How a Small Chinese Company Tricked the German State | DW Investigation

DW Planet A

DW uncovered that dozens of Chinese climate projects, certified by the German authorities as carbon credits under the upstream emission reduction scheme, failed to deliver on promises to save millions of tons of carbon emissions. A joint investigation by DW and ZDF reveals how Germany was deceived – and exposes the shadowy company Beijing Karbon behind the alleged fraud.

It really is hilarious – sadly, if that makes any sense – that the German authorities and companies could be so easily scammed.

Are you sure they were scammed?
What are the odds that the German managers were in on the scheme?

Carbon Credits were never anything but an opportunity for every chancer on the planet to scam governments who foolishly embraced the concept. When governments start throwing money around, there are always those who are keen to take advantage – just look at the billions wasted in the UK during the Covid pandemic, spent on useless equipment and schemes; a lot of unsavoury people got rich at our expense!

Carbon Credits do not reduce emissions by any measurable amount.
It is a tax and it allows middle men like Al Gore to make billions at the expense of everyone else.

The Chinese are, or so it would seem, everywhere. They’re certainly causing waves in blighty.

“”Yang Tengbo: Who is alleged Chinese spy linked to Prince Andrew”” – BBC

He gets around having met David Cameron and Theresa May. They ‘don’t recall’ meeting him, funnily enough. But they did. But it isn’t just the Conservatives…

“”Christine Lee, the Chinese solicitor accused of spying on Westminster on behalf of the Chinese Communist Party, has lost her legal challenge against the Security Services at the Investigatory Powers Tribunal. Lee accused MI5 of “attacking” her reputation and trampling on her human rights by saying she engaged in “political interference activities” for a branch of the CCP. Lee was also well plugged into Westminster…

Her son worked as a bag-carrier for Labour’s “Beijing Barry” – Labour MP Barry Gardiner – who trousered a whopping £500,000 from Lee’s “generosity.” Back in 2022, Guido revealed another cosy connection: LibDem leader Sir Ed Davey. According to Ed’s own register of interests, his local party happily scooped up a £5,000 donation from Lee back in November 2013. “”

Labour is sucking up to the Chinese with policies like the Chagos deal. Surely everybody realises that?

Hopefully one day we’ll also find out why James Cleverley, who did most of the donkey work for this deal before the two numpties Starmer & Lammy picked it up, was so keen on it.

(looks at one) (looks at the other) But they are both Red. It’s just that one is moving from it, another into it. I guess the Chinese were more experienced, they knew how to deal with this sort.

Yikes. This is the tip of the iceberg. The underlying fabricated basis for the entire “climate” illusion must be exposed and dismantled, as I see it.

My very low-budget contributions here at WUWT and on X and on Youtube are intended to concisely demonstrate the core error(s) of the claims.

Billions

December 17, 2024 5:23 am

Speaking of scams:

Biden Administration Agrees to Record $15 Billion Loan to PG&EEnergy Department loan would finance California utility’s efforts to upgrade power grid and reduce emissions; future administrations can’t claw back the money
in today’s WSJ

https://www.wsj.com/us-news/climate-environment/biden-pge-record-loan-climate-change-grid-update-55b2fe6e?mod=hp_lead_pos11

Here’s the beginning of it- in case you can’t access the site with that link.

The Biden administration will provide a record $15 billion low-interest loan commitment to California utility company PG&E PCG -0.76%decrease; red down pointing triangle

to support hundreds of projects aimed at fighting the effects of climate change and improving the electrical grid.

The loan by the Energy Department’s Loan Programs Office is slated to fund projects that refurbish PG&E’s hydroelectric infrastructure and upgrade power lines to support renewable energy projects, data centers and electric vehicles.

The loan office had planned to provide a $30 billion loan to PG&E a few weeks ago, according to people familiar with the matter. The amount was cut in half, in part because of PG&E concerns about the hefty upfront payments such a large loan would have required.

The loan commitment, the largest in the loan office’s nearly two-decade history, will provide PG&E cash in installments over several years as it develops projects that will have to be approved by loan-office officials. The second-largest commitment during the Biden administration is a $9.6 billion loan for a Ford Motor battery joint venture, which the office completed Monday. The loan office plans to close the PG&E loan before President-elect Donald Trump assumes office, according to people familiar with the matter.

Can’t claw it back? No problem. Reduce the Energy Department budget by twice as much. Problem solved.

” Here hold our beer while we show you a REAL scam”

i watched the video. very interesting.
the irony is the scam if carbon credits being sold or traded, is being scammed by scammers.

this could be made into an episode of the twilight zone.

We do not have a climate problem, we do not have a science problem, we do not have a CO2 problem, we have a government problem. Dishonest crappy government is not acceptable, get rid of it now, we have been lied to and cheated long enough.
