Aussie PM Scott Morrison Brandishes a Lump of Coal in Parliament

Green Fury at Australia’s Lack of Ambition at the Biden Climate Summit

Guest essay by Eric Worrall

Aussie PM Scott Morrison appears to be quietly betting the Biden climate insanity will be a one hit wonder, that the economic devastation unleashed by Biden’s tax hikes, carbon pricing, and giveaways to other nations while Americans suffer, will unleash a tsunami of voter fury which will wash the Biden administration into the dustbin of history.

The feds have ditched us on climate change, it’s time we ditch them too

Jan Fran
Journalist and presenterApril 23, 2021 — 7.30pm

Towards the end of last year, I attended a panel discussion on climate change in Sydney. It was a fairly unremarkable evening, except for one thing. There side-by-side on stage, wedged between a host of other panellists, sat the NSW Environment Minister Matt Kean and his Labor counterpart Adam Searle.

It occurred to me that this was the first time in recent memory that I’d seen both government and opposition blatantly publicly agree on the issue of climate change and how best to tackle it.

Why – I shook my proverbial fist at the proverbial sky – why can’t Canberra be like this?

When it comes to climate change and energy policy the last decade in federal politics has been a sh*tshow! Ten years, five prime ministers and zero comprehensive national climate policies later, we find ourselves among the few developed economies yet to commit to a 2050 net-zero emissions target (even China, whose mammoth emissions we use as a smokescreen for our inertia to act on climate change, has committed to carbon neutrality by 2060).

There’s “going to have to be a shift” say Biden’s people and Morrison is being urged to get on board.

But do they really need him? We don’t.

The world has forged on without Scott Morrison’s government and so has Australia. Every state and territory has individually committed to the 2050 net-zero emissions target and the country’s largest state is pulling no punches about its plan to become a renewable superpower.

Read more: https://www.smh.com.au/environment/climate-change/the-feds-have-ditched-us-on-climate-change-it-s-time-we-ditch-them-too-20210423-p57lsh.html

My question – why do greens need special government policies to make their dream happen?

Greens regularly claim renewables are the cheapest energy option.

Surely somewhere out there is a financier greedy enough to defy the big oil conspiracy which leading greens allege is holding renewables back, and cash in on the cheap green energy bonanza, without any further government intervention.

One possible explanation why this is not happening, is that green claims renewables are affordable and environmentally sustainable are a total pack of lies. Activist film maker Michael Moore threw a lot of accusations about renewable energy lies, in his documentary “Planet of the Humans”.

You missed all the should do this should do that and their viability being based con contracts for difference (CFDs), which literally means their price to be subsidised by the consumer. Are you a billionaire Griff? Of course not; you have no skin in the game

Griff:

If this was being done without subsidies, I would support it 100%, but instead it relies on “contract for difference (CfD) scheme” (a “subsidy auction”), so its just another green scam, or as the article says “Without the CfD option, the project would have limited chances of being implemented.

You can be certain that even if the Morrison government went completely ‘all-in’ on the climate scam and veered Australia in the economic ditch, Jan Fran still wouldn’t support him come the next elections.
PM Morrison just needs to actively ignore these people, and call them out when their lies are obvious, because no matter what he does, he’d never get their support at the ballot box. Best to not even try.

The woke bloke Matt Kean is a LINO (Liberal In Name Only) and reported to be the leading “moderate” in the Party parliamentary members. He is close to former PM Turnbull and the other left leaning globalist greens within LINO.

It is interesting to note that the self styled “sensible right” as they call themselves, their candidates backed by GetUp activist organisation and donations from “renewables” investors, are what has been described as “crony capitalists” creating wealth for themselves from climate hoax and creative accounting of a warming trend.

Climate ambition is ruthlessness with a more palatable moniker. It’s inflicting pain and suffering on the working class through CO2 reduction schemes that send jobs to developing countries, have poor fossil fuel vehicle drivers subsidize the Rich’s electric toys, solar panels and wind farms.

Yes, totally agree, greens hate the working class, until they need a plumber of course.

Greens with power in France are making more enemies than even I could have hoped for.

One made a complete tit of himself the other day in a council meeting by voting against a grant being proposed for a Sailing Club.

He justified his objection saying the boats were polluting the lake. It was quickly pointed out, with much sniggering, that the boats used the power of the wind and there was no pollution.

Turns out later on his real reason for objecting was that he thought it was elitist!

This is not Monaco we’re talking about, just a little sailing club for kids from all backgrounds.

Another one did the same thing for a little Aero club that had RC models as well, her wish was that “children should stop dreaming of flying”!!

These people are a cancer on our societies, and they’re all watermelons, green on the outside, red as hell on the inside.

One good way to achieve net-zero (or whatever crap that entails) is to shut down the press. No more newspapers, TV news, journalists, etc, etc. If they want to go fully green just shut down completely, that’t the only way to contribute, and, frankly, they will be living their dream.

Just to be clear, Ms Fran is not a journalist, but an propaganda-spewing activist. Journalists report news and facts, quote opinions of experts, and the opinions of politicians on public policy they may be pursuing, but leave their own opinion out of news journalism.

Giving her own opinion on climate science policy, she doesn’t seem to have the educational or professional background to understand the science or economics of climate change policies.

