The Global War on Farming: ‘Net Zero and the American beef industry cannot coexist’

Excerpt: I was fortunate enough to be invited as the keynote speaker to their annual event in Rapid city last month by their CEO Bill Bullard. I had an amazing time meeting so many amazing American ranchers and I wanted to share the speech I gave there with you.

If you want to watch the full speech, here is the video recording. If you’d rather read through the speech, scroll down.

‘‘For those of you who don’t know my home country, The Netherlands is a tiny country in North-West Europe and when I say tiny, I mean tiny.

For reference, the state of South Dakota alone is 5x the size of my entire country.

We might be small in size, but we’re big at one thing. And that’s farming.

Farming is the backbone, not just of our economy, but of our nation’s historyidentity and culture.

The foundations of modern agriculture in the Netherlands were laid in the early 1500 and oftentimes farmers who are alive today come from families whose farming history dates back hundreds of years.

As a result of this, we are now amongst the world’s most lucrative, productive and technologically advanced farmers in the world.

In fact, after you guys here in America, we are the second largest exporter of agricultural products in the entire world and the largest exporter of beef in the European Union.

It’s not an overstatement to say that we together, The United States of America and The Netherlands, feed the world.

For now. Because Unfortunately the most powerful people in the world, want to stop us.

So let me tell you a real life cautionary tale. Let me tell you about what exactly has been going on with the Dutch farmers and what prompted them to go out and protest.

In 2019, a group of environmental activists sued the Dutch government, claiming that Dutch natural reserves were under threat because of a so-called ‘nitrogen crisis’  and that the Dutch government violated Dutch law and European regulations by failing to sufficiently protect nature.

The Dutch court agreed with the environmental activists and so it began: The Netherlands officially entered the so-called ‘’nitrogen crisis’.

Not big corporations, not the airline industries…

No. Both the EU and the Dutch government agree that cow burps are deemed the biggest driver of climate change.

And after the 2019 ruling, things escalated quickly.

Last year, the Dutch government decided that 30% of all livestock needs to be cut by 2030 in order to meet the climate goals.

And then the government decided that would mean at least 3000 farms needed to be shut down in the next few years.

If farmers refuse to sell their land to the state ‘’voluntarily’’ to the state now, they run the risk of being expropriated later.

Yes, you heard that right. Expropriated. Your property rights will simply be taken away from you.

What I really want to get across here ladies and gentlemen, is that I of course could get into all the nitty gritty details of what the nitrogen crisis exactly entails according to the government, but that would be a mistake.

Our government doesn’t give a rat’s ass – excuse my French –  about ‘’Dutch nature’’.

There is no nitrogen crisis.

It is all one big lie. It’s a pretext

And debating them within the parameters that they’ve set out for us, is not a winning strategy.

We are not dealing with people who are acting in good faith.

Nobody who’s acting in good faith would come after one of the most hard working, respectable and lucrative sectors of our society.

Especially not when that sector puts food on our plates. Especially not in a time when we’re already dealing with food shortages all over the world.

So the question remains, why are they doing this?

The answer is: the attack on farming is part of a bigger agenda of total control and we in The Netherlands are simply the pilot country. We are the tester case.

The reality of the matter is that the Dutch state is committing a land grab. And the climate/netzero is being used as a pretext.

It’s the typical globalist strategy: under the guise of morally just sounding sentences like “we have to save the climate”, a hidden totalitarian agenda is being rolled out.

So what’s behind all of this?

First, in the Dutch case, actual state documents have shown that the Dutch government needs the land to build new houses for migrants.

Like I said, we are a tiny country, but we are bursting at the seams in terms of population density.

Due to mass migration from Africa and the Middle East, we are now nearing 18 million inhabitants this year.

But since half of all the land in The Netherlands is owned by farmers and the state simply doesn’t have space to build new houses for all of the migrants that they’re importing, they need a solution.

And the solution they have come up with is: stealing other people’s land.

Let me get to the 2nd and most important reason why a war is being waged against our farmers?

Remember how I said the government wants to cut down livestock by 30% before 2030?

The specific mention of 2030 is not a coincidence. It’s because that is the deadline that the global elites have given them to implement a new agenda.

And that agenda is called the 2030 Agenda.

So what is it exactly?

UN Sustainable Development Goals
UN Sustainable Development Goals

The 2030 Agenda consists of 17 sustainable development goals, laid out by the United Nations. When we take a superficial look at these goals, they all seem very noble.

