I got a delivery of 3/4 ton of clean-burning house coal several weeks before Chrismas. Our open fires are coal at the base, with several logs on top to provide a good flame.
An essential Christmans decoration – and much more interesting to watch than what passes for the telly nowadays…

and a ton or so of coal would be nice, its cheaper than wood, but Im not sure how the heater would handle it.

My greatest Christmas 2020 gift was dinner with friends that arrived unmasked and kissed and hugged their way into my cottage. I have so much missed the intimacy of a happy smile, a hug and The Kiss of Peace.
They are both deniers of the Plandemic, and he proclaimed his deplorable-ness un-prompted.
Wish we’d looked closer the coal seem where I spend the first 8 years of my life, in NE BC.
Exposed in a creek cut.
But we kids didn’t want to pry much out because of earth with trees above.
I don’t remember if we even got parents to look at it.
So parents kept on burning wood, which had to be obtained somewhere (no shortage of trees there, trembling aspen not attractive for lumber).
(The whole area has thin seams, as do many areas, occasionally someone floats the idea of getting methane out of the seams, but that area has much natural gas and electricity (though cost of distribution lines was high).)
Very disappointed no Christmas greetings from griff and loydo as they spend so much time on here, it would have showed some class to at least acknowledge the holiday
And all the effort made to concentrate all this denial in one place.
How toxic can it be since they remain unaffected by it all?

Rumor has it that griff and loydo have been tapped to help President-elect Joe Biden formulate his Climate Emergency™ policy.
Remember, Biden has forewarned us on many occasions that he will defeat climate change starting on his first day in office.