Her education:

Francis studied journalism and international studies at the University of Technology Sydney. At 36, all she has ever done is try to be a media personality, now apparently her path to fame is going woke of climate and fashion. You shouldn’t trust Jan Fran’s opinions on climate anymore than you should trust any uneducated Hollywood celebrity spewing the latest woke-ster fad for virtue signaling acceptance.

You can expect the “You will own nothing and you will be happy.” crowd is going to pack the courts & continue to stuff the ballot box to victory for some time into the future. They own the media nearly 100%. Most judges already seem to be on the left as is academia & Hollywood. As we are finding out the big corporations are caving in. Social media seems to be run by the Green mob and censors anyone they don’t like, plus the public schools are indoctrinating the nations children. Most Canadians know that carbon emissions are a scam. Intentionally leaving out Canada’s gigantic Boreal forest from the national carbon calculations automatically destroys the governments credibility. TREES Klem, let’s do a little math….Canada emits 850 megatons of CO2 according to the Potsdam Institute, which is about 30% high by my calcs… Thats the same amount of C as in 260 megatons of cellulose. Canada has 300 billion trees. So Canada’s totally emissions are equivalent to less than a kilogram of growth per tree. In fact, just by being green, duhoh….plus those tree replaced a couple of kilometers deep of ice in the last 80 centuries….anyway I digress….Canada is way better than Carbon neutral if the forests are included. Trudeau hopped on the woke-wagon to plant a couple of billion trees, but even lowly media reporters had enough zeros on their calculators to note it was an irrelevant gesture compared to the number of trees that naturally sprout up every year.

This same person speaks of “climate justice” but ignores that justice stands on its own feet and needs no qualifier. Any word used to qualify justice either waters it down or perverts it.

She also ignores the fact that people living in some of the best climate zones have horribly messed up their countries. These now turn up as economic refugees in countries with miserable climates but because the people there have had to work hard to survive, they have become prosperous.

Unfortunately the nanny state is now undermining this. They do not promote individual responsibility and hard work but entitlement and laziness. If the millions pouring into Europe had to support themselves or starve, 90% or more would more likely stay home and try and fix the mess.

Fortunately the people currently in charge of the Nation are as ignorant as the people that put them in office; therefore their ignorance will assure their failure. Even though they assume we are a nation of fools, their results will initiate the rapid return of common sense to the masses of American voters.

The election in 22 will initiate a transformation of votes that will seem minuscule compared to a 1994 or 2016 election; the material losses BLM and their advocates have loosed on America, plus the Biden reversals of all things previously successful will put the Biden legacy into the dustbin of history.

Bill Gates has established an organization called Breakthrough Energy.
He says, “It will raise money from governments, philanthropy and companies to make the large

Further “By taking steps like this to create the financing structures that will allow
green products to succeed, we can build new industries and companies that support
communities around the world with good jobs, while making the transition to the
clean economy.”

Notice he does not say, “I will contribute $100 billion from my vast fortune and encourage the 100 wealthiest billionaires to match this” but “It will raise money from governments . . .”

Let Gates and these 100 billionaires invest and prove this can be done profitably.
Then he can credibly invite the general public to become involved.

Whoever goes for Biden’s green insanity will look like a right royal goose WHEN it is revealed that the US election was riddled with fraud. The limp “leaders” will have been caught with their pants down, appeasing a totally FAKE president that was a puppet of our mortal enemy, the CCP.

It is in the “interests” of the CCP to destroy the west economically by deceiving them in to imploding their economies and destroying society from within.

Hopefully, the Maricopa County election audit will be concluded by mid May, which is not far away. It may transpire even early on during the audit (all rather suspicious that the Democrats are fighting tooth and nail to prevent the audit-if the election was clean, you would think they would want to put the issue to rest) that there are major discrepancies.

If the audit reveals significant fraud in Maricopa County, it will trigger other audits. If the swing states conduct audits and also find major fraud that has resulted in a stolen election, the Military will be under sworn oath to step in and take temporary control. They will either conduct a full recount or conduct a new election under their control.

As even 50% of Democrat supporters recognise that the election was stolen, the result of a new election will be a total annihilation for the Democrats. They will possibly have only a handful of members of Congress. They could even lose their safe states.

Australia only has to hang out until mid May – skirt around licking green backsides for 3 more weeks. Whoever can defy green fascism has some hope of avoiding the political fallout when the proverbial hits the fan with the US election.

Why should Australia with a population approaching 26 million do more to lower emissions than already committed to doing via the Paris Agreement?

Given that Australia is one of the very few nations that achieved earlier emissions reduction targets, Kyoto Japan Agreement for example, and is on track to achieve or exceed the present Paris Agreement targets?

The US President has a hide to demand more from a close ally and friend of America.

Dennis

China increases emissions every year by more than Australia’s total annual emissions.

China continues to construct and commission new coal fired power stations in China and for foreign aid recipient countries. As those power stations have an operating life of at least 50 years and well maintained could easily exceed 80 years it is obvious that China’s emissions will not be reducing in the foreseeable future regardless of what the CCP pretends to be their intention.

However, nobody can explain why CO2 is being targeted, essential for life on Earth, invisible and odourless gas that at present amounts to a tiny 410 ppm in the atmosphere (0.041%), if the amount increased above 1,500 ppm the world would be a greener place and crop yields would increase markedly.
