It is embargoed for 6AM EDT tomorrow and I will respect that embargo, look for the full details here then. (6AM EDT/3AM PDT)
I can tell you what’s NOT in it for now; no carbon tax/excise tax increase on gasoline that I can find.

Just a reminder to those that blog: we’re already seeing a massive coordinated effort by the alarmists to use ridicule against the non-believers who blog. Don’t let this get you down.
If you note any blogger repeatedly making disruptive blogs, I would advocate pushing the report button. We need to send a message to the media outlets that this sort of uncivil behavior is not to be tolerated.
Tomorrow, do everything you can to ridicule and disrupt the Alarmists, who are ridiculing and disrupting the “non-believers”. Make their day miserable. Thank you for listening.
We are sitting in the smallest room of the house, with SHD’s latest reptilian hiss before us. In a moment, it will be behind us. (Apologies to Max Reger.)
Environmental groups claim to have been briefed.

More renewable energy on public land. Probably well-subsidized.
Undoubtedly even better funded: Renewable energy on low-income housing sites.
Carbon limits on power plants will also hit pocketbooks.
Hang on to your wallets, it’s going to be an expensive ride.
What does it matter?
The Holocene will either go long, like MIS-11 did. Or it won’t. Like MIS-19 didn’t.
The other two MPT to present interglacials which have also occurred at an eccentricity minimum. So, 50:50, at best.
But it could be worse than you thought. In two ways. First, 7 or the last 8 interglacials have each lasted about half a precession cycle (which varies between 19k and 23kyrs). We are at the 23kyr end now, with 11,500 years being half. Our Holocene is presently 11,716 years old, or about half a precession cycle, and a few centuries change. Which means there is a range of 12.5% chance we will go longer to 50%.
The questions become:
1) Is fifty-fifty good enough? (In consideration of the Precautionary Principle), or
2) Is there any way to increase our odds, whatever they may be?
That last one is a really difficult question….. What, on earth, could there possibly be that could resist the natural urge (that would be 87.5%, recently, ahem) towards glaciation that we could conceivably employ?
Well, there is the heathen devil gas carbon dioxide. Right???? Why not employ that at almost precisely the half-precession old Holocene interglacial?
Er, ah, that’s what we did…….
Which brings us to the last question: (Or the second way it could be “worse than you thought”)
3) If it was all up to you, what would you do?
There is somewhere between an 87.5% (7 vs 8) to 50% (MIS-19 vs MIS-11) chance we are due for the next glacial inception. So far, only GHGs have been proposed as a possible antidote to the next glacial inception.
Your decision, if you please Mr. President.

So how did you get- are you officially a member of the media?
===========
Nothing about the message ?
Just the access ?
You must not have heard, this is gonna be the most transparent Administration in history.
There is an official memo, claiming such.
It makes the get, easier, in theory.
Even if not “officially a member of the media”.
Something to do with “free speech”, can’t really be bothered with the details right now, there is a whole world that needs saving.

Er, so what? So you have a copy but will not show us its contents until after we can get it anyway Well, booo-eeeey for you!

Piss-ants don’t get copies to hold for release time.
Any part of that, you didn’t understand ?

It means there can be an examination and considered response, posted upon the release.
Roger Harrabin of the BBC says that Obama is going to introduce more regulations to bring down US emissions to the Kyoto target and that he will by-pass Congress by doing so.
Some democracy…..
It’s 5:14 EDT. I’ve been waiting for over an hour.
One positive possibility is that he will encourage the use of vehicles powered by natural gas, and homes heated by it. (That’s what he should have done four years ago, instead of subsidizing electric vehicles.)
He might also approve the Keystone pipeline and generally approve of fracking, if properly regulated. That will make him look reasonable–and give him cover for the anti-coal measures he will impose. He may figure that he needs to toss the greens some bones if he’s going to approve Keystone.
If a “1740 event*” is in the cards starting 12 to 18 months from now, the extreme measures he will take are going to be the “rope enough” that’s going to hang him–and the CACCA Cult. (Especially if the Great Recession kicks into 2nd gear at that point, as I anticipate.) They followed the road of futile feel-goodery that Europe has gone down with open eyes, knowing the science was turning against them and warming had Plateaud—they’ll have no excuse. Politically, this will turn out to be a blunder of the first order–they’ll never live it down.

You are watching the slow death of America. Obama is a fool to think he can affect climate by closing your coal plants. All this will do is drive power costs up despite fracked gas.
It’s 6.10 AM EDT and I still can’t read it :^)
I guess it says: We’ll do what Spain and Britain and Ontario did.
It better contain approval of the Keystone XL pipeline.
No carbon tax only because it’s not politically expedient. He’ll use the continuing hopey/changy methods (via EPA) of closing down coal plants & necessarily skyrocketing.energy costs just like he promised.
Stand and deliver!
Your money or your life!
Anthony, I don’t mean to insult you but are you now considered Main Stream Media (MSM)? 😉
Head lines: “Whitehouse wants WUWT to join the influential media”. They are late to the party! ROFLMAO
