What really goes on at COP16 in Cancun

I’m really disappointed that I didn’t get the “fossil of the day” award. Watch the presentation at COP16 and get some popcorn.

I wonder if the producers of Jurrasic Park gave permission to licensed use of the logo, of if they are just scofflaws?

A hopeful sign? I just watched some Canadian TV news networks where these stunts were big stories for Copenhagen, and I saw nothing about this! And they must be getting bombarded with tweets etc. from this crowd.
Maybe tomorrow they’ll give Canada the Super-Duper-Extra-Bad-Fossil Award while dressed in polar bear suits to see if they can generate some more interest?

Good grief Anthony, I get e-mails about ugly people and their dress at Walmart-now you too? Stunned I tell you!
REPLY: ???

Anthony, you’ve never opened one of those emails? Photos of grotesque bodies in the most grotesque, frequently transgendered, garb, touring the WalMart aisles? You haven’t lived!
For your eddyfication I’ll forward a sample to you by email shortly. Remember, you asked for it!

“…But I won’t waste any more of your time…” the man says at 1:01.
How right he was.

Anthony;
Well, your email seems to be well and truly unavailable, so try peopleofWalMart.com .
You’ll spend many happy hours with their slideshows!

I am a Canadian welder. I swear too much, I drink too much, and the food I eat is not good for me. I dont give money to hobos on the street because I know how hard I worked for that dollar.
that goof handing out those awards has never done an honest day’s work in his life, (just look at him) and neither have those flag carrying “dancers”.
to see these hobos presume to lecture the rest of us on how to live is just insulting.
Start the burner under that smoke stack, dam that river, bridge that gap. push back the night. You might wonder why these fools are trying to let the outdoors back in, when we’ve spent our entire history trying to keep the outdoors out.

I’m a proud Canadian, eh!
There is a downside of living in “The Best Place On Earth”. A modest home in Vancouver will cost you about $1,000,000, more if it has a view.
House prices in Toronto are slightly less, but who wants to live there?

I made it to the 2:12 mark. That was it for me. I do have a life, you know.
(A shout out to the Canadians: Way to go!)

That’s about as far as I could watch too.
Then I read all the comments about “Yea Canada”. But what about #1 & #2?
So I had to fast forward to the additional awards. Yea Canada! But it’s only for one day. Tomorrow’s award no doubt goes to the U.S.
What’s the odds China & India get a pass?

Rocks for brains…who are the real fossils?

November 30, 2010 8:17 pm

Who were 1& 2? The download on a satellite connection just takes too long never mind having to watch that drivel …

Great comments here. It was a close call, but I would have to give steven hoffer’s comment @7:31 pm some kind of award.

It is amazing that Canada is the only western country with the courage to stand up to the idiots that would force us into the disaster that these people advocate. The true north strong and still kinda free.

A gold, silver, and a bronze on the first day of the the Climate Olympics in Cancun in November! At that rate Canada could top it’s 26 medals in Vancouver in February!
I dont know what makes me more proud to be a Canadian!
Own the podium indeed, eh?!

HAHAHA, that was too funny, Wasn’t it the Mayor of Toronto last year that accepted the award? I guess they found another D[****]e to do it this year. It probably wasn’t hard to do since they have allot to choose from at this event. HEHEHE!!

WTF? My “weird-o-meter” just broke watching this.
I have no idea what they are doing….nor do I care.
What a waste of space, time, and energy.

Steven Hoffer, I actually gave a ho[bo] some change today, just reached into my change cup, and gave him whatever came up in my hand, About 15 seconds later he comes back and knocks on my window, in his hand is a double aa battery. He says something about thanks, but i don’t really have a use for a battery, and gives it back to me! Had a smile on my face the rest of the day!

Last time I was in Vancouver I saw some pretty impressive houseboats in a marina in front of some expensive real estate towers. Definitely less than $1,000,000 I would say, and guaranteed water and marina views 🙂

I guess I am becoming old, as the video just filled me with a deep sense of sadness that the young people in the video are probably the sort of kids whose parents love them for doing well at school and being interested in stuff. And they are being used in the worst possible way, a little like the string ensembles that were forced to play for the entertainment of their guards in the death camps, except these kids are unaware of the evil of those like Maurice Strong who are using them for their own ends.
