Yes, it is amazing how the professional societies have been corrupted over the human-caused climate change meme. You can’t believe a word they say anymore. They are not free thinkers, they have a bias, which is the last thing a real scientist should have.
Here is some spectacular footage taken from a satellite. It shows liquefaction of near-surface soils in Indonesia following an earthquake.
Such incidents are frequentbut hard to see in places like major river delta sediments. There are old stories of submarine landslides breaking several internation communications cables on the seafloor.
My late boss John Elliston AO studied these processes in a life-long interest. He formulated a different approach to how rocks and ore deposits can form part of it involving colloid chemistry, even wrote a long book..
The liquefaction process can be triggered by earthquake shock, or by a gradual release of water as from a broken water pipe. We even had a real time event on a seminar, when our bus hit a pothole in a dirt road that liquefied the surrounding soil and damaged the bus suspension.
There is no known prediction method.

I’m watching a show on Coral Reef Bleaching. Ironically they are touting how they have replanted Coral to revive a bleached coral. The problems here should be obvious:
1) If it was climate change and pollution that killed the reef, why would the new coral fair any better? Neither the climate nor pollution has changed, but the new coral is doing just fine. If someone salts a field, it will kill all current and future plants.
2) They accidentally discovered what was causing the bleaching and warming of the oceans and it isn’t CO2. They literally state that too much incoming sunlight bleaches the coral. That should be all the evidence one needs that there has been a change of incoming radiation reaching the oceans causing them to warm and bleach the coral. It has nothing to do with CO2.
The answer is right in front of their eyes and they don’t see it. Evidence of fewer clouds over the oceans is abundant and increased coral bleaching is evidence of that.
A quick look at the impact of nuclear closure and the coming of spring on the pattern of German interconnector trade. German electricity exports are the main casualty.

The UN’s Gutierrez says, “Around 90% of the energy trapped in the climate system by greenhouse gases goes into the ocean, posing risks to marine ecosystems.” How does the atmosphere warm the oceans? I’d appreciate a recommendation for a source of the basic science on how warm air warms the ocean if anyone is so inclined, thanks.
