Three decades or so ago, during the Cold War, I knew a guy who had dual citizenship, USSR and the US, because of family.
He went to Moscow to visit relatives that taught at the University of Moscow.
He was talking to some students that were asking him about the US. They liked what they heard.
Then a Communist Party member, a student, came up and started to argue with him.
At some point he said that the Communist don’t really want peace.
She responded, “We want peace and we’ll have peace when everyone is Communist.”
He responded, “I’ll never become a Communist.”
She responded, “Then we’ll kill you.”
(So much for them wanting “peace”!)

(I had abandoned Catholicism by age 20).
So for these last 40 years or so I have had the leftist blinkers removed from my eyes, and I’m now witnessing more irrationality, deception, coercion, bullying and downright idiocy in the left than I could imagine was ever possible.

I think this is very common. Many people on the left begin to believe their own lies. You can tell that some of these leftists really believe Donald Trump is the second coming of Afolf Hitler. They have taken in all the leftwing propaganda and have incorporated it into their own world view. So it’s hard to tell who is deliberately lying and who really believes the lies they tell because of this psychological condition of humans.
The one thing we can be sure of is they are all lying when it comes to politics and political power.
