Celebrating War as Climate Win Makes Red True Color of “Greens”

From the CO2 Coalition

By Vijay Jayaraj

There is widespread concern about the human tragedy in Ukraine. How could there not be? Yet, among us are people who are sufficiently heartless and opportunistic to celebrate the bloodshed as a victory for the “green” movement.

A cabal of political leaders and media houses are now dancing on the graves of innocent civilians as the Ukraine conflict disrupts Europe’s gas supplies and supposedly helps end the West’s “addiction” to fossil fuels.

There is much with which to take issue. In the first place, the war has accelerated a move back to fossil fuels – especially to coal – that was initiated by ill-advised climate polices that forced the adoption of unreliable wind and solar technologies and led to energy shortages. So the trend is toward an increased reliance on fossil fuels, not an abandonment of these energy sources.

However, our main complaint here is the disturbingly callous attitude among prominent people with the UN’s World Meteorological Organization (WMO) and major news outlets like Politico.

“From climate perspective, the war in Ukraine may be seen as a blessing,” said Petteri Taalas, WMO Secretary General, who believes that the war “is speeding up this green transition.” Do not such thoughts betray a cult-like obsession with climate hysteria?

At the heart of the green movement, is a fundamental disregard for human life. It is an irony that a movement that claims to save the planet for future generations is celebrating deaths of the present generation. This is not a one-time gaffe, but rather a systemic characteristic of the green movement.

Echoing the secretary general, some popular media credited the war with advancing the green agenda. Going even further, Politico declared Russian President Vladimir Putin a green champion for his unintentional efforts to end natural gas addiction in Europe.

“It took a war criminal to speed up Europe’s green revolution,” wrote Politico Europe in its twitter feed. “Vladimir Putin’s brutal invasion of Ukraine has forced Europe to finally break its fossil fuel addiction. For this reason, he has topped our inaugural #POLITICOGreen28 list.”

Though these statements of opportunism are shocking, they are not new.

Consider the green movement’s tolerance for the environmental impact of wind energy. The mainstream media has long defended the wind turbines against complaints about bird deaths. But as a conservationist who has worked on bird species of critical importance, I can assure you that no avian enthusiast is happy with ignoring the carcasses beneath turbine blades.

Not only do wind turbines directly kill birds, they alter ecosystems and destroy bird habitat. Be it the U.S. or Europe or Asia, bird mortality in hundreds of thousands is a scientifically established fact. Bald eagles, a highly protected species in the U.S., are allowed by regulation to be slaughtered by turbines — as are other raptors and migratory species.

The most absurd argument in defense of wind turbines is that these deaths are no different than that of bird deaths from cats and tall buildings. But when did you last see a house cat kill a bald eagle or falcon or hawk? Or when did you see a tall building chop off a bird’s wings?

Also overlooked by the greens is the ecological and human damage done by the industrial process of obtaining rare earth minerals for manufacturing wind and solar machines. Entire lakes and villages have been made toxic in the mad rush for so-called renewable technology.

Regardless of our opinion on climate issues, there is a dangerous pattern that should concern all — a willingness to sacrifice lives to reduce the emission of the harmless gas CO2.

The hostility toward fossil fuels alone costs lives as energy is made too expensive or simply unavailable for poor people who are doomed to poverty, disease and early death.

The cult cares not whether you can afford your energy bills or whether you have a robust economy that offers personal and generational growth and well-being. Neither does it care about the birds in the sky or the whales in the ocean. It is certainly unconcerned about markets running out of food because of a war on nitrogen emissions in agricultural fields. In short, the climate cult is willing – perhaps duty bound – to sacrifice people and the beautiful creatures on this earth for its absurd religion.

Eight years in progress since the fateful Slavic Spring where democracy dies, and demos-racy is aborted, in darkness, with “benefits”.

That said, go green, then Green, then green, then Blue, then blue in the circle of redistributive change.

The WMO is right up there with that bastard Putin. A pack of bastards .
The WMO have lost all credibility when they come out celebrating war .
They would be well aware that all those buildings and other infrastructure will have to be rebuilt .
Just think of all that cement that will be used and all the other energy required .
Then there is all the war machines destroyed and missiles that have destroyed the Ukraine
They just don’t care about human suffering and deaths .
Don’t these bastard clowns live in the real world?
The WMO has been taken over by extremists and the sooner they are obliterated the better off the world will be .