I mean… “no poverty” and “no hunger”, who could be against that?

However, if we take a closer look at these goals you’ll realise that they can never do this without forceful ‘’redistribution of goods, food and rights’’ aka: the obliteration of basic civil liberties and property rights.

And of course, they always try selling it to us under the guise of equality. It’s only fair if everybody has equal resources, they argue. Yet, nobody ever voted for any of this.

Reeks like communism doesn’t it?

Well, you’d be right to say that, because that’s exactly what it is.

It will simply mean that a very small group of  super rich elites gets richer and everyone else becomes equally poor and miserable.

And these goals are not restricted to the Netherlands – they’re goals for the world as a whole.

And once again, we see the true motive here: establishing a world government.

A new world order.

In which our global elites decide what we eat, when we eat, where we are allowed to travel, how we are allowed to travel, what we are allowed to own and who we are allowed to meet.

I’m sure you’ve heard of Klaus Schwab’s plans for the great reset and his statement that. “You’ll own nothing and you’ll be happy”. Well this is it. This is that agenda.

It is just absolutely crucial to know, that the first part of that sentence is the truth and the second part of that sentence is a lie.

The globalists are specifically targeting farmers, because they want our way of living and eating to change radically and they understand that they can’t do that without getting rid of you guys.

You are some of the most independenthard working and most importantly God fearing people on the planet. And those people are not easy to control.

On top of that, you produce foods that they don’t want us to eat. Animal fats and proteins from meat, eggs and milk, make us strong.

Instead, they want us to eat synthetic meats created by Bill Gates, they want us to eat bugs and drink soy milk that will make us weak and obedient, so we do what they say and buy what they offer.

And that brings me to the title of this presentation: those who control the food, control the people.

The communists knew this better than anyone. The first thing Stalin did was come after the farmers.

And the globalists of today are just copy pasting that strategy, but this time around they use pretty/virtuous words to hide their true intentions.

And you might be thinking, well that  may be true for The Netherlands, but here it won’t get that far.

Well ladies and gentlemen, that depends on whether people like you hold the line.

Because the agenda is global and it’s a matter of time before it arrives in the US too.

The globalists have money, time and power.

If there is one thing you American farmers should know from our experience in the Netherlands, it is that the globalists are waging a war of attrition.

They start with hitting you with new rules and regulations forcing you to adapt your business.

Then they hit you with expensive legal procedures. In the meantime, they mobilize the media to vilify you as one of the main drivers of climate change, by using “science” and bribing ‘’experts who will point the finger at you.

And I know that this is already happening here in the US too. I know Bill Gates is trying to buy up Farmland, I know here in South Dakota obscure foreign funded companies like ‘’Summit Carbon Solutions’’ are trying to crack down on your property rights, I know John Kerry has launched a government attack on the agricultural sector.

Let’s hear it from the horse’s mouth:

1.00

‘’Agriculture contributes to 30% of Carbon Dioxide and without the agricultural sector we can’t get to netzero’’

It’s simple math.

“Net zero” and the American beef industry cannot coexist. It’s one or the other.

Learn from the mistakes the Dutch farmers have made. Stay united, don’t let the media divide you. Fight.

Or you’ll end up in this man’s shoes:

1.00

The question farmers all around the world have to ask themselves is whether or not they will hold the line, or if they’ll sell out and damn their descendants for eating bugs.

And let me tell you, I have more hope for you American farmers than for any other group of farmers.

A deep love for liberty, God and your country runs through your veins.

And your Founding Fathers gave you the means to protect it.

In The Netherlands, we don’t have a second amendment. And even though the Dutch farmers have put up and continue to put up a brave fight, they’ve gone along with the government’s lies for way too long, they’ve allowed themselves to become divided and they have been forced to face the reality that we stand pretty defenseless in the face of a tyrannical the moment they point a gun at you.

Because that has been our reality. The police have pointed guns at our farmers and have shot and nearly killed a 16 y/o farmer’s boy.

So let me end this speech with a message from the dutch farmers, one that I think you all should emulate.

1.00

I am not a farmer, but I sure as hell am proud of you.

God bless you all!”

There it is – that was my speech at the R-CALF convention. I hope it resonated with you all. Here are some photos taken at the convention! Please let me know your thoughts, is there anything you’d personally pass along to the farmers? If so, let me know in the comments below.

