Look no further than off shore wind farm revenues to the Crown Estate in the UK – 440Mn in 2022
That goes direct to the Govt treasury and then a % goes to the Royal Family for their upkeep – alleged to be 111Mn from 2022’s income
Thats a lot of money for renting out your nations sea bed
As always, follow the money – no wonder Charlie loves renewables

He talks to his trees but he obviously doesn’t listen.
If he listened, his trees and plants would tell him that they want more carbon dioxide, not less.

From the above article:
“King Charles attended a key climate summit in London, where he helped unveil a countdown clock showing the time remaining before the catastrophic effects of global warming become unavoidable.”

That Charles now needs a “climate clock” and blithely dismisses his former failed prediction is the clearest sign that he has totally lost it.

Yes, that’s what I thought at the last election. 60% stayed home and out of the 40% who did vote (not really democratically valid at all) he managed around 52%; so around 20% or so of Londoners voted for him. And… English (or white) Londoners are very much an ethnic minority in London. So, not even the immigrants are that fond of him.

“the same fate as his great-grandparents”

What fate was that? Unexpectedly inheriting the throne because ones big brother insisted on marrying an unsuitable woman? Charles III’s great-grandfather is George V, who became King when his brother Edward abdicated to marry Wallis Simpson.

George V was a grandson of Queen Victoria, and so the Tsarina murdered by the Bolsheviks was a first cousin. Several other cousins were also killed by the Communists, but AFAIK none of them were George V’s ancestors.

Or by “fate” did you mean the beheading of Charles I Stuart by a Puritan Parliament way back in the 1600’s? I didn’t find a direct line of descent between him and Victoria. Victoria is a Stuart descendant through Charles I’s sister Elizabeth, whose daughter married into the Electorate of Hanover. When Queen Anne died childless one of the Hanoverian princes was brought back to England as George I, great-grandfather of George III, who was Victoria’s grandfather.

Apologies for missing a ‘great’ or two. I was of course referring to the Romanov branch of the inbred dynasty. The lineage can get confusing very quickly. Follow up the line and Chuck is seen to be his own cousin. And Uncle. And possibly his own sibling. His parents were second cousins, Vicky and Bert were first cousins.

For inbred, you can’t beat Hitler. His father and mother were cousins*. He used to shtup his half-sister’s daughter. He had an aunt who was malformed and a mentally defective sister (never given a name) who was put in an institution. He claimed he never married because he was “married to Germany,” but the real reason was that he knew his genes were flawed and was afraid any child he fathered would be like the aunt. He expunged his feelings of self-loathing by projecting these horrid genetics upon the Jews. The family roots were from the Waldviertel, an area known for incestuous behavior. You’d be shocked if you learned his grandfather’s name.

* depending on who his mystery grandfather was.

If you listen carefully to the clip, when the announcer says Prince/King Charles has been an active environmental campaigner for fifty years, someone in the gathering can be heard to quietly say ‘crap’
A more elegant summary is possible but the overview of King Charles was clearly made.
As ever we should look for the positives. The blob the alarmists have nailed themselves to a time frame. Charles of course did this in the past back in 2009 he claimed we had just 96 months to save the world. That fateful day passed in July 2017 without any MSM reminding anyone of Charles’s useless ability to advise about anything.
Here we are again. This time he has engaged with another useless publicly funded chancer the Mayor of London no doubt he is hoping to share the guilt when 2030 comes around and we are still here (hopefully). The world will still be a beautiful benign place to live, thanks to our technology and use of fossil fuels to provide mechanical help in the fields and industries we eight billion rely on.
Under Citizen Khan’s leadership London will be a car free city by 2030 of course, along with a declining population. That will be helpful when Charles needs to helicopter in, to then be chauffer driven around the car free city streets.

Reply to  Rod Evans
July 1, 2023 5:23 pm

Well, here’s an actual quote of Prince Charles made more recently, in 2019:
“I am firmly of the view that the next 18 months will decide our ability to keep climate change to survivable levels and to restore nature to the equilibrium we need for our survival”, Prince Charles speech at a Reception for Commonwealth Foreign Ministers, July 11, 2019

[note: July 11, 2019 + 18 months = mid-January 2021, so we passed that point-of-no-return more than 2 years ago]

So, Charles is at least a two-time loser in his predictions.

Charles… I blame Phil the Greek and Laurens van der Post… What an unholy mess of an human being.

Sadiq Khan has a history of utter conniving. He was my MP for a time in Tooting. We had him sussed which is why he went off to be Mayor. As a government whip he was pushing Labour MPs to back a bill closing hundreds of local Post Offices – several in Tooting. Having whipped the MPs into line he jumped in a car and rushed back to Tooting to join a local protest against… Post Office closures.

At his last general election outing he and his Sunni brethren fomented religious hatred against the Ahmadiyya community:

“Tooting election race infected by anti-Ahmadiyya hate campaign

An election hustings at the Tooting Islamic Centre (TIC) on April 14 turned into a dangerous farce after hardliners shut down proceedings. After arriving at the TIC, mixed-race Tory candidate Mark Clarke had to be locked into a room for his own safety after he was mistaken for Mr Butt [an Ahmadi Liberal Democrat candidate] by fundamentalists.

Mr Clarke’s election agent, Andre Walker, said: “We had to be locked in a room for our own security. The mosque committee were embarrassed by it and it was tense for a while…it was clear Nasser’s arrival would have been dangerous and a real problem. There was anger an Ahmadi was running.

During the incident, Mr Butt said he received a phone call from a committee member who told him it would be best if he did not come to speak as had been arranged.”

A few of those require intelligence – most degrees these days just teach people how to pass the exam’s but fail to teach them the subject.

A countdown clock? Then when it runs down to zero, the world will end? Maybe this is a good idea- so when it reaches zero and everything is fine, it’ll finally prove the stupidity of the “climate emergency”. Though I suspect the clock will automatically reset every 20 years before it runs down.

The clock will disappear into the memory hole around the halfway point. Then roughly three years later a new clock will be introduced by a different group of moonbats.

Nick and Rusty will explain that after reasonable and appropriate adjustments, the original clock was actually quite close to being accurate, and in any case, no such clock ever existed. It was just the clock indicating the end of the period for considering taking action.
