One of the co-founders of Extinction Rebellion has revealed she began the movement after taking ‘psychedelic medicines’ – just days following the shutdown of central Manchester by climate protesters.
Gail Bradbrook, 47, a molecular biologist, said she ‘prayed in a deep way’ while taking the substances on a retreat.
She told a BBC Inside Out West documentary that her prayer was answered within a month, with Extinction Rebellion formed last year.
Since then, protests in London and around the country have caused chaos, with a week of protests in July causing widespread disruption in the capital and the latest protest in Manchester on Friday bringing misery to drivers.

Ms Bradbrook said: ‘I’ve always been interested in how things change, in social change,’ she told the documentary.
‘I was involved in the animal rights movement as a young woman, I’ve been involved in thinking about gender and issues around racism and so on.

‘It was a really intense experience and I actually prayed for what I called the codes for social change, I thought there must be something I don’t understand, and within a month my prayer was literally answered.’
Extinction Rebellion began in Stroud, Gloucestershire, with large protests spreading quickly across the UK.
Dr Bradbrook described how it started with around 12 people in her house but went global within a year.
‘We know we’ve got about 100,000 people on the database in the UK and we reach about a million people with the social media,’ she said.
‘We’ve got 130 groups across the UK. We’re in 59 countries and it’s growing all the time.’

The movement has three demands for the UK Government: to declare a climate and ecological emergency; to act to halt biodiversity loss and reduce greenhouse gas emissions to net zero by 2025; and to create and be led by the decisions of a citizens’ assembly on climate and ecological justice.
During the documentary, cameras were allowed into an Extinction Rebellion meeting in Stroud.
A number of those taking part in the meeting are seen holding each other and crying.
Simon Bramwell, another co-founder, told the BBC: ‘Depending on the group, we’ll have prayers. We have a lot of Christians and Quakers involved in Extinction Rebellion.

First though, the 47 yr old molecular biologist needs to see a MD about that thing growing out of her right nostril.
And as for MD, I’m not talking an ENT specialist, but a psychiatrist.
Clearly she has serious emotional stability issues… BPD etc.
That is a simple nose ring. You simply snap on the leash when it is time to lead them back into the house. Many have one in the nose or ear or both, these days. Quite convenient.
As you may know, nose rings have been used with farm animals for a very long time.

As an engineer that has studied control theory, I can see that the long term climate is stable and feedbacks have to be reasonably bound as fact dictated by common sense. As a result I have been skeptical and have been following every post on this blog for years, mainly to keep up with the craziness of it all.
I have a friend, who didn’t believe me, particularly since I was “only reading one website”. They expressed this opinion, with no study or further academic study for many years.
One morning a year ago, my friend came to me and reported that Jesus/God had told them the following three things. (Not in these exact words) 1) That there was no such thing as man made climate change. 2) that it was invented by political forces, 3) the reason being that it provides an excuse not to be compassionate and help the poor.
That was the gist of it.
They have seen the light. And it´s a good thing, who- or whatever is the eye opener.
It would seem that those in Extinction Rebellion are still taking their psychedelic medicines as they call them, because they all appear to have lost their tiny little minds.
It looks like the psychedelic experience was only the icing on the cake for somebody already deeply involved in extremist environmentalism and “social justice”.
Someone call an excorcist.

In reality, they are a pack of bigots. They are totally intolerant of the views of others. Just try talking reason with any of these delusional fools. They are totally convinced-like a committed religious zealot. I suspect that a more concerted effort on our side to talk reason in to them will find their promise of being non violent to be untrue. As it is, their deliberate acts of restricting the movements of others can be considered as acts of violence.
Just saying “sorry” is NOT a substitute for being liable for their deliberate infringements upon the rights of others. In reality, it is an admission- they must pay the damages owing to those inconvenienced.
The worldwide Extinction Rebellions coming up on September 20th will be deliberately impeding upon our freedoms of movement. Perhaps we should extend the courtesy and deliberately block them as they march, see how they like it. If they try to move us by force, have them charged with assault. If they assault us, there goes there “non-violent” status.

The Flight from Science and Reason has reached stampede proportions.
Reality is that in every generation, there are questions which cannot be answered using science. The most eternal one is: ‘Does God exist?’
So if you are an inquisitive person, even trained in science you will find questions that science cannot answer.
So either you accept the question is unanswerable or you decide to follow your feelings.
The problem with climate cults is that they reject science which can answer certain questions because the answer is one they cannot handle.

Gail Bradbrooke is something of a fraud and it is likely she is getting the soft approach from the Government because they need her help to push the agenda. Similar to suing the EPA to get the legislation they themselves wanted to introduce but couldn’t get through.
