Yes. I cant speak to these latest ones but very often they come from well-to-do families. Families who could actually afford to give them a better education.
But they grew up .in a comfortable environment where a real education didn’t matter. You already know the subjects they took at college. Subjects short on numbers, facts, and rigorous thinking, but long on opinions and feelings.
Viscerally, I agree with you. Intellectually, I know that these kids are actually being well provided for, they were trained for this, and it is their actual career, destroying “Western” civilisation in the name of some crackpot nonsense or another.
These kids are not from the créme de la créme, you understand, just well off enough to know the value of Networking and Being Seen, educated in the ‘soft sciences’ and business, where they are taught the benefits of going along to get along, and, most importantly, the importance of doing as expected, and deploring the useless eaters.
Unless you are willing to walk up to them for some personal ridicule, don’t dismiss them as crackpots, they are doing a very will-paid job.
