff arrived with his polo gear in a black Range Rover at around 11.35am.

According to the Daily Mail, Prince Harry started his journey in the seaside down of Montecito, where he apparently owns a house – the same town Al Gore lived in. Presumably he wants a close up personal view of that rapid sea level rise climate worriers keep predicting.

The funniest part is Harry only had to wait half an hour in the jet, for the black Range Rover to make the trip by road with all his Polo gear, so it must have been a very short jet flight. The jet engine was kept idling while Prince Harry waited, presumably to power the air conditioner.

Prince Harry’s excuse for flying, when challenged, is he is worried about his family’s safety. But surely it would be cheaper and less CO2 intensive to just hire an extra bodyguard.

What can I say – obviously the climate cuts Prince Harry urges are only meant for the peasants. Ordinary people won’t get a pass, even if they believe they have a legitimate reason to fly. In our green future, only special people like Prince Harry will get a pass to break the rules.

Is that Challenger electric? Actually it’s the jets APU that’s idling but still….
Probably used the Rover because the Battery is Dead on the EV…

Harry was being incredibly environmental.

Instead of having the eTron do a round trip of an hour to collect his polo gear, thereby having the jet idle for all that time, he halved the jets idling time by whistling up a 30 minute, one way trip by a slave in a gas guzzling Range Rover.

Never let it be said that Harry doesn’t care for the environment.

Did the slave stay at the airport?
Maybe he was there to plug in the EV.
Wait for Harry to return with the gear to be washed.
Then drive it all back.

More like a chunk (a very thick chip).

His climate advice applies to you,
but not to him. That’s the benefit
of being an elite.

Sorry but no one can touch Trudeau for virtue signaling hypocrisy on this file.
He spent the entire summer on his jet politicking and vacationing racking up enough miles to circle the planet several times.

Poor Harry is such a dope, just google him and Calgary Cowboys barmaid Cherie Cymbalisti, maybe he’s not as dumb as he looks.

Maybe he is – just google Cherie Cymbalisty and find out who else she’s hooked up with over the years. Before Meghan though – but he has been spotted being friendly with blondes since his marriage, occasionally at polo matches. Perhaps his ‘forgetting’ his polo gear wasn’t quite the mistake after all.

Harry: “Climate crisis for thee, not for mee!”

To be even-handed with (soon to be) old Harry, it would have been the APU (AlliedSignal GTCP 36-100E APU for that aircraft type) running the air-con and electrics during the ground-wait.

That is, unless the flight-crew were extremely dim-witted (and possibly criminal) and didn’t care about the trip-fuel and required taxi, diversion, and holding reserves (which is a legal requirement for commercial aviation).

So, assuming they used the APU, that’d be about 150-400kg of fuel per hour, depending on the electrical and air-conditioning (bleed-air) load.

That’s STILL a lot of JET-A1 fuel for a polo-match!

Meanwhile in Canada the jetsetting Justin (son of Fidel) is advertising for Climate Police at $75+k a year

In the green future where only the special people get to fly, I envision vast mobs storming runways and thrashing jets.

Thrashing as in beating them with fists and sticks or as in racing them round and round the runways like boy racers in a car park?

If the rich, famous and powerful climate cultists had to abide and live by their own rules they are imposing, or trying to impose on we peasants, the entire alarm and scam of Climate Change and AGW would be gone in a New York minute and Earth would be declared just fine and dandy!

Polo? I take it that horse, unlike cows, never fart? Is this why there is no movement to get rid of horses, too?

Personally I’m on a cliff edge-
Increasingly dysfunctional society and climate catastrophe leading humanity to ‘cliff edge’ (msn.com)
Forget the jet and the polo pony but I want my cheap power and the Tesla I was promised.
