In 2017 I wrote a post analyzing the data and literature surrounding the human impact on Earth’s environment. The analysis uses the U.N. IPCC’s definition of environmental harm. The sources are peer-reviewed articles or government and U.N. agencies. It is a very straightforward reporting of the facts and data.
That Linkedin banned David’s recommendation of the post shows we are becoming a totalitarian state, with thought and opinions regulated by corporate overlords. Honest, free discussion based on observations and straightforward statistical analysis is banned.
Obviously, Linkedin did not like the conclusion of the post:
We are living in a time of nearly boundless prosperity. The rate of poverty has plunged to unimaginable lows. This is a time when the definition of poverty in the United States is set so high, a poor person in the U.S. would be the envy of any wealthy person prior to World War II. Inequality in the world is at its lowest level ever and decreasing at a rapid rate. People who were born in abject poverty can now become doctors and lawyers. Why we still have doomsayers predicting the end of the world is beyond my understanding.
I guess if you hate humanity and yourself, that would be offensive.
To me LinkedIn is a site to post a resume or CV and network with other professionals in your career field and so potential employers can see your work history and resume. Not sure why you write a climate post like that on LinkedIn. I mean I completely understand that Climate Alarmism is a fraud on the public, but to me LinkedIn isn’t the site for a post like that.
The may be the original purpose of linkedIn, but it’s been more of a typical social media site for a long whole now. While you might not think that type of post would be appropriate, there’s plenty of such posts from the opposite view on the issue that don’t get deleted/banned, so clearly the topic is OK on there just as long as you are towing the party line.
It’s not about hating humanity. It’s about having to acknowledge conservative capitalists actually cared about the great unwashed.
I’ll give you my library card when you pry it from my cold, dead hands.
LinkedIn’s chairman and former CEO, Jeff Wiener, is climate crazy. I watched a leadership webinar a while back, the only animated part was when he talked about what he thought was the most important problem.
No need for the government to limit speech when the corporations will do it for them.
When in history have those who wanted to limit speech been the good guys?

Either David closed his account (perhaps in protest of the censorship) or he is in social media time-out for being a bad boy.
The WOKE VIRUS has infected so many in our world. Until the uninfected people fight back hard – through boycott & political activism, the WOKE VIRUS will continue to spread and do damage.
The manipulation of man by man will only be surpassed by the manipulation of man by machine.
Is it really any wonder why the psychopaths in “control” continually occult information that would be beneficial to man?
Perhaps the roots of all of the silliness from the last 20 years will become more transparent and we will see who our tormentors are.
It brings me to think of Yamamoto expressing his concerns after Pearl Harbor, which was something to the effect of waking a sleeping giant and filling him with a terrible resolve.
More proof that my avoidance of social media platforms like linkedin is a wise decision.

LinkedIn terminated my login and account. And they didn’t bother to tell me why, except for telling me that I am terminated! Why should I bother giving LinkedIn’s ‘Supreme Court’ my U.S.A. Passport and Real ID and SSN info (likely they would then want my financial accounts info) when all they will do is sell it to an illegal !

it’s linkedin….. microsoft….. big tech overlords…. WTH did you expect? stick to platforms that let you post what you want…. they’re obscure at the moment, but only because everyone continues to use the overlord media because of they’re well known and have a big reach… you want to change that? start using the little guys not currently beholden to the overlords… and when they do get woke (which they will) move on again… until there is nowhere left to run to…. but by then we’ll be completely screwed already so it won’t really matter anymore.

A few years ago, an edict came down from the Japanese government that their vehicles were to become electric powered, because of global warming, and CO2. They learned that their island nation could not produce enough electricity to run the nation’s vehicles.They have tried to warn us, but nobody’s listening. Pres. Biden wants to power all our vehicles with wind and solar, offshore wind on all coasts, but could we create enough electricity to power all our vehicles and have enough power left over to light the nation, keep us warm and have our industry? I can’t get any answers.
