Swedish Scientist Proposes Cannibalism to Fight Climate Change

CHRIS TOMLINSON
6 Sep 2019

Swedish behavioural scientist Magnus Söderlund has suggested that eating other people after they die could be a means of combatting climate change.

The scientist mentioned the possibility of cannibalism during a broadcast on Swedish television channel TV4 this week about a fair in Stockholm regarding “food of the future”.

Söderlund is set to hold seminars at the event, entitled “Gastro Summit — about the future of food” where he intends to discuss the possibility of eating people in the name of cutting down greenhouse emissions.
According to his research, the main problem with the idea is the widespread taboo of eating human flesh and said that conservative attitudes could make it hard to convince Swedes at large to take up the practice of cannibalism.

I think on some level we all suspected it was only a matter of time before a climate fanatic seriously suggested such perversion.

I can understand someone in extreme circumstances making an impossible choice, like the survivors of Flight 571 which crashed on an ice field in the Andes. But to suggest that cannibalism is something the world should seriously consider, as just another conservation measure; how has the world come to this?

“I can understand someone in extreme circumstances making an impossible choice, like the survivors of Flight 571 which crashed on an ice field in the Andes.”

They ate the people who died in the crash. This story is about deliberately killing people to eat to reduce population to fight climate change. Totally different situation and anyone suggesting it need medical help IMO, unless they were joking.

Who gets to decide who eats and who gets eaten?

Two climate alarmists were eating a clown. One said to the other, “Does this taste funny to you?”

A joke to reality?

What a sad commentary!

Now that’s an offal thought.

Magnus and Bernie Sanders need to get together. Between the two of them they have the solution to both population control via abortion, and ending hunger in third-world countries. A Nobel Price surely awaits them.

Alarmists. An endless parade of nut cases proposing disgusting solutions for problems that do not exist. One thinks eating long pig is the solution and the next thinks eating bugs and grubs is the answer. Then others, like a current presidential candidate thinks that killing off kids, preferably African kids, is the way to deal with it. Others support infanticide here in the states so much they cheer as a law allowing it is passed. And they say Donald Trump is dangerously “unstable”?

“how has the world come to this?”

Liberals have always devalued the lives of humans.

When they aren’t killing people by the 10’s of millions, they are advocating even worse.

When I die plant me under a tree and in due course convertme to an Apple pie. IF I die at sea feed me to the fish and enjoy your sushi. Either way it isbenign cannibalism and my carbon footprint is converted temporarily to footprint or finprint.
You will get the benefits a nd so will the planet sono need to put me into supermarket pies as horsemeat substitute

Magnus Söderlund – why don’t we just start with him? Then proceed to others like him, and then herd the entire population of Greenbeans (see what I did there?) into lots they can’t escape and make sandwiches out of them?

I’ll have the Magnus cheeseburger with extra pickles, please.

Would you like fries with that?

How did we get to this? By denying objective truth. “If there is no god all things are permissible.”

Washington State is legalizing the composting of dead humans and disposing them anywhere and everywhere. They are oblivious to the dangers of prion diseases such as kuru, Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease and Mad Cow. They have chosen to expose many future generations to an incurable madness and death just to avoid using a little carbon energy for cremations.
The brain and spinal tissue, even eyes, CSF and organs of prion disease victims are quite toxic. No amount of time or chemicals can render prions harmless, only the extreme heat of cremation can destroy them.
A diagnosis of prion disease is easy to miss. Ingested prions may take over a decade to replicate enough for the disease to manifest, and the symptom is confusion and psychosis similar to Alzheimer’s or drug overdose. If a crazy person got killed running out into traffic and a brain biopsy not conducted, the garden or playground where their toxic remains are deposited on is forever contaminated with lethal molecules.

All of the diseases you mention exhibit symptoms similar to manganese poisoning, which is a more reasonable, evidence-based etiology. I read a report once about a hotspot of deer wasting disease in Colorado that mentioned the soil was high in manganese (the author was unaware of the possible connection). Kuru was probably caused by manganese oxide ash from a local volcanic eruption contaminating their food.

But the entire native population across New Guinea were traditionally involved in cannibalism, so why Kuru in just one tiny region? A more likely explanation is the massive eruption of a local volcano in 1911 which showered the foodchain of the Fore region in a black manganese oxide ash.

Environmental toxins might stress proteins enough to mutate them, but to delberately and directly ingesting mutant proteins is cutting out the middleman.