Thank you, Vijay!
There can no longer be any doubt that Climastrology is a fanatical religious sect that promotes human torture and sacrifice as part of their catechism! What is truly astonishing is that anyone still thinks of them as ecology-minded when you take into account the detrimental effects of their policies on wildlife and habitats! They happily sacrifice children, birds and forests in their attempts to placate the bloodthirsty, vengeful gods of their Holy Computer Models!

This attitude will surely work against them as people die and the quality of life deteriorates.

Not only do wind turbines kill birds directly and alter their habitat, they deprive them of food too:

Tune in to any news program on any day, and sooner or later the topic will turn to the energy crisis and you will be lectured to by an “energy expert” that will demand that we need to build more of these ecological disasters. The ignorance and stupidity beggars belief.

Methinks the admiration goes more directly and deeply to the heart of the much worse Green monsters! Putin is at least more honest than they are. Their target target is billions of humankind. Your PDS is astonishing for such a logical man.

Eight years of eastern Ukrainian Russians attacked by their own leader, and 14,000 dead before Russia intervened legally.

This conflict could have been stopped a month after it began but the west’s belligerence believed the sacrifice of innumerable lives justified it refusing peace negotiations.

That, when it had nothing to do with the west. We had no dog in this fight, until we introduced a rabid beast of our own.

Remember that. The west persuaded Zelinsky to sacrifice men and materials to a conflict he and his predecessors began, that he could have stopped.

It’s now being revealed that financial corruption may have induced the entire Democrat party to wage a war of personal profit.

The Biden crime family may well be directly implicated in this war which might have been a cover for their financial impropriety. We might also find they used NATO to cover for their personal financial misdeeds.

But Putin is the problem?

There is a new world order in the offing, just not the one Klaus Schwab wanted. BRICS nations have been compelled to close ranks to resist the acknowledged historic hegemony of the USA and its allies.

Ukraine was the tinder box.

I take no sides, I see only what I see. a financial moribund west facing a stand off with the poor world it sought to subvert.

Finally, the uprising against western political and financial corruption we rather hoped might have evolved from within, but the torches and pitchforks are not our own.

Someone is having to clear out our Augean Stables.

The rotting stench of our leaders has long been recognised. But we refused to do anything about it.

The alternative may be worse than we had, but thats our fault for not cleaning up our own mess.

Your conspiracy theories regarding an evil US secretly manipulating the entire world is fascinating, even if completely self refuting.

Putin alone is the evil mastermind with FSB / ex-KGB ppl. As a Finn we possible see this more Black & White, b/c thru 1000y history 99,99% enemy has come from the East, namely Russia.
The independent (since 1917) Finland has 830 miles (1340km) hard (land) border w/Russia, 457 miles (736km) w/ NATO country Norway.

Finland applied this year to be a member of the NATO. Two members of NATO, namely Turkey (sic) and Hungary have not approved yet Finland. All others has.

Finland was Eastern part of Sweden 600 years till 1809, when Sweden lost War to Russia and Finland became a Country which had Russian Tsars as rulers, and the 1809 Swedish Law; it was called Grand Dutchy of Finland.

Sorry long post, but the Sweden (icl East Sweden called Finland) and Russia signed Peace Treaties to agree borders, but since 1809 till 1864 Russia just changed borders.

Change of border b/w Finland and Russia
Year Resson and How long it lasted
1323 Peace Treaty (PT) lasted 272 years
1595 PT lasted 22 years
1617 PT lasted 104 years
1721 PT lasted 22 years
1743 PT lasted 66 years
1809 PT, change of border (CB) after 3 years
1812 CB after 21 years
1833 CB after 9 years
1842 CB after 22 years
1864 CB after 56 years
1920 PT lasted 20 years (Finland’s Independence 1917)
1940 PT lasted 4 years
1944 PT, but after 3 years CB by Force sales
1947 no changes in 75 years

As a NATO member Finland seeks longer Peace w/ Russia. They only obey Force.

In some International discussions Finland is called the Sparta of North. Perhaps we are not Sparta, but we a very practical what comes to our was of life, incl. how to mitigate the thread of Russia.

Russia has attacked time to time neighbour countries like 2008 Georgia. I happened to be in NY when this happened and had a conversation with Georgians protesting next to the HQ of UN. Some years later started Arab Spring (2010), and 2014 Russia attacked Ukraine. And 2022 they continued attack.

