All the boom operator needs to do is consistently give himself an out

‘I was completely confused by the unscripted on stage actions; I accidently bonked the guy (I couldn’t even see him … the banner obstructed my view as I was trying to zoom in on the dancers); I was so afraid and distracted by girl with the agent orange dust that my reactions weren’t planned or thought out I surely did not intend to harm anyone; I was just trying to continue to do my job.

(Sue away. Counter sue … ‘my emotional distress is the result of an action that was intended as such’)

I would gladly add to the boom operator’s defense fund had he taken out that anti-social mental patient tossing powder.

Well, he got the headline he wanted but probably not the one he was looking for (and a closeup to boot)!

In case anyone is interested, the protest sign translates as ‘Restore Wetlands’ from Swedish. About 20% of Sweden is still wetlands according to the info I found. Much of it has been drained.

Talk about lowering the boom on someone.

And a much belated welcome to Sweden and Finland to the NATO alliance.

Without drainage, most of Sweden would be uninhabitable. Just a little farmland in the south, formerly belonging to Denmark, and the rest mainly boreal bog. Good source of big iron though.

Apparently Kasparov hasn’t read either plan. Putin’s calls for Ukraine’s surrender. Trump’s doesn’t.

Trump armed Ukraine, despite rampant corruption and Russian infiltration. Obama didn’t, despite big bribes to the Biden Crime Family. Obama kept his promise to Putin of free rein after the 2012 election. And sure enough, imposed only token sanctions after 2014 invasions.

While financing CCP biowarfare research, leading to COVID pandemic.

I think Russia’s first cease fire offer would do. The two breakaway republics stay independent and Uk does not join NATO. Not a big ask really. Russia attacked because the breakaways were about to be attacked by the Uk Army. Most of the people in them are Russian. What started this was the 8 year Uk civil war.

The fact that Ukraine had the equivalent of the SS/Nazis going after Russian citizens, probably didn’t help !! 😉

It still is. The Nazi Asov Battalion are being provided with weapons by the US in the Donbas.

Meanwhile the US is providing weapons to Israel.

And of course the US provided weapons to the Mujahideen in Afghanistan to fight the USSR who were combatting Islamic terrorism crossing the borders into Russia. Those weapons were stockpiled and ultimately turned on the US for 20 years in the country.

None of it makes the slightest bit of sense.

Is the US funding/arming Hamas and Iran?

Not that we know of. So the simplistic ‘follow the money’ expression is, as usual, nonsense.

“Somebody” gave Iran 6 billion dollars. Supposedly it was their money that we froze, but so? Iran has supported terror and had Americans “unalived”. (sorry, but I’m used to dumbing down comments for youtube)

Iran has supported terrorism – but it’s the US/NATO that’s spent trillions of dollars since WW2 bombing the beejezus out of overseas nations in at least 70 major conflicts? None of them anywhere near a border with the US.

And the lasting benefit to the US since 9/11?

The Patriot act – Allowing the US government to spy on the activities of every US citizen.

Luser still believes it wasn’t the Democrats that sided with some Russians to create a dossier against Trump

Mental blindless is the Luser’s “way”

The very last person Putin wants in the White House is Trump.

With Biden there, he has a weak-minded, dementia-ridden clown who doesn’t which “depends” to put on in the morning.

Where do idiots like you get this “if you side with Putin” nonsense. It’s yet another leftist ruse to shut down debate.

And your video is so old it includes reference to Russia “monkeying around” with a US election. An accusation found to be factually untrue.

Meanwhile, those of us with a functioning brain in our heads recognise that having taken around two miles of Ukrainian territory beyond that which they first occupied in 2022, it would take Russia roughly 1,400 years to fight the remaining 1,400 miles or so across Europe to the English Channel.

No one ‘supports’ Russia. What we do support is for an unnecessary and destructive war to stop, which could have happened in March 2022 when a draft peace agreement was established in Istanbul between Russia and Ukraine in which the Russians would withdraw from all Ukrainian territory, in return for a promise that Ukraine would never join NATO.

Joe Biden despatched the then Prime Minister of the UK, Boris Johnson, to threaten Zelensky in order to force him to tear the deal up.

We later found out from the former Chancellor of Germany, Angela Merkel, that both Minsk agreements were merely cover to train, arm and finance the Ukrainian military in order to create conditions to site US/NATO missiles in Ukraine prior to the country being granted entry into NATO.

Furthermore, statements have been made by Biden and numerous NATO member leaders that the objective of the war is to induce a palace coup within Russia, to depose Putin, and Balkanise the nation. Conduct entirely contradicting international law.

The Russians are defending their border from the Ukrainians who were stupid and corrupt enough to believe that western nations would be behind them “For as long as it takes” which actually meant until the November US election. If Biden could win the election he would abandon Ukraine faster than he abandoned Afghanistan.

The Ukrainian military body count was running around 500,000 dead and seriously injured last summer by independent observers. Their losses are today running as high as 2,000 men per day.

The flower of Ukraine’s youth dead, and the future of the country destroyed.

For what?

American Democrats want the same thing Putin does, resurrection of the USSR.

Reply to  Gregg Eshelman
July 6, 2024 8:18 am

Why would Putin want the resurrection of a failed ideology?

What a truly insane belief. You have swallowed western propaganda hook, line and sinker.

Look at the facts I recited. It’s taken Russia 2 years to take a couple of miles of Ukrainian territory. How long would it take to defeat former eastern block countries, many of which are now NATO members?

Reply to  HotScot
July 6, 2024 11:01 am

Therein lies the problem – by extending the NATO trip-wire all the way to Russia’s borders, the West has effectively guaranteed that any overt conflict with Russia will rapidly escalate out of control.

Russia is booming with growth approaching 4% despite 14 rounds of European and US sanctions and a major border conflict.

Putin is not going to persuade the Russian public to return to the misery of communism they abandoned, within living memory, anytime soon.

Where do you get these crazy ideas? The Cold War?

You need to shake yourself free of the 1960’s and join the rest of us in the 21st Century.

American Democrats want the same things the Russian Bolsheviks wanted – complete overthrow of the market economy and the fundamental transformation of society along Marxist, i.e., ‘egalitarian’ lines. The only ‘good’ news is that most Democrats and their financial / corporate supporters don’t realize that, as ‘useful idiots’, they’re going to be crushed along with the rest of us when that happens.
