London (AFP) – Two climate activists disrupted a London stage performance of William Shakespeare’s “The Tempest”, starring Hollywood actress Sigourney Weaver, on Monday.
The protesters climbed onto the stage at London’s Theatre Royal, launching a confetti cannon and holding a sign which read “Over 1.5 Degrees is a Global Shipwreck”.
It is difficult to imagine a more dedicated Hollywood supporter of the green movement than Sigourney Weaver. Here is Sigourney Weaver speaking at the 2016 DNC in support of Hillary Clinton’s presidential bid;
What can I say? Radicals always eat their own. Or maybe JSO are just pig ignorant, and didn’t know Sigourney Weaver is a green. UK greens have never been the sharpest tools in the box.

The climate champions at the Guardian, BBC etc. couldn’t care less about the accuracy of their reporting (which has gone from irresponsibility to lunacy) as long as they satisfy their left wing agenda responsibilities. It looks to me a lot like panic from a very inadequate bunch of people who really should know better but cannot accept an embarrassing defeat from the sheer common sense of the climate sensible. .
On the contrary, it must be excruciating for them to report on this lunacy because it makes all those who are more moderate in their support of climate alarmism look a little crazy by association. To their credit, the Guardian reported it straight. Maybe they don’t realize how crazy the incessant climate apocalypse reporting looks to everyone else.
If one asked these idiotic and selfish prunes where the 1.5degs came from, would they answer “Actually Paris decided two degrees but we recognised with horror that it was going to take so long to reach 2 that people would get bored and turn off. So we got the IPCC to produce SR1.5 in time for the failed Katowice COP. It’s full of self justification for the 0.5degs change but was widely condemned as unsuitable for policy formation.” Give up coal in 12 years ( from then)!! I don’t think so. I have moderate brain damage from reading about half of SR1.5, Have you read it?
The Greens took over Brighton Council in the UK, the infighting between their different factions meant decisions were never made and Brighton ended up with the lowest level Council household waste recycling in the UK. Idiots !!!
i saw that video yesterday i think. anyone here agree with me that that was the most pathetic protest ever? come on…no glue, tomato soup! truly pathetic.
I read the story before I viewed the video. I was expecting a huge explosion of confetti.
Instead we got ‘puff’. And you could hardly read their tiny sign.
Sic Caliban on them, I say.
Let me know when that show is about to start so I can park in a lawn chair, pop a beer, and light a cigarette.

I can’t say I think much of Sigourney Weaver matter of fact I don’t think about her at all. She doesn’t deserve to be treated like that. I think a lot less of protesters, especially these clowns. They are abusing their right to peaceful protest. I’m not saying they should have the crap beat out of them but if someone did do it and I was on the jury I would vote not guilty.
