John Kerry Resigning as Climate Envoy to Help the Biden Election Campaign

John Kerry to leave White House to assist Biden re-election campaign

Kerry’s office announced the news on Saturday after he had informed his staff and spoken with Biden earlier in the week

John Kerry, the United States’ special climate envoy and former secretary of state and presidential contender, plans to leave the Biden administrationlater this winter and switch to helping Joe Biden campaign to be re-elected to the White House, Kerry’s office said.

Kerry informed his staff earlier on Saturday after speaking with Biden this week, a spokesperson for Kerry told Reuters.

Politics news outlet Axios first reported the news about Kerry, 80, on Saturday.

He believes that a second term in the White House for Biden would be the “single biggest” difference for progress in the climate crisis, Axios reported, initially citing a source close to the administration.

Biden climate czar John Kerry likens D-Day invasion to battling climate change: ‘The fight of our times’

Thousands of American and allied servicemembers died in the June 6, 1944, invasion

By Brandon Gillespie | Fox News

Special Presidential Envoy for Climate John Kerry celebrated the 79th anniversary of the D-Day invasion of Normandy by likening the historic event that resulted in the deaths of thousands of American and allied service members, and the eventual victory over the Nazi regime, to the fight against climate change.

“Today is June 6th. D-Day. One of the most singularly important moments of history,” Kerry told those in attendance. “A moment that calls to mind every single thing that defined the past half of the 20th century and beginning of the 21st century.”

“They were fighting for a set of values I would say to you are just as important today as they were then. They put their lives on the line to fight against fascism, tyranny and misinformation and the savage slaughter of innocent lives,” he said.

“Make no mistake, just as that was a fight for the future as much as anything we have ever faced, what we are seeing now is the same,” he later added.

“What is also clear right now is we can also win this fight, but it requires the same level of innovation and mobilization that was required back then by those in the greatest generation,” he said. “Today’s threat comes from all of us. It comes from the result of the things we do or avoid doing.”

I think Kerry’s resignation may have something to do with the heat being put on him by Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives.

They were asking Kerry last week to tell them all about the people who worked underneath him in the Climate Czar office and how much they were being paid, and Kerry more or less, refused to answer their questions.

And my local representative to the U.S. House has been floating a bill to cut off all funding to Kerry’s Climate Czar office. And others are doing similar things.

So I think Kerry has a little bit of incentive to leave the office now and make it look good by saying he intends to campaign for Biden.

I’ve watched Kerry in congressional hearings – by far, the most arrogant person I’ve ever seen being questioned in such hearings. When he gets a question he doesn’t like, the look of horror on his face! He’ll often just interrupt the questioner. It’s as if an elite like himself shouldn’t have to be subject to questions from our elected representatives. It’s beneath his dignity- which is how he presents himself. No doubt it’s tough to sit there and asked tough questions- but it’s more manly to do it with some self restraint and humility.

Biden doesn’t call the shots on anything.

The “faceless men” running the Democrat party manipulate every aspect of 46’s government, and beyond.

They don’t want a change of president, lest the new one isn’t as compliant as old Joe and his old missus.

And the great tragedy of all this is that Biden doesn’t have any family who are willing to step in and halt this blatant elder abuse.

Reply to  Tom Abbott

Biden doesn’t need to know where Sec of Defense is, or what he is doing. Biden’s day to day activities don’t relate to that. Biden is told what is going on by ‘others’.

If they can get Lloyd Austin before congress again, and the handlers have not guessed the questions & choregraphed the responses, they need to push him on his real contacts/notices during his hospital stay to shed some light on who is running the whole show.

Let’s not forget that John Kerry called every American who served in South Vietnam as being baby killers and guilty of mass torture, and Kerry did so in testimony before the U.S. Congress and the whole world. Kerry’s anti-war efforts are well-known.

And then John Kerry later conspires with North Vietnamese negotiators to undermine the peace deals that were being made in Paris.

