I’ve never understood what “climate justice” is all about. I understand it even less now.
This happened in my town today:
Hundreds march in downtown Chico for women’s rights
I could not help but notice this photo, and the elements within.

Me thinks they are a bit confused.
What do you think?
Climate justice has nothing to do with women’s rights. Any claim to the contrary is probably based on a perverted metaphor that compares women to the female characterization of Earth as “mother Earth”, and, further, based on a perverted metaphor that compares oil drilling to rape.
If “justice” means “the quality of being fair and reasonable”, then I would say that injustice to climate is being committed by so called “climate scientists”, who are anything but fair and reasonable, where actual science is concerned. A further injustice to climate is being committed by these very women who parasitize the word, “climate”, with their perversions.
After the predictable (but nonetheless unpleasant) sexist tirades have settled, may I suggest that the protestor just had so many placards in her cupboard that she pulled out the wrong one.
Susan,
Your suggestion seems very reasonable. And that’s why it also seems very unlikely. (^_^)
Conformity across the board of issues – no deeper than that. They’re both on the same side of the fence, therefore…
“Intersectionality”. Basically, it wraps all aspects of the Progressive agenda under a single umbrella. So being for “women’s rights” also automatically makes you for “climate justice”, anti-capitalism, the BDS movement, “universal basic income”, free college, etc, etc…
I am sick of hearing the word Progressive, when its quite obvious that the Green movement in all of its different guises is in fact going backward.
Progress is to go forward, but no way is the anti everything going in that direction.
