I think this time the “crying wolf” about CAGW is being seen by a lot more people than in the past. We had the inflamatory IPCC report and then the U.S. government report both predicting calamity in a matter of years, and now Rep. Ocasio is making this 12-years-to-doomsday CAGW claim which is being spread far and wide in the media.
So the alarmists are scaring a lot more people with these latest CAGW scares and the timeline is short enough that lots of people are going to be able to see just how wrong and over the top these scare stories really turned out to be.