So, in reality, John Kerry is a dispicable liar and traitor to his country, and he fits right in with all the other traitors serving in the Biden administration. Birds of a feather, flock together.

From the link:

https://asiapacificcurriculum.ca/learning-module/opium-wars-china

“The Opium Wars in the mid-19th century were a critical juncture in modern Chinese history. The first Opium War was fought between China and Great Britain from 1839 to 1842. In the second Opium War, from 1856 to 1860, a weakened China fought both Great Britain and France. China lost both wars. The terms of its defeat were a bitter pill to swallow: China had to cede the territory of Hong Kong to British control, open treaty ports to trade with foreigners, and grant special rights to foreigners operating within the treaty ports. In addition, the Chinese government had to stand by as the British increased their opium sales to people in China. The British did this in the name of free trade and without regard to the consequences for the Chinese government and Chinese people.

The lesson that Chinese students learn today about the Opium Wars is that China should never again let itself become weak, ‘backward,’ and vulnerable to other countries. As one British historian says, “If you talk to many Chinese about the Opium War, a phrase you will quickly hear is ‘luo hou jiu yao ai da,’ which literally means that if you are backward, you will take a beating.”

I see reports occasionally claiming the Fentanyl war in the United States is payback from the Chicoms for the Opium drugging of Chinese citizens in the 19th century.

I guess John Kerry’s family was involved in that in some way, if they are trading opium. Was your family trying to make the Chinese weak and docile and dependent, John?

Fentanyl is making many Americans weak and docile and dependent, and is making many of them dead. In the case of Fentanyl, you don’t have to be an addict to die from the drug. It is mixed with all sorts of other drugs and if you buy drugs on the street, there is no way you can guarantee you are not getting a fatal dose of Fentanyl along with the drug you were seeking.

It only takes one bad choice to take your life. And it is really sad that young kids who have no clue about this drug die from it every day.

And the Trafficer-in-Chief, Joe Biden, has not done a thing to stop this insanity. It’s unbelievable that he is not laying down the law to those responsible, but he is not. Instead, Biden enables this murderous criminality to continue.

It’s hard to imagine a president of the United States would do nothing while the nation is being invaded by criminals, and mental patients, and gangs and lethal drugs. But that is exactly what Biden is doing: Nothing.

And it’s not just Biden, it’s the whole radical Democrat Party that is behind all this. You don’t hear any of them complaining about the situation, do you? That’s because they are not complaining about it. It’s acceptable to them.

Radical Democrats are not fit to rule us. They screw up everything they touch. The last three+ years are a perfect example.

Trump, if he’s smart, will tell John Kerry, and the People of the United States, there is no evidence that CO2 will do any of the terrible things climate alarmists claim.

John Kerry will sputter and exclaim, “Of course, there’s evidence!”

Trump should say: “Ok, let’s see your evidence.”

And then we here at WUWT will take over the conversation and demonstrate that what Kerry presents as evidence is not really evidence at all. 🙂

the eventual victory over the Nazi regime

The National Socialists used the “democratic” process to take over the German government. A political process that was ostensibly based on freedom became the most tyrannical and vicious in modern history. As there are changes in every institution and organization over time, we are seeing developments in the US that don’t correspond to its Constitution. Some of these are related to changing technology, others to social changes. For instance, in the technology sphere, the US Social Security Administration continues to issue life-time cards that must be presented on certain occasions made out of cheap, fragile paper. Wouldn’t want advancing technology to change that happy circumstance. On the other hand, government mandates abandoning developed, reliable hydrocarbon energy and replacing it with experimental, unproven, sporadic, expensive renewable energy by executive decree. It’s uncertain how far the US federal government could actually go in changing the lives of its subjects but it appears we will find out.

Seriously? My comment is awaiting moderation?

Most Media use the N word – especially where Trump is concerned – and when quoting a source you’re kind of stuck with it

Is this news?