I am not surprised that this suggestion comes from Sweden. It has , as they say ,” form ” in practices that are , by modern standards , less than human.
Whilst many countries experimented with eugenics in the 20th cent for reasons of “racial purity” and “ethnic hygiene” none were as enthusiastic as the Swedes , according to the article from the Guardian:
https://www.theguardian.com/world/1999/mar/06/stephenbates
Not surprising either is the comment that this policy was favoured particularly by those on the Left , and so -called “Liberals”. To quote from the article (in a notoriously left leaning paper):

-“Academics say the Swedish programme started as a large-scale experiment in racial biology but after the war aimed to weed out social problems.
As in Britain, where some of eugenics’ most enthusiastic supporters were on the political left, liberals and Social Democrats backed the Swedish programme and sustained it for decades.”-

The Swedish politics led by the Labour party during the 1930’s and 1940’s, in some aspects inspired the German counterpart. What are friends for? [sarc]

Regarding the article in The Guardian, I got a good laugh, when I read this: “Guardian journalism is free from commercial and political bias and not influenced by billionaire owners or shareholders.” Well, they can keep telling themselves that …

It has been suggested that certain political figures are already indulging in this practice, as they seem to be subject to a form of twitching that is associated with cannibalism. I suppose we need to look out for a new version of Mad Cow Disease, that was promulgated by feeding offal, including nerve tissue, of cattle back to the same species. I somehow doubt that the church of climate alarmism, being a death cult, would have a problem with such an “abomination of nature”.

It’s just another attack on the culture, values, moral and ethics that has been handed down to us trough history. So when we die our bodies become State property? The next will be all our belongings to?

Yes, they are basicaly trying to turn the whole of human society upside down. They are trying to destroy the established to make way for their new. A very unpleasant “new” from every indication.

How does the math even add up. Let’s say for every 2.5 births there is 1 death (average over world population) . That means if I eat only 2.5 people over my lifetime I’m carbon natural. I’m going to need more than that. Also I have questions.

Do I get more credit for eating them alive because the ratios will improve?
If I eat a vegan alive dies than count negatively?
Had anyone studied methane production vs eating humans.
We already eat human skin in form of dust. Can I get credits for entering other people’s dust rooms?

All this talk of food is making me hungry.

When Columbus came upon a cannibal island, called Satanasia on his maps (Guadelupe?), the soldiers were horrified at the smell, thought they were in hell. The locals pillaged neighboring islands for human food. Not too far away there was no sign of this.
Next they found the sacrificial temples of Mexico, where tens of thousands of teenagers were regularly “sacrificed”, not sure if also treats were eaten, and thought indeed this is hell. The narrative was to make sure the Sun rose in the morning.

The woke of course say Columbus was the bad guy.

So this has happened often before, the Swede likely knows this, and why. I wonder if Greta has heard of this?

How did we come to this? I think that when a large majority of young men and women in 1st world countries spend 1/3 and more of their waking lives immersed in the make believe worlds of video games, it has to have an effect. Has to. Adolescence begins and never ends. Only a child believes in such nonsense. That a trace gas among trace gasses can somehow have a multiplicative effect on local, regional, and global weather and climate is patently absurd and ridiculous. ONLY A CHILD BELIEVES SUCH NONSENSE. Yet, here we are, actually debating whether we should consider eating one another to save the planet. I’m sure there’s a video game or two with cannibalistic characters. And you gotta admit, as crazy climate solutions go, this one’s “edgy,” right? Everyone nowadays demands to be noticed. Everyone demands to be heard. Look at me! Look at me! Everyone is convinced that he is special and has a closetful of participation trophies to prove it. Yeah, I’m convinced that the countless hours spent playing video games has warped the minds of an entire generation. And when they’re not furiously thumbing a game controller, they’re obsessively swiping up, down, left, and right with their dumbphones. Google spoonfeeds them propaganda, and they get their revisionist history from Wikipedia. It’s no wonder we haven’t been conquered by Belgium by now.

As a Swede, living in this totally crazied, however rather Beautiful country, I’m sad to read/learn from various fellow Citizens brain-dead ‘actions’ and sayings – see Greta T… On the other hand, it’s very good that the ‘news’ from here get known outside this mentally/intellectually concentration camp.
And on behalf of the (few) remaining, common sensed people here, I apologize deeply.
This country IS a ‘constructive total loss’ and it’s going to take eons to get it straight again, if ever…
I’m ashamed of being a Swede nowadays.