Russia is always seeking new territory as they did September 1939 with Nazi-Germany by attacking together w/ their comrades to Poland. And after that November 1939 Russia attacked Finland.

One and for all West has to stop Russia. Their capability to attack any neighbour has to be removed forever. It was done to the Germany after WWII, and now is time to stop this Red-Nazi country that started WWII w/ Nazi-Germany.

The Cold War ended 30 years ago. My grandfather fought in the Winter War and protected my family in the process. But this is a whole new century. The USSR was defeated. We won.
Why can’t you see that Russia has made great progress in creating freedom. They had no lockdowns, mask mandates, jab mandates or travel mandates. Who is free now? I certainly don’t feel much freedom here in Canada.
I have no personal interest in funding Nazis. Time to end this war.

And the UK/US haven’t been killing people by the million since WW2?

If your talking about individuals, it appears no one can touch the Clinton’s in that respect.

If you want another ‘conspiracy theorist’ about America, even one of your own patriots, Dr. Ron Paul expresses the same opinions about the country’s global hegemony. The UK is no better.

America would be a lot richer had it not continually waged overseas war since WW2. At least Russia has the excuse that Ukraine is a border dispute, when was the last time America could claim that? Cuba perhaps?

I don’t like what Russia has done but anyone calling Putin a murdering tyrant always needs reminded of the fallacious reasons over which the west attacked Iraq, non existent WMD’s.

Putin *is* a murdering tyrant.

Saddam Insane had WMD’s, he used WMD’s, and he was given numerous chances to allow weapons inspectors into Iraq to avoid the war.

Saddam himself perpetrated the idea that he had an active WMD program in the works. Saddam’s own generals thought Saddam had an active WMD program, when they were questioned after the war. It shouldn’t be a surprise that the intellignce communities of the world thought Saddam had an active WMD program.

Saddam could have shown them how wrong they were , but he chose another path that led to his destruction.

The U.S. and the UN forces made every effort to spare innocent civilians during the war.

Putin couldn’t care less about civilian casualties. In fact, killing civilians is part of his strategy.

Sigh, I know this is an old thread, but I am tired of this old chestnut. Iraq did have biological and chemical WMDs, just not nuclear. It’s also my understanding (although I could be wrong) that all of the components of a nuclear weapon were present in the country but weren’t assembled when they were found. That seems similar to claiming you don’t have a gun in your house because it’s disassembled and you’ve stored the pieces and the ammunition all in separate parts of your home. Not to mention that the UN gave Saddam 18 months to get stuff out of the country.

If you don’t believe that there were chemical weapons in Iraq, I suggest you talk to the US military members who suffered lung problems after finding some in a warehouse.

What’s hidden behind the ‘China building col stations’ is that China is building more nuclear plants than the rest of the combined world.

They are retiring coal fired power stations almost as fast as they can build them, and when the modern coal fleet is retired, it will replace them with it’s burgeoning nuclear fleet.

The west, meanwhile, is waving windmills in the wind.

Remember that. The west persuaded Zelinsky to sacrifice men and materials to a conflict he and his predecessors began, that he could have stopped.”

What I remember is Biden encouraging Zelenski to flee Ukraine when the war began. That doesn’t sound like Biden was encouraging Zelenski to fight. Zelenski told Biden: “No, thanks.”

Biden is a very reluctant warrior. Calling him a warmonger is ridiculous. He would wash his hands of Ukraine in a New York Minute (47 seconds) if he thought he could get away with doing so. Notice how he has slow-walked giving Ukraine the weapons they need to defend themselves.

Joe Biden is an appeaser. Appeasers run away from war, they don’t run to war, like Biden did in South Vietnam, and Iraq, and Afghanistan.

They think this will solve their problems.

That’s the same kind of thinking that brought them these problems in the first place. Doubling down on stupid, is what it is called around here.

Europe needs some new leaders. Ones that can think straight and logically. The current batch, with very few exceptions, does not qualify.

Here it’s more complex but it’s been in the news this week, how universities are tied to policies pushed by a third party. Not necessarily climate change matters but woke issues and anti colonialism, et.

The same mechanism is being used to push all the destructive ideas. So the solution to one is likely to be similar as I see it.

In Canada, many universities signed on to the Emergency Climate Change Declaration. Is this the case in the U.S. as well? Parents need to come at this from both directions.