The n-word …

To get around moderation just type News@m, and the moderation is fooled.

From the quoted text extract from The Guardian in the above article:

” . . . and switch to helping Joe Biden campaign to be re-elected to the White House, Kerry’s office said.”

Upon said announcement, all prospective candidates to oppose Joe Biden in the next Presidential election are reported to have jumped with joy!

As a Canadian, I can’t imagine what Kerry is good for. All I can say is “Useless Elites of America – Unite!” is their call to arms against common sense.

Lets use the correct term, Oligarchs.

Those who are buying the votes of the American electorate, and controlling the propaganda of the US MSM.

Kerry is one of their Front Men. The public face (!) of the oligarchs.

I wouldn’t want Kerry’s face to be my public face, but I’m not an oligarch, so what do I know? 🙂

Kerry is sort of an older “Tru-duh” kinda guy….never in doubt in his mind that he is correct despite all his failures.

Never in doubt. A very good description of Kerry. He is confidently wrong on every subject.

I’m old enough to remember when Americans would mock an arrogant guy who made his megawealth via multiple marriages.

I figure as long as I have a carbon footprint a fraction of John Kerry’s, I’m the superior human being.

Kerry injecting energy into a campaign?? Are you kidding? You take a simply minded president and combine him with an old guy depressing guy that can’t walk and chew gum at the same time will not be a recipe for the incumbent’s success. They both will be more effective hiding in the basement.

But who’s going to replace Kerry? Biden has to have a climate czar.

Biden should put Kamala Harris in charge of controlling the Earth’s climate.

She’s done such a good job of controlling the Southern U.S. border that she should get a reward like this.

Kamala who?

Given Kerry’s competence level, this move helps insure Joe loses. Of course Joe is working hard on that himself. Bidenomics, southern border, Hunter, cognitive impairment…
I think there is a good chance the DNC will eventually ‘remove’ him because his polling is so poor, and run Gavin Newsom.

Eventually? They’re running out of time – I thought nominations had to be in around now.

My understanding is that because of the DNC superdelegates, they could even wait to the convention.

State primaries for political party candidates are designed to spend tax payer money on generating free advertising and calling it news coverage.

It is always the delegates to the political conventions that decide who the party nominees are.

I think the Democrats can finagle just about any candidate they want, at any time during the process. The big problem this year for the Movers and Shakers is Kamala Harris is in the way of putting a viable Democrat candidate up as the nominee for president.

Kamala would fair worse than Biden if she ran for president on her own. She couldn’t even get people in her own State, California, to vote for her. She dropped out of the presidential race last time before she was embarrassed by the California vote.

If Joe and Kamala both resigned, then it would be smooth sailing for the Movers and Shakers.

Joe’s approval rating is at an all-time low of 33 percent as of yesterday.

Who are these 33 percent? Well, they are the hardcore radical Democrats with a few clueless people mixed in. So what this tells us is the radical Democrats represent just a little more than 30 percent of Americans.

I saw a breakdown of voters yesterday and it had 30 percent Democrat, and 30 percent Republican, and 40 percent Independent.

If the Legacy Leftwing Media did not exist, and the truth were told, the Democrats would not stand a chance of ever being elected. But, that’s not the case. Instead the Media carries the water of the Democrats and convinces clueless people in the Independent category that all Republicans are racist and sexist and every kind of evil and Republican leaders are all wanna-be Hitlers.

Advantage: Radical Democrats. To the detriment of the United States.

Are you saying that when Gavin said he wasn’t running, at the start of the debate with DeSantis, that he was telling a whopper? Gavin lie – shame on you.

The RNC and Nikki Haley keep sending texts wanting money!

This despite the fact I mark their texts as junk.

This time I replied to a Haley text with: “I wouldn’t give you the sweat off my balls!”

Next message said “You have successfully unsubscribed”.
Hey! it worked! I didn’t think anyone actually read that stuff!
