Trump posts first order of business – kill the Climate Action Plan and Waters of the U.S. rule

From USAToday:

Trump begins with call to kill climate action plan

WASHINGTON —- As President Trump delivered his inaugural address Friday, his new White House team posted a proposal to eliminate President Obama’s environmental regulations.

“For too long, we’ve been held back by burdensome regulations on our energy industry. President Trump is committed to eliminating harmful and unnecessary policies such as the Climate Action Plan and the Waters of the U.S. rule,” reads the top issue brief on the new president’s White House web site. “

New executive actions are expected later Friday as the nation’s 45th president begins his administration.”

At noon, as Trump took the oath of office, the government switched over the White House web site from Obama’s to Trump’s. (Obama’s is now frozen in time, archived by the National Archives and Records Administration under the Presidential Records Act.)

The new president has already taped another White House duty, the Saturday morning radio address to be broadcast tomorrow morning.

After an inaugural address saying that “the forgotten men and women will be forgotten no longer,” Trump had lunch with members of Congress and led the inaugural parade.

So what’s he going to do ? Make the climate models run hotter and hotter until Trump caves in?
Or maybe he could just refuse to discuss climate with him, that would be a really hard hitting tactic. Some of these climate scientists can be pretty mean if you don’t agree with them !!

Just an aside.
There was an American tourist sitting in a bar in Cardiff listening to three ladies near him. He leaned over and said, “I love being in England and hearing the way you ladies speak”. The women looked scornfully at him and yelled ” It’s Wales you idiot, Wales”. The American apologized and said ” Oh I am sorry, I love being in England and hearing the way you whales speak.” It took several weeks before he was able to be released fro the hospital.

Nice one Tom, I must remember that. There is another one going round where two women on a bus in Cardiff dressed in headscarves are chatting to each other. An English tourist leans over and says ‘We speak English in the UK you know” To which they replied ” Ond, Dwy’n siared Cymraeg yn Caerdydd” ( But we speak Welsh in Cardiff) Terrible grammar but I’m sure you get the joke!

Trump, previously Drumpf, I think will be no nonsense about climate. He has a lot of experience, far more court cases than most, and knows or has great advisors that will surely ensure the use of the system to full advantage. I’m prepared to be surprised, very surprised – I think this is the big catalyst for the truth to come out world over and those that have claimed CAGW will be forced to debate the issue, something all of them have (conspiratorially) strenuously avoided. I hope to watch each one destroyed in forced open debate. They are a very dirty blot on the historical spirit of science and learning, and of human moral integrity. They should be stripped of all advantage and dishonourably discharged into the sewers, their works erased from the history of human learning and shown forth as a warning to others that are tempted to deceive & profit from same, to promote themselves and their false reporting in the name of science and academy. I hope Trump prosecutes to the full their blatant deception and various illegal, immoral, self centering profits from same. We know who many of them are. When they realise what Trump is capable of and how the tables have turned today, how they may well be called out into open debate, I expect they’ll be very hard to find.

January 20, 2017 12:04 pm

I find this answer always befuddles advocates of “climate change”.
Did you know that less than 25,000 years ago where the city of Chicago is located today was under almost a mile of solid glacial ice. So, of course I believe in climate change. The climate is always changing. Something changed about 20,000 years ago to unfreeze Chicago. That change is still continued to this very day.

Like several of your correspondents from the Uk I despair at the now bare-faced lies that constitute the BBCs coverage of climate and environmental matters. The real issue is when our dopey members of Parliament will wake up and start asking some serious questions about the flagrant disregard the BBC, a publicly funded organisation, shows for its charter which stipulates that it should be fair and balanced in its reporting. Instead we are treated to near hysterical abuse of anyone who has a reasoned contrary view to climate reporting on the vanishingly few occasions when a skeptic is allowed anywhere near discussion of such issues on programming. This contempt for truth and fairness is now just plain scandalous . I don’t see any immediate prospect of change either. We actually had a news report yesterday praising China for investing billions on building solar farms – no mention of coal fired power stations. They actually do treat the British people as if they are stupid.

I’m afraid it is the skeptic minority view which is out of kilter with observed reality.
Its all very well coming to one of the reservations where skeptic buffalo abound -out there on the plains of reason they are a vanished species.
Unreported here China this week cancelled 104 coal power stations after cancelling 30 last autumn, china last year installed 34 GW of soalr panels – nearly the total installed in Germany.

With a genuine DOJ, rioting will be treated as the serious crime it is and not play acting. Facing felony riot charges with lawyer costs of 100k and up, in order to to prevent convictions and 200k fines and multiyear jail sentences, Felony Riot is no longer a lark that Daddy will casually pay fines for disorderly conduct misdemeanors.

Maybe off topic, but what the…?
The campaign to impeach President Trump has begun
The effort to impeach President Donald John Trump is already underway.
At the moment the new commander in chief was sworn in, a campaign to build public support for his impeachment went live at ImpeachDonaldTrumpNow.org, spearheaded by two liberal advocacy groups aiming to lay the groundwork for his eventual ejection from the White House.
The organizers behind the campaign, Free Speech for People and RootsAction, are hinging their case on Trump’s insistence on maintaining ownership of his luxury hotel and golf course business while in office. Ethics experts have warned that his financial holdings could potentially lead to constitutional violations and undermine public faith in his decision-making.
Their effort is early, strategists admit. But they insist it is not premature — even if it triggers an angry backlash from those who will argue that they are not giving the new president a chance.

Mercury build up in your body and accumulates over your lifetime and is not detectible except in your corpse . By being my own lab rat and approach it as being a electrical control and wiring problem (my employment from 1974 until 2009 and DIY er til present) Simply put; methyl mercury stored in your fat cells or created in your saliva from mercury vapour in your mouth by mercury resistant bacteria strip the selenium out of your selenium dependent nerve filaments breaking one or many connections.
Loosing these connections can logically be connected to almost all conditions being treated but never cured or prevented by modern aliphatic medicine (BP ,diabetes ,stroke ,autism ,Parkinson’s ,Alzheimer’s ,MS .ALS etc. ,etc. ,ad ifinitum pharma profits)
Only a excess store of Selenium available to replace these disconnects fast can give you some form of immunity. In my case I was able to restore full muscle control of both arms and both legs in less than one minute because I had been taking 200mcg selenium yeast for a number of years.

Are you claiming that Trump has foreign investments that somehow breach the Emoluments provisions? I have never seen this before. All American presidents since 1900 have been quite wealthy. It’s one of the premier, if unwritten, requirements to become president. Most would have had foreign investments, yet nobody claimed that they breached the constitution.
In fact, the text I read was: “any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince, or foreign State”. Perhaps you can describe, exactly, what present, emolument, office or title you are claiming Trump has received. Secondly, which King, Prince, or foreign State did he receive it from.
On the face of it, this claim is an extremely long stretch and has absolutely no hope of succeeding.
