Who To Believe? The BBC Or Your Lyin’ Eyes?

From NOT A LOT OF PEOPLE KNOW THAT

By Paul Homewood

Gaslighting is defined as manipulating someone so as to make them question their own reality:

German police have denied being “extras for Greta Thunberg” after false claims that her detainment at a protest in western Germany was staged.

A viral post falsely claimed the climate activist being held by police was “all set up for the cameras”.

Ms Thunberg and other activists were seeking to stop the abandoned village of Lützerath from being demolished for the expansion of a coal mine.

The video of her being removed by police has gained millions of views.

“We would never give ourselves to make such recordings,” a spokesperson for local police told the BBC, denying allegations that Ms Thunberg’s detainment was fake.

But it is important that the police enable reporting and guarantee the protection of media workers, they added.

The viral video shows the climate campaigner flanked by police officers on either side.

Meanwhile a few photographers can be seen snapping photos and moving around her, as Ms Thunberg smiles.

Several other police officers who were also standing nearby appear to be waiting with her before walking her away from the scene.

Some online have jumped onto these moments of officers and Ms Thunberg waiting around, to falsely claim that it is part of a staged photo opportunity.

However the interior ministry of the western state of North Rhine-Westphalia told the BBC that the police officers and Ms Thunberg were waiting for logistical reasons.

Who do you believe? The BBC or your own lying eyes?

This is the video the BBC actually showed in their original story the day before:

For some reason they left out all of the bits that they did not want you to see:

Instead of gaslighting, why does not the BBC actually publish the full video, and let people decide for themselves?

Never underestimate the BBCs ability to make a contrived presentation. We might be a little surprised their prize winning voice over expert David tumbling walrus Attenborough, was not on scene to talk in hushed tones, as Greta gets carried away to some far away limousine parked out of sight.

The BBC report is by their Climate disinformation reporter. So it must be false.

Anyone who believes, watches or listens to the BBC are fools. The Beeb is no longer there to impartially inform, educate and entertain, but to pander to the lefties and wokeristas. Stop paying the TV tax, at least then you are not supporting their nonsense.

Rhetorical?

George Santayana wrote that if you forget how badly you screwed it up last time, you will screw it up worse next time. Or something like that.

The last time people believed a “Greta”, it didn’t end well.

For someone with congenital issues, especially issues where unplanned distasteful actions would normally seriously unhinge those affected.

Greta is smiling, laughing, apparently wearing some makeup, looking like the proverbial Cheshire cat.

Then there is the police action itself.
Either atrociously planned and atrociously executed or this was the plan.To only remove one person. To not have immediate police vehicles to transport prisoners. Especially when transporting one prisoner is normally a ride in the back of a regular police car.For police to isolate/insulate suspects awaiting official interviews or contain/restrain multiple suspects for transport to await court hearings.
Greta isn’t showing any fear, or even concern. Greta knew her arrest agents, handling wardens, photographers and possibly practiced the entire soap opera..

No follow-up pictures where Greta and her promising greater levels of violence friends are jailed, arraigned, bailed out.

A staged scene with her family, friends and as someone else suggests, “paid actors” comes to mind.

Maybe we could just call it “semi-staged”. I mean, the police were probably thinking, “if only all arrests could go this calmly and smoothly”. So, they were probably fine with a bit of stagery. Good optics all around.

Definitely. The police would have been between a rock and a hard place. Detain her and provide publicity, or ignore her and be accused of lack of impartiality.

Apologies for OT and if posted before.
BBC reporting a gritting lorry in Scotland called “Gritter Thunberg”.
I wonder if they got the irony?

In other BBC news, seals are throwing themselves off cliffs in protest of Greta’s arrest.

How is it that an autistic teenager is now at the helm of the climate crusade? is she a modern day Joan of Arc, or Dark Angel sent by Gia to prepare us for the worst? Perhaps, the empty suits previously referred to as algore and johnkerry were simply replaced behind closed doors in DAVOS by a wild eyed little girl who has at least put bit of commitment behind all the chicken little rhetoric?

What I am waiting for now is the little prince to run out in the street and point out that the “Emperor” has no clothes. The cycle will be complete and we can expect the only possible conclusion begins to play out as anarchy takes hold. It is the only possible outcome, if these idiots actually get their way.