No one seems to notice that the beef industry, for meat, goes hand-in-hand with the dairy industry. So much so that to redude either one will deeply affect the other. Dairy is responsible for a substantial amount of food protein, and may be the single most important source material in infant and child nutrition, world wide.

Have you ever heard of breast feeding? Far better for infants than cow’s milk. Not to mention the billions of people who are lactose intolerant. Personally I love cheese and there is no way I intend to stop eating it but that doesn’t mean that it is a necessity. There are plenty of other cheap and more sustainable ways of getting protein.

Of course they count. But the numbers are too small to justify the claim that Dairy is the “single most import source material” world wide. Worldwide 44% of child are exclusively breastfed for the first 6 months. While over 60% of people worldwide are lactose intolerant. So the idea that dairy is the most important source material for protein is not justified by the data.

I think he is justified (great series by the way). Goats, camels, reindeer etc are all used milk products. The Masai in Africa mix milk with blood for a health drink.

please provide a ref for your 60% lactose intolerant.

Yes there are other sources. But they all take a lot of land, which Holland, the UK etc don’t have. Strangely livestock are quite efficient in turning grass into protein, and grass grows all year, not just one crop per year. You would get much less by growing peas (legumes) so more land. Poor Izaac, he has no idea of the food cycle, soil management, or anything at all really.

…and malnutrition, most importantly in context. Those quite real conditions you refer to are first-world problems, and mostly not encountered in those areas and among those people that the climate genocidistas have already written off.

But we can add neonatal orphans to those Itzak would condemn, as they are all too common, everywhere. Perhaps as one of his “cheaper” sources of protein.

I am not condemning anyone. My only contention is that dk_’s claim that Dairy is “single most important source material in infant and child nutrition, world wide.” is not justified and is unlikely to be true given that over 44% of infants worldwide are exclusively breastfeed. Dairy forms a significant part of the diet of many people but that doesn’t make it the most important source material nor does it mean that it is the cheapest form of protein.

Absolute crap Walton ,
You aint got a clue .100 years ago babies might have been breast fed untill they reached four or five years of age and the infant mortality was shocking .
Milk from cows sheep or goats now grows children and very few perish as they did in the 1800s and early 1900s back in time .
What is wrong with all you like minded people like Walton who want to vilify farming that feeds the world.
Come back and tell us how the 8 billion people on this planet could be fed without farming .
As I have written here many times methane from farmed animals is not a problem and never will be a problem because all fodder consumed by cattle ,sheep, goats and deer has absorbed CO2 from the atmosphere to grow and the tiny amount of methane released during digestion is broken down in 10 years in the upper atmosphere into CO2 and water vapour .
Not one additional atom of carbon is added to the atmosphere over any 10 year period.
Methane from farmed animals is one of the biggest scams thought up and enacted by dishonest scientists and many other scientists who have accepted without question that enteric methane is going to heat the world when it can never be a problem .
I am a proud New Zealand farmer supplying Fonterra exporting high quality dairy produce to the world .

I’m curious as to to whether that idiot woman you had for Prime Minister, who was trying to destroy New Zealand’s agriculture, ever figured it out and that’s why she escaped.

I’ve even pointed out that, in fact, some of the minuscule amounts of synthetic vitamins may have some fossil carbon in them – but, as you say, essentially zero atoms.

To date, I’ve never seen a response to that. Just blowhards like Izaak running away from it, or nothing. Usually the climate crooks can come up with something to feed their useful idiots as in “fact checks” or “what you need to know today about (cows) …. blah, blah, blah ….”

Unadulterated rubbish; breast feeding is essential for the transfer of innate immune properties from mother to child. Your quote of “44%” is the next off the taxi rank of blx after “97%of scientists”. FFHS how long do you expect breast feeding to go on – until puberty??? Please explain when Lactose intolerance became an “issue” – could that have possibly been an outcome of mass infant vaccination post WWII or have you not yet discovered the tsunami of immune system dysfunction since then??

Well, to the latter point, I should have said food protein. Certainly insects are cheaper, and almost ubiquitous.
But your assertion that cheese is the only milk product is ridiculous. Dried milk, not only protein but fat and carbohydrate, is used in most formula. Whey is one of the most important ingredients in dried food and supplements shipped in as relief supplies to areas where malnutrition and starvation are rampant, and intended for adults as well.
Cows milk is cheapest because where there is an over-producint meat and dairy industry also happens to be where there is an industrial base that can prepare all those foods for shipment elsewhere. And cows’ milk is produced in immensely greater quantities, more easily and cheaply, than from any other source.
So, skeptically using your figures, 56% of the world’s infants and children, including the most vulnerable, are dependent on a healty, mostly Western dairy and meat industry, operating in such a manner as to periodically produce a surplus.
I withdraw the statement about your condemnation of those who are dependent on Western aid and charity. Yours was merely a casual and ignorant disregard. For the genocide-advocating fools who would deprive the world of surplus food, it is intentional and blatent. You just happen to foolishly coincide.

