Scientists’ petition on climate crisis blocked over fake signatories
Dozens of signatories including Mickey Mouse and Harry Potter headmaster Albus Dumbledore from Hogwarts have been removed from an Alliance of World Scientists declaration of a “climate emergency”.
Access to the 11,000 name-petition that accompanied a statement of concern published in BioScience on Tuesday was blocked on Thursday.
A statement issued by Oregon State University said “an administrative error unfortunately saw the inclusion of a small number of invalid names”.

The fact that there are fake names in there negates the validity of the entire document. Besides, with the left’s record of lying (the ends justify the means), why should we believe anything they put out?

This was all over the Australian media it was sad to see it repeated over and over, and hugely funny it still being repeated when I found out about Mickey. All links now seem to have been “disappeared”.
Administrative error? I very much doubt that. I think whoever compiled the list was having a laugh, deliberately, to show climate science for what it really is, a joke.

If you were to isolate those on the list that are not cartoon characters, and ask them detailed questions about the Catastrophic AGW theory; they would not be able to defend their own signature.
The signatories to this document are crowd followers. Their signature is as meaningless as the CAGW theory and Al Gores science background.

Scientific America “research” if you call it that was deliberately written without real evidence, it was a SAMPLE of just 30 names, out of 31,500 names!

Snopes goes on to repeat this lie made by others, since I have personally seen the ORIGINAL format when the first petition came out, there was no indication that NAS was involved or had endorsed the petition set up:

The Petition project never claimed that NAS was involved (oops there goes your lies, Snopes) The original Petition formant format never contained the words NAS or anything else that normally comes from the NAS institution. No one would have ever thought NAS involved when you read the original Petition Project format.

It was an online petition and since the respondents are required to enter their qualifications and job roles it is a simple matter to parse the list of “scientists” to see what they actually consist of. Overwhelmingly they are not scientists and even fewer have anything to do with climate. A typical list of job roles include social science, nursing, anthropology, psychology, students in various disciplines and a whole plethora of irrelevant occupations.
Just why the media chose to trumpet this while censoring the letter signed by 500 actual scientists is itself a giveaway as to their agenda.

The letter itself is a matter of assertion, not evidence, and as such to me it has no more credibility than the Guardian’s favoured polemic, despite my respect for many of the 500 who signed the letter you refer to.

I’m happy to see that more and more people realize that Cilmatology is not about saving the climate or protection of the environment. After all, the real problems are never mentioned. The biggest polluters are:
1. The military-industrial complex (military is ignored by the Kyoto protocoll)
2. Construction industry (importing illegal CO2 producers and building houses for them is a climate killer!)
3. Agrochemical industry (glyphosate is a chelator harming humans and animals)

What this says is that ABSOLUTELY ANYBODY claiming to be a “scientist” could sign, and be counted. Nobody checked anything. Just another lying ‘climate emergency’ story.
The real crisis confronting the real signatories to this petition is the prospect of unemployment. So-called scientists are just as worried about keeping their jobs as everyone else. For 40 years, they’ve had to issue one dire warning after another to keep the funds flowing. None of them wants to face the prospect of becoming a used car salesman, though as professional con artists, they have excellent qualifications.
