lt looks like it could be the UK’s turn for cold and snow as we move into the next weekend. As a area of low pressure looks like tracking along the Channel and drawing down cold air from the north and east.
I remember seeing that snow in the sierra was to become a thing of the past according to the experts….

Somehow, I suspect that the weak La Nina pattern is somehow contributing to the current weather in the U.S. Here in Colorado Springs, we’re right on the edge of the cold — it moves in and out from the northeast. Yesterday, it was 68 degrees, but Sunday night it is forecast to go down to 4.

Over the past five weeks, it has been well above the mean curve. Could be some El Nino hanging around?