The ability to digest milk and milk products in certain people is an adaptive trait that developed thousands of years ago when certain populations began keeping livestock. Being able to derive nutrients from animals without killing those animals (you can kill and eat a cow, but once the meat is gone, that’s it – but you can get milk for a much longer period of time) bridged gaps in peoples’ diets during lean times.
Babies, yes, most can drink their mother’s milk (or that of a wet nurse), but in lean times adults have also benefited from being able to exploit additional and unconventional food sources.
Looking at the history of the evolution of life, organisms which are able to best make use of whatever available resources tend to survive the longest. While those that cannot, are much more vulnerable to extinction.
Being that many humans have this genetic trait, there is no reason not to make use of it.

The nations CO2 output is so small that shutting down their country agriculture isn’t going to matter at all, that is how stupid these people are when they got infected by the Climate Crisis insanity virus where insanity is a visible symptom of the climate cult and the cure is starvation.

This echoes Zimbabwe where they went from being an exporter of agriculture (breadbasket of Africa) into starving impoverished people because meathead Robert Mughabe declared that all farmlands owned by whites had to be given up, which then cause some of the farmers be murdered which then speedily collapsed the agriculture that ushered in starvation and hunger for decades afterwards.

Insanity is doing the same failure over and over……

Recent Dutch politics has been marked by the emergence of new party alliances – the merger of Labour (PvdA) and the Green Left (GroenLinks), and the new Omtzigt party that now heads the polls. Rutte’s VVD is not dead yet either.

Jack Spratt would eat no fat,
His wife would eat no lean.
And so it was between them,
They licked the platter clean.

It’s not easy to get search engines to give any sort of sensible answer – they all seem to confuse animal numbers with = Meat – or meat production and especially when it comes to cattle and beef.

Three seemingly disconnected points:
Point One: Yes Holland has a lot of cows BUT – they are Dairy Cows.
They are animals that have been developed to produce Fat. Saturated Fat
i.e. The very substance us humans evolved eating and to eat

The Dairy Cow is the most efficient converter of sugar into fat that there is. Yes, other mammals may eat sugar and make fat – BUT – they are/were not evolved to do so and it kills them. Always.
Notably: Humankind and especially, Human females

Sugar is toxic to most critters except herbivores.
Humans are NOT = Herbivores.

Point Two: Enter Eva in her little intro video and what was she doing: Petting baby dairy cows.
Also note va herself = Tall and slim. Also that she is self confident & assured, intelligent and able to string sentences together without fluffing, bumbling, errrrring, ahhhhing, hesitating and repeating herself

Point Three: The attached image.screenshot

Those three points are all very much linked = the one and the same.
Holland is NOT a meat producing country, Holland produces fat from its herd of cows and also from immense flock of pigs.
And The people eat the food that they themselves produce – hence the likes of Eva and what the search produces.

But they are on a very slippery slope – Eva confuses cow-burps with Nitrogen

Venture back into US history to find that Abe Lincoln was 6′ 4″ tall and was NOT a tall man amongst his peers.
The average US male is now 5′ 9″ tall – the womenfolk average 5′ 3″ tall

Why.
The US is not eating the amount of Fat that it used to and the people are shrinking as a consequence.
Not just physically. mentally also.

Eating Fat creates people like Eva and Abe Lincoln – eating sugar produces people like Brandon, Bojo and Lizzo.
Short. Obese. Thick. Uneducable. Stupid, lazy, buck-passing and belligerent.
IOW: Socialists

Without realising, I actually ran the experiment with my twin daughters.
It is that with young girls, you program their genes and entire adult future by what you feed them between the time of weaning and their 13th birthday.

If during that time you feed them a predominantly carbohydrate diet, they will grow to be short and obese. They will have short legs, fat thighs and especially: huuuuge backsides.
That is fatal for them – it renders them unable to (naturally) deliver babies, especially their first.
They will spent ‘most every waking minute being argumentative and with faces like they’re always chewing a wasp.
They will also be constantly depressed and constantly eating: Comfort food.
ad a result will be on a constant string of diets for their lives up to when they have menopause.
Then the fat will really pile on and their skeletons will collapse.
Brains also into dementia.

