The Statistical Review of World Energy shows that 86.7% of global energy is provided by fossil fuels and that 3.43% is provided by wind and solar generation (this 3.43% having taken 20 years and $TRILLIONS to achieve).

But surely they have enough to determine that, over the last 150 years, there has been no increase in the frequency and intensity of hurricanes droughts and floods; forest acreage lost to wildfires is now less than 25% of what it was 100 years ago; deaths due to extreme weather events are less than 2% of what they were 100 years ago; that since 1960, global wheat yields have doubled and those for maize and rice have tripled . . . etc, etc.
In other words . . . WHAT BLOODY CLIMATE CRISIS?!!!

I was teaching pathology at UCLA health center in the 70’s. The rot had already started to set in with affirmative action in both medicine and dentistry. I read recently that the woman who is chairman of the medical department is very concerned about making sure DEI is implemented in admitting new freshmen to medical school.
Personally I would be very careful when going to a young doc either medical or dental.

Has it occurred to these brilliant medical light bulbs that such a ban might effect agricultural production and the distribution of food? Don’t farmers and truckers use diesel fuel for their equipment and trucks (respectively). Doesn’t fertilizer for crops come from natural gas?
