Carbon Credits were never anything but an opportunity for every chancer on the planet to scam governments who foolishly embraced the concept. When governments start throwing money around, there are always those who are keen to take advantage – just look at the billions wasted in the UK during the Covid pandemic, spent on useless equipment and schemes; a lot of unsavoury people got rich at our expense!
Carbon Credits do not reduce emissions by any measurable amount.
It is a tax and it allows middle men like Al Gore to make billions at the expense of everyone else.
Just so.
Carbon emissions ? I’m sure we mean Carbon Dioxide . Carbon is black Carbon Dioxide is what we exhale.

If ‘fighting climate change’ means reducing atmospheric carbon dioxide (NOT CARBON) then give up. There’s not a chance of stopping the climb in the Keeling curve.