In contrast, girls who were brought up eating a diet high in saturated fat will be like Eva – they will NEVER need to go on any diet and will live to a ripe old age without their hips collapsing, bones randomly breaking nor getting, especially, arthritis or becoming demented.

Everybody knows what girls should be like,
Everybody sees what contemporary girls are like.
…..hence why the hapless cows are relentlessly shoe-horned into high-heeled shoes – to make them appear as Nature/God intended.

everything you thought you knew, everything you learned in kindergarten, everything is wrong.

Dr. Steve Gundry points out that most dairy cows milk contains a protein that most humans do not respond well to ….there sre some cow breeds that don’t have the protein but most dairy cows do….but humans require a blood test to find out their status…he just eats sheep or goat cheese or yogurt which is more expensive but not readily available…food and diet are hard?….

Isn’t it interesting that invisible gases that make up a scintilla of the earth’s atmosphere, CO2, methane are destroying the planet? That the burping of cattle and their farts are causing the seas to rise and the glaciers to melt. Like there never have been immense herds of ruminants on earth in the past. We might need Nayib Bukele to straighten this mess out.

Can you imagine the burp from a megasauraus? 100 times the weight of a cow. I wonder why the Earth didn’t melt then?

Regenerative ag is carbon positive. It requires animals like cattle to fertilize and eat down plants which drop their roots and sequester carbon. Herbivores eat grass which is a perennial plant, thus more durable and requires less inputs. These “experts” have everything backwards and will cause the crisis they are trying to prevent.

grass which is a perennial plant,

That depends on the grass.

Most grain crops are annual grasses, ie rice, corn, wheat, barley, rye, oats, millet, sorghum, etc.

True enough, but annual grasses are not generally grown for fodder in Europe, perhaps some maize. It is a bit different in the US, but that is because they have lots of land!

Another fact that should be considered in debating this topic is that today’s cattle simply replaced the 30M or so bison that used to populate North America. So all in all the industry is really pretty much Net Zero compared to pre-industrial times.

A coupla points:

It’s all about control– Oliver Twist- “I want more,Sir.” The orphans were kept starving for a reason.

Cow farts– It’s a Cycle. Unless they’re eating limestone and drinking oil, no net change in GHG levels or “strength.”….OTOH- raisng the corn & beans to be fed to the cattle is petroleum intensive, BUT- if we don’t eat meat, we’ll need to eat and raise even more crops which wil be even more petroleum intensive and then even more natural habitat into monoculture cropland. Cattle are much more efficent than humans in turning vegetable matter into nutrition for humans.
.
Julius Caesar had to give a Knute Rockne-esque pep talk to his 5’4” legionaires because they were scared stiff of the 6 ft tall Germans, who, according to Caesar, ate nothing but meat and cheese. Meat is nutrient dense. Veggies are not. The protein: calorie ratio of meat is more efficient for human consumption than is that of veggies.

In response to Peta of Newark and GuidoLaMoto, I can add my personal experience about the benefits of a high-fat high-protein low-carbs diet. About 3 years ago, I was told I had high blood pressure, with a high risk of stroke. I had exercised a lot when I was younger, but had gotten up to 6’1″ and 220 pounds, despite eating “low-fat” processed foods.

I then stumbled across an article on the Internet which recommended a high-fat, high-protein, low carb diet for reducing blood pressure. Although it seemed counter-intuitive at the time, I tried it, and lost about 35 pounds in four months, and my weight stabilized at about 185 pounds ever since, and my blood pressure is down about 20 points. I would definitely recommend this diet (sometimes called the keto diet) to anyone overweight and/or having high blood pressure.

Those alarmists talking about a “nitrogen crisis” don’t really understand the chemistry of nitrogen. The atmosphere contains about 78% diatomic nitrogen, which is inert when breathed in and out by animals and humans, but can be processed into nutrients by “nitrogen-fixing bacteria” in the soil.

Nitrogen oxides (oxidized nitrogen) in the atmosphere can be harmful, because they can react with ozone in the stratosphere, which allows greater penetration of ultraviolet light normally screened out by the ozone. Nitrogen oxides can be produced by poorly regulated combustion processes (reaction of nitrogen and oxygen from the atmosphere at high temperatures), but very little are produced from agriculture.

