Don’t laugh. There’s probably already a “Climate Ethics” bill, with a mandatory Magic Green Climate Ethics Plug for every vehicle, which the carmaker will install for you for only an extra $4000 per vehicle – proceeds to be paid to victims of unethical climate.
It’s all very well to laugh about this, but if there is a one in a million chance it works, we should encourage, no, FORCE, car owners to buy one.

What the device conceals is the latest development in “cold fusion”.

Reminds me of those magnets in the fuel line to help increase gas mileage. And the cell phone antenna boosters. And the ads which claim they make your computer faster over the internet. Those PC tune-up ads keep getting shut down by the feds, but they reopen under a new name.

There is probably no legal restraint on selling it, as long as it doesn’t claim to prevent dehydration. That would be a serious offence.

I agree; just in time for Durban. If we got a bunch of these and put them on charter planes carrying delegates to/from the conference, they could load the fuel tanks with 50-70% less fuel, significantly reducing the carbon footprint for the conference.

I’m going to plug not one, but a whole string of these into my car and drive around. In fact I think I have a dozen strings in my basement somewhere. I’ll save so much fuel that my car will actually be producing more gasoline than it uses. In effect I’ll be sucking CO2 out of the air through the cars intake, and replacing it with O2 out the tailpipe. The big problem will be the fire hazard created as my fuel tank fills to overflowing.

i BOUGHT 6 AND PLUGGED THEM INTO THE CIGARETTE LIGHTER SOCKET ON A 5 WAY ADAPTER. i HAVEN’T BOUGHT ANY FUEL SINCE AND THE TANK KEEPS OVERFLOWING!
I don’t need one, my 8-track rewinder seems to work just as well for DVDs. Odd huh?
Maybe it just jams the on-board computer so the car won’t run at all. Then you could save 100% of the fuel cost. Walking is good for you. (consult with doctor before doing this) Think of the auto insurance savings as well. And how much longer your car could last.