Most fertilizers used in agriculture contain ammonium compounds, or reduced nitrogen, combined with hydrogen atoms. Reduced nitrogen is essential for all life, since all 21 amino acids needed to make proteins contain reduced nitrogen (the “amino” part of the amino acids). Ammonium-rich fertilizers are essentially feeding the nitrogen-fixing bacteria in the soil, making them more productive.

The alarmists that are using a “nitrogen crisis” to attack agriculture are shooting at the wrong target, trying to cut back reduced nitrogen (combined with hydrogen) essential for life instead of oxidized nitrogen, which can be harmful in the atmosphere.

In reality, reduced nitrogen is frequently used to combat emissions of nitrogen oxides. In large combustion operations (particularly in electric power plants), operators deliberately inject small streams of ammonia or urea into flue gas, which reacts with nitrogen oxides in a catalytic reactor to produce harmless diatomic nitrogen gas (normally abundant in the atmosphere) and water vapor. This process, called Selective Catalytic Reduction, has been recognized by the EPA for over 30 years as an effective mitigation method for nitrogen oxide emissions.

What a great straight talker she is. The world needs to have more Eva Vlaardingerbroeks and less Naomi Oreskes influencing discussion.
We should also question when the UN declared itself the go to guru of what we should eat, do or think. The UN is the problem.
The organisation has been given a world status that is now falsely presented as the sole venue for supra national concepts to be advanced and or championed.
Its actual function is to provide a calming debating chamber when conflicts risk becoming wars. That is its role.
It was not set up to be the moralising virtue signalling stage. Sadly that is what it has morphed into post the cold war that ended in 1989.
Eva’s comparison of the anti farmer attitude being promoted by the globalists and advanced by media, with Stalin’s policies of controlling everything by removing those who opposed his policy is valid.
Farmers have evolved into some of the most independent minded people on the planet. Their fundamental knowledge of land management has served them and humanity well. They are a collective voice that has power within which must be controlled according to the WEF and agenda 2030 policies.
“You will own nothing etc.” is not a casual concept. It is communism aka Marxism’s core foundation.
Traditionally those who own things have intrinsic rights, rights defended by democratic principles and laws evolved by society to protect society.
Unfortunately, that freedom to own ‘stuff’ is anathema to the global elites, well outside their own small band who possess absolute ownership rights, apparently. It used to be called slavery, i.e. the many owned/controlled by the few. The new name is ‘modern’ slavery, i.e. the many controlled by the few. Try to spot the difference. The modern integrated electronic systems effectively deals with the physical ownership previously necessary for the slavers to operate.
People in the Western World are finally waking up to what is being done to them. I just hope it is not too late to stop the madness being advanced by the institutions now operating fully under the Gramsci project.

By the latter decades of the 20th century and after the fall of Soviet communism, unrestricted markets did more to reduce global poverty than the trillions of dollars spent by the supposedly smart people. The invention of artifical problems like “the climate crisis” is both intended to distract people from this fact and to provide justification for even more bad Progressive policy. If people let them.

Notice something very fishy about this video on Youtube:
In the five weeks since it was posted, it has received 1400 viewings and 8 comments.
They evidently do not want people to encouraged to watch because of the high number of viewers. They also do not want people discussing the content in the comments.

As an aside on the 17 UN development goals, notice that war and civil conflicts are not even addressed in their 16th goal: Peace, justice and strong institutions.

The 1945 UN charter:
“to save succeeding generations from the scourge of war”

The UN has since 1945 been a dismal failure in this regard. How will they now achieve even one of these 17 fantasy goals? They are a mostrous leech and nothing more.

Bloomberg’s green-energy research team estimated it would cost $US 200 Trillion(with a T) to stop Global Warming by 2050.

There are about 2 billion households in the world, that is $US 100,000 per household.

Ninety percent of the world’s households can’t afford anything additional. That means about $US 1 million per household in developed countries or about $US 33,000 per year for 30 years. The working people can’t afford anything near that.

The millionaires and billionaires have about $US 208 billion. That would cover it. Let the people of the world vote on this madness.

What an impressive young woman, and what a powerful speaker! My wife and I bought a retirement farm last year, and in addition to the crops we now grow, are going to start a beef cattle herd this fall. The issues she deals with are of great importance to us.

P.S. I was going to make some juvenile joke about having to engage Eva as a consultant – perhaps frequently – but I won’t, mainly because I just did.
